Google
Great experience, service and food was superb. Id go for the traditional dishes instead of the schnitzels. The small plates were amazing! Have a few to start. Menu has everything from traditional to more modern dishes, but everything with a local twist.

Google
Always so crowded and full. Spacious place. The service though is abit slow due to the crowd. The food is okay. I celebrated my birthday there and brought my own cake but they made me pay 300 extra as a “cake fee”. But they are responsive on emails for reservations.

Great atmosphere, attentive staff and amazing food. Decent vegetarian options. The pumpkin and cheese dumplings were delicious. Great value for money too.

Google
Read about this restaurant serving Czech dumplings, a local food. Decided to try it tonight. The restaurant has many tables but very busy. Highly recommend that you make a reservation ahead of time to avoid disappointment. We were attended to by friendly staff. We ordered a duck salad, pumpkin dumpling, duck confit and a dessert. Food was served promptly and it tasted good. Reasonable price too. Worth eating here if you wish explore local food.

Google
Really cool place. Check out the ceiling with animal sculptures sticking down. The service was very good with multiple people helping out. Ordered drinks and got them fast. Pear bread pudding for desert was excellent!

Google
Really good restaurant serving traditional Czech dishes. The tartare was on point and you should definitely try the pear bread for dessert. We also enjoyed a great service by our waiter Ivan who was super humorous. Thanks!

Google
There were tables outside of restaurants looking towards the church. The chicken soup was flavorful but light, fit perfectly as a starter for heavy main dishes. The pumpkin soup was creamy. The duck was a little bit on the dry side but is was well complemented with the peppery sauce. There were some bacon and whole pepper, which was interesting in the mouth. The beef dish was really good with incredible sauce and kledniky. The beef was a tad dry but understandable since the meat is from the leg. We were there during lunch rush and there were a lot of people. The waiters were really busy and one of them accidentally took the dish when I was not finished.

We've been in Prague 4 days and this was our second visit to Parlament. The whole experience was so great the first time, we wanted a repeat. This time we had the roast beef Friday special, and the pork and tongue terrine. Both were excellent, as was the service. I almost licked the bowl, the gravy was so delicious. We topped it off with apricot cake and almost licked that bowl, too. Overall, a superb experience.

Yelp
Prague was a stop on my cross-European bike adventure this summer and I simply loved my stay here. In fact, the visit to this restaurant contributed immensely to my favorite review of this city: the food was amazing, the atmosphere great and the service was excellent. Having had just arrived in Prague earlier that day and having cycled 100+ kilometers, I was quite famished when I arrived. I hadn't made a reservation but being a singleton at an early evening hour, the staff found me a table quickly. I started by ordering an alcohol-free beer and then I perused the menu. Marek, the waiter, soon came to my aide and helped me pick out a hearty portion: dumplings, of course! For dessert, I also had another set of dumplings and I loved both dishes.

Yelp
Outstanding spot for delicious local cuisine. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The prices are excellent as well. We had the tartare as well as some stuffed dumplings and braised beef (I think). Have a look at the ceiling design as well. Very cool!

Yelp
My second Czech Restaurant in Prague, and I was not disappointed. The ambience of the place was buzzing with a young clientele and the staff being very friendly and very attentive kept the beer coming. Food was nicely presented and more importantly tasteful as well ! I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Probably the best food we had in Prague! The veal dumplings were very dill-heavy which my husband absolutely loved! The bread dumplings were delicious and the meat was beyond tender. Service was efficient but not particularly warm. We were able to get an english menu and the waiter had excellent recommendations. The beer keeps flowing, but definitely recommend trying some of their lemonade too (which is more like a sparkling juice).

