I particularly enjoyed my salmon starter, which was quite generous, and I found the house white wine very palatable. The fish is all very fresh and there is a huge choice. I thought the prices were reasonable, and the service was polite and friendly

Seafood is absolutely delicious, I took the fish stew and grilled sardines. Good service, it is not a big and elegant restaurant but more like a bistro, I would go again for the quality of the food.

We were 2 couples and visiting Ljubljana. It was Sunday night when we went for dinner. We ordered fish dishes. The fish were fresh and tasty but small portion. I didn’t enjoy the cold mashed potato side dish. Dinner entrees were pricey and the house wine was mediocre. Service was good.

We visited Vino&Ribe in the city center of Ljubljana with my spouse and our 1-year-old daughter. It was a national holiday, so the place was quite crowded, but the wait was absolutely worth it. We ordered the fish platter for two, and what arrived was a nearly massive seafood feast. Every item on the plate, especially the prawns, was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the octopus salad as well. We left the restaurant very happy. The only downside was the heat, as there was no air conditioning, but once the feast began, we didn’t really mind—though the cold Union beers certainly helped!

I came to this place on a food tour and I wanted to come back to try more as it looked really good. I'm glad I did. I had the shrimp salad, potato salad (not sure why I had that too lol) and the trio of calamari. It did not disappoint. I thought it would have been too much for one person but I was hungry. The trio was delicious and the fried ones were lightly coated and well seasoned. The potato salad was also very tasty and no mayonnaise in sight. The shrimp salad was light so I managed to finish the meal except the potato. Too full in the end. It is a small place and it's first come first serve. So be prepared to wait if you want to try this place.

Excellent octopus. Good wine. Tender calamari. All the food was really fresh and tasty. Good wine options by carafe or bottle. Be aware that there are a few things on the old menu board that aren’t on the actual menu anymore. Nice spot for a casual dinner. Moderatey priced. Dog friendly.

The calamari trio was very good! It came with fried, grilled and prosciutto stuffed calamari as well as a garlic sauce and tartar sauce. The fish burger was also light and delicious with a large portion of circle fries

Grilled lassos is very very oily. Too much of oil. Aperol has no ice, no orange and has no classical taste. Service is good. Prices are touristy. Broken plates… 😳
