Super friendly service, very good breakfast, a lot of complimentaries (boat trip, dinner with staff, foot massage) and a very interesting place by itself.

Great location in the old town. Converted merchants house. Great breakfast including the best omelette since we started in Vietnam. Rooms now looking a bit shabby. No curtains or blinds to block out corridor lights at night. Traffic noise starts at 6am. No comfortable chairs in whole hotel.

Loved staying at Vinh Hung 1 Heritage Hotel. The location cannot be beat and it is one of TWO hotels in Hoi An Old Town so you will be very lucky to stay here. Breakfast is included and is DELICIOUS. The rooms are very charming and comfortable but do keep in mind this is a very old building so I suggest you have an appreciation for antiques if you are thinking about staying here. (I love antiques so I was happy) Depending on weather, you may need to use the mosquito netting but the hot water and AirCon are great!! I would definitely stay here again....I did not have enough time to use any of the extra amenities and wish I did! <3

Incredible place in the heart of old quarter. The building and rooms are gorgeous as well as all the complimentary amenities they offer. Rent a bike from them and spend the day at the beach and then wander the streets of hoi an at night. Extremely busy but beautiful and worth the experience.

The heritage house looks cute and it's a delight to stay there for its convenient location and heritage look. However, if you plan to spend time in the hotel, book another one of their properties as this one has less facilities. Staff struggles with English and the service is very very slow.

Honestly this place was just okay. The staff were nice and the location is excellent but thats about it. The a/c doesnt work well and takes forever to cool the room (there is a fan provided by the bed)(my room never cooled even though the unit was on all night), the room was sorta clean, and it was noisey and the floors were squeaky. The breakfast was mehh and small. The two things that bothered me the most though (besides the a/c not working well in HOT Hoi An) was that there was not an elevator so you have to drag your luggage up and down the tiny, skinny, squeaky stairs yourself and i fell on the way down with my luggage. The other thing that i didnt like is that i did not feel safe. I am a solo female traveler and the room they put me in had a window right next to the bed that was connected to the public balcony -----it was broken and couldnt completely close or be locked and could have easily been opened from the outside. There were bars to make sure someone couldnt enter so i know they are aware of this problem... but any peeping tom could easily see through them as i was sleeping if they wanted. I put the fan and the lamp in front of the window to make sure i would hear if the shutters were opened. Also the door has a cheap push lock that i felt could be opened, so i had to put a chair against the door and under the doorknob to properly secure it and im glad i did! At around 1 a.m. someone tried to enter my room! Im sure it was probably someone coming in late from drinking and it was probably an accident but never the less it scared me and i just would not recomend this hotel to anyone, especially to solo female travelers. For $10 more you can stay at the Allegro which is amazing. I am here now and I love it.

Beautiful and authentic hotel in the heart of old town. Very clean and comfortable. The staff are kind and helpful. Guests are offered an array of complementary experiences including a massage, boat ride and language lessons.
