An interesting experience. Small spot so you may struggle to find a table. Great food selection at reasonable prices, including the wine. All fresh with decent portions. Had the sardines, shrimp and mackerel. Shrimp were massive and took a while to strip and eat. Was a lovely place, though it was quiet noise-wise. On entering, a customer was complaining about the scampi (not what they expected) which isn't the restaurant's fault but the server gave a little attitude. We were the last ones in there at around 2130 and the two staff were arguing quite loudly in front of us which was awkward.

The indoor area was infested with flies. Not just a few, but a full-blown insect convention. At that time there were no outdoor seats available—fine. We decided to order takeaway. 15 minutes later, outdoor seats opened up. I asked a male waiter and got permission to sit there. Yet suddenly, a woman stormed over, shouting at us to leave. When I calmly explained that I had already asked for permission, she cut me off and barked: “I’m the boss!” and kicked us out. Look, I fully respect a business’s rules. But if the owner had shown her true colors before taking our money, we would’ve left and never come back. What a win-win that would’ve been 😊 And by the way, food was painfully average. Definitely not worth the street-shouting drama. They somehow managed to make fish and chips worse than in the UK—which, frankly, should be impossible. P.S. Just genuinely curious—are takeaway customers not worthy of cutlery? Knives only for dine-in? Are we supposed to cut octopus with our bare hands or what? Again, would’ve been great to know in advance. It’s not like we have to eat their food 😊

excellent restaurant, we spent a great evening, very good wines. The food was really delicious. The waitress who served us was excellent and everything arrived very quickly in the blink of an eye, she was very pleasant. I think her name is Renata. thank you very much for everything

Never thought week say this, the best potato fries that were seasoned with some dry spice. Fish portion was tiny but well made. Fish stew with grilled polenta was hearty and warmed the soul. Inexpensive espresso adds house wine made it an enjoyable meal.

I particularly enjoyed my salmon starter, which was quite generous, and I found the house white wine very palatable. The fish is all very fresh and there is a huge choice. I thought the prices were reasonable, and the service was polite and friendly

We ordered the Calamari Trio with potato wedges and water. The food and service were good. However, when we paid, we noticed an additional €2 service charge and the card machine also prompted for a tip in percentage. When we asked, the lady said it was €1 per person as a service charge and pointed to the menu where it was written. It feels wrong to include both a service charge and a tip prompt. It should be one or the other. I ended up paying both by mistake — the service charge and an additional 10% tip. This comes across as misleading and unfair to customers.

Excellent octopus. Good wine. Tender calamari. All the food was really fresh and tasty. Good wine options by carafe or bottle. Be aware that there are a few things on the old menu board that aren’t on the actual menu anymore. Nice spot for a casual dinner. Moderatey priced. Dog friendly.