Yelp
Holy cow. This is legitimately the best food I've had in Europe on my current trip. I don't say this lightly either. I studied abroad in Paris for over 3 months and have been traveling around Italy and Germany for the remaining month with other countries sprinkled in. On this trip, I've been to 12 countries. I can confidently say this food was incredibly delicious and very unexpected. They have an English menu, the staff is friendly, and the place has a bustling atmosphere. I ordered the Crackling Duck Dumplings, which were phenomenal. They were so good, I would come back tomorrow and get more. I will definitely be coming to this restaurant again before I leave Prague. The duck inside is succulent and is bursting with flavor. For the main, I ordered the Pork Goulash. This was also very good. I wouldn't mind getting it again. The pork was extremely tender, falling apart at the slightest provocation of the fork, no knife necessary. The pork was excellent, the sauce was full of flavor and added a lot to the dish. I'm not even sure what the bread looking things are but with the sauce on them, they were divine. I think the duck dumplings were the star of the show though. I would rate this dish a 4.5/5, and the dumplings 5/5. Both were exceptional. Would definitely come back and offer them again. I would heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone in Prague. It's so good I'll be telling my friends about it. I already texted several to tell them how good the food was. I made this my first stop in Prague, hopefully the rest of the food lives up to the same quality and flavor.

Yelp
Really had a great experience at this restaurant. The service, food, and atmosphere were all lovely. We were easily accommodated by the manager and waitress who all spoke english and helped answer our questions about the menu. Highly recommend

Yelp
The beef dumplings with blueberries was a special and we loved it! Everything on the menu is wonderful and the staff is super nice and helpful!

Yelp
This place is noisy. Staff is quick. Menu in English. The food is excellent!! The special of farmers chicken had crispy seasoned skin and moist chicken. The bacon chips were delicious. The small plates are not so small. Skip the beef in pastry...the escargot and beef cheeks were delicious. The cider was good. Did I mention this place is crazy noisy loud??!! Be careful, they are quick to remove unattended food and drink regardless if you are finished. The dessert of blueberry dumplings come in servings of two or four. Very rich and delicious. Two was enough to share with four people. Warm with a creme anglaise....excellent venue!

Yelp
When two local people from Prague recommend a place, that means you must come here right? Came around 5 and was seated immediately. Very clean and modern decor. Since this was our first real dinner in Prague, we decided to go "all out". We each had 2 beers (delicious, frothy, and cold). For starters we had the trout, beef cheeks, as well as marinated pork. The beef cheeks were seasoned so well and tender! The trout was soft buttery heaven. For our main entree we decided to split some pork dish. It wasn't as great as our appetizers but we still finished it all. Dessert was awesome. We got strawberries that came with this fresh whipped cream like dipping sauce. As well as a rhubarb cake. Everything was delicious. The service was quick and attentive. Best of all? For all this food and drinks the tab was $40. I kid you not.

Yelp
First dinner in Prague with couchsurfers. I've never had raw meat and just started eating meat and wow was I addicted to the beef tartar. I couldn't stop! It was so flavorful. Is this what I was missing out on for all these years? I loved that the bread was so thin and crunchy and the beef was so perfectly seasoned. I tried beef tartar elsewhere after this and no place compares. I was craving it so much after trying it from here. Everything else I had here was okay - fish, meat sandwich, bacon chips, and creme puff with meat sauce. As for interior, it's quite loud and there is a line. You'll be surrounded by Czech locals but they do have an English menu! You can split the bill on multiple cards and the restroom is clean.

Yelp
I try to be objective here since we were forgotten by the waitress and therefore got our food almost 1.5h after we ordered. 2 out of 3 dishes we ordered were quite good (steak tartare and veal neck). The third dish (don't remember exactly the name of that steak) was terrible in every way. It felt like eating a shoe sole and the sides were drowned/soaked in grease. I would not say it was the worst as some people would quote dissatisfied but that unflavored full piece of meat killed it... Staff was ok except for the waitress I mentioned above who did not even admit here fault when I pointed out that the neighbor table who came way after us got the same dish we ordered before is... Just say sorry, we all make mistakes but it feels better for the customer with a simple sorry or an extra glass of wine we then had to order ourselves since we waited so long and finished the first round already... Conclusion is that for that price range you can ask for more...

Yelp
Really fantastic modern Czech restaurant with a wide selection of beers. Recommended by a Czech friend. Seemed very popular and I really recommend it and would go again if in Prague.

Yelp
Awesome place in Vinohrady right by the metro stop with a fun and modern atmosphere. Great selection of drinks, anything from beer and wine to lemonades and soft drinks. Food is outstanding. Has a traditional Czech menu with a little modern twist. Will be going here a lot.

