"Thanks to careful restoration, this early 20C building (which looks like a castle! ) has been converted into a charming resort in the middle of the countryside. The interior decor has a fashionable feel, with original furnishings from the 1950s and 60s. Elegant, welcoming and spacious guestrooms, plus the added attraction of a swimming pool and spa." - Tablet Hotels

Here you can find a complete package: good accommodation, Michelin star restaurant and a relaxing spa.|The room was spacious, big window, comfortable bed and everything that you need inside( except iron for clothes).|Breakfast is exactly what you need when you travel to Italy: the cheese, the meat, the pastry and eggs. Fresh fruits and juices.|Dinner was every time a special event. One evening we enjoyed a degustation menu of the Casamatta restaurant and other evening was dedicated to a wine tasting, 8 labels from all Italy together with a selection of cheese and meat cuts.|The personnel is always helpful and very nice.|So, don’t miss this location!

The setting is as tranquil and lovely as the website promises. As you would expect, the bedding was plush, the bathroom both functional and stylish. A good breakfast is something we really enjoy, and the Vinilia did not disappoint - fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, sweet and savory breads, yogurt and omelettes made to order. Possibly even more laudable than the physical environment was the exceptional service of the very friendly staff. At each and every turn, the employees were gracious, kind, helpful and welcoming. We always felt that, by choice, they took pride in going one step beyond what may have been expected of them. Kudos, applause and gratitude to Team Vinilia.

We had a fantastic stay at this great location. Highly recommended to discover the whole region, conveniently located, and with a beautiful little castle nested in a quiet park. The restaurant is worth the experience : the menu offers a great choice of local products, prepared with great skills by the Chef. One of our best value for money michelin-starred restaurant. The team was really helpful in discovering the local wines. All in all, a great place, highly recommended!

We loved everything about our stay at Vinilia. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food was amazing - both at breakfast and at dinner. We also had lunch by the pool one day, which was excellent. The staff members were extremely friendly. You could easily take day trips from the area, but we spent our time there luxuriating at the pool and on the grounds. It was a true highlight of our two weeks in Puglia. Worth the splurge!

What a lovely property tucked away in a private and quiet location. The beautifully restored castle is the perfect juxtaposition of old and new, decorated with bright, smart and modern furnishings. A tour was provided by the knowledgeable and extremely pleasant gentleman at reception. The added bonus was a delicious dinner prepared at their Michelin starred restaurant. Only suggestion for the restaurant is to have tabletops with more subtle patterns since the loudness of the design detracted from the beauty of the food. There is a lovely pool and beautifully manicured grounds. The owners should do a bit more to emphasize the “wine lodge” aspect as this was our reason (along with the restaurant) for visiting. No wine was comped in rooms (a nicety usually provided at wine lodges) and no on-site wine tastings were available. Travel to their tasting room, a good distance away is required

A very mixed experience|- Polite staff|- Beautiful unique setting|- Great rooms (junior suite)|- Great spa treatments||But….||- We complained many times about how hot our room was with the thermostat changes making no difference. Several times we were promised this would be resolved but nothing except for adjusting curtains was done|- The shower in the room was lukewarm and dribbling. Again mentioned but nothing was done|- You can’t visit the vineyards nearby. Instead you can visit some further away (at cost) - for this you have to arrange/pay for your own transport!|- The Michelin star restaurant is over-rated. It was so formal - we felt awkward like we were being watched all the time. Staff were constantly at the table and were very uptight to the point they couldn’t even smile and so uptight that it seemed like they were on order not to smile!|- We wouldn’t recommend staying here more than a few nights - there are no meal options except the fine dining in the evening. They apparently were going to “consult” with the chef to see if they could offer something to us but we didn’t hear back|- Breakfast was a similar formal affair. No smiles. Worse still staff don’t ask if they can get you anything. You have to ask if they can get you a coffee. They don’t ask or have a menu on hot breakfast options - you have to ask. Most of the staff made you feel as if you were a burden when you asked these questions|- Several times we asked for information on a few things at receptions - on two occasions despite being promised to be contacted with updates this did not happen

We arrived for 3 days, we had an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly and kind, very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place is beautiful with a good taste, the pool is amazing with a good bar service. The room and the common areas are very clean. We had great experience in Casamatta for dinner, and the breakfast is fresh and tasty! Super recommend.

Thank you to Vinilia for providing such a wonderful weekend for all our guests. The wedding itself was beautifully delivered, using the grounds, the courtyard, and the pool area for the evening, and next day pool party.||The staff here are all without exception totally focused on the needs of the guests. Fernando was constantly on duty, and looked after every request, with a smile, and super efficiency. The front reception team were always there to help with any requests, so many thanks to Adriana, Vasha, and William.||The kitchen staff delivered a wedding banquet that was Michelin quality for 86 guests, all served calmly and efficiently by the team. The wines were of course excellent, and all produced at Vanilia. Well done all.||We had 35+ guests staying for 2 days, and we all enjoyed the local food, wine, and fantastic hospitality provided by the staff. The service levels were exceptional, and the staff are always immaculately dressed, from Fernando, to the front of house team, to the maids who serviced the room. Once again many thanks for your tireless efforts, and congratulations for making us all so welcome.