Yelp
Food was great!!! First day in Prague, long train ride from Munich, we were starving. I found this on to local map we had, and I'm glad I did. I had the beef roll which was super good almost like a roast thing. Service was AMAZING!!! They were so helpful I would definitely come here again and maybe try veal rump!
google avatar

Yelp
BEST meal we've had in Prague. Wine list is delicious too. We had the steak tartar, the south bohemian trout and the XXL bone-in pork cutlet. All wonderful. The gratin potatoes that come with the pork were to die for. The watercress sauce on the trout was amazing as well. I'd give this place six stars if I could!!!

Yelp
Okay, okay so if I could have one last meal on Earth at one last restaurant, this is the place I would choose. I LOVE THIS PLACE so much. So much. I wanted to move to Prague just so I could eat here every other day. My cousin and I were in Praha for about 3 days and after we went here, we were like fuck it this is the best place ever and ate here 3 times in 2 days. Yeah, it's that amazing. If you stop in Praha and you aren't eating here you have should have some serious regrets...and I ask you to question all your past decisions up to this point. First things first, they have happy hour during lunch time. Lunch time. Where if you dine between 11am and 2pm you get bottomless refills of Cherry soda or free refills of beer (yeah, that's right!)...and oh my goodness, their cherry soda is the most amazing thing I ever drank. It is nothing like any other soda you've had (trust me, I've went to World Market after coming back to the states and bought all the cherry sodas they had just so I could experience it again). No, their cherry soda is just magical, it taste like they juiced some cherries and carbonated it. It's divine and I miss it every day. They also have real juices here in which they add carbonation to and it's just the best thing in the world. Try all of their juices if you come here, you won't regret it. Their beer list is huge and I'm sure you can find exactly what you're looking for in terms of getting properly hydrated. In terms of food, everything is so delicious. Their beef and dumplings are simply the best, their fish was cooked perfectly, every single dish was just out of this world. I apologize as I am writing this review 7 months after I ate here, so I don't remember the specifics of each meal. Plus, like everything in Prague it's so so affordable. All of our meals came out to less than $30-40 USD and we splurged and ate a shit ton of food. I don't regret any of it. I miss this place so much and think about it on a weekly basis. Oh and the employees are so nice, they work all day long. We came for lunch at 12pm and came for dinner at 11pm and it was the same people working, they are just the sweetest. On our last dinner there they brought us complimentary shots of something strong, because we told them we were so sad we couldn't eat there anymore. Not all of them speak English but they have a great English menu that you can use to point at, which I became a pro at doing. ;) All in all, I want to go back to Prague just so I can eat here.

Yelp
As an American, we would call this place "elevated" pub food or traditional food. It was fantastic. We came in around 730, and it was very busy but had no trouble getting a table. Wait staff was friendly, and provided us with an English menu. We started with the beef cheek in a red wine sauce and I think it was about 160 crowns? In any case, it was delicious. For mains I got the deep fried boar which was served with pickled beets and over a potato salad. First off, it was a TON of food. Second off it was all delicious. Think schnitzel. It was about 250 crowns. My brother got the XXL pork cutlet. Again, huge. Again only about 250 crowns. Great meal. Great prices! I get spoiled when traveling to other countries because the meal would have cost 25-35% more back home.

Yelp
I know many people adore this place, but to be honest I never really understood why. The food is average Czech food but there are better places to try Czech cuisine. In case you are vegetarian or gluten-intolerant, don't bother. For vegetarians there are only a few items on the menu and in the main dishes there are no gluten free options at the moment. The soup and goat cheese salad I've tried both contained too much vinegar, and were not a pleasant experience. The restaurant can easily fit several big groups and the service is still very fast which is impressive. But due to the crowds the restaurant tends to get very noisy as well and the decor is very dull. The best part of their selection are the few homemade lemonades offered.

Yelp
Love their food, Asparagus green soup and veal steak with lentils!! The outside seating is very nice

Frieder K.

Yelp
This review is more than overdue. We are regulars there and have rarely ever had any less-than-superb experiences! The Parlament is great for lunch and even better in the evenings. They have specialised on the Czech cuisine, with and without twists. You won't find too many options as a vegetarian but that's not really their fault...it's a czech thing. As if the excellent food wasn't enough: The staff is super nice and friendly even when it's rush hour there during lunch time between 12AM and 1PM. Nuff said. One of THE great restaurants in terms of low-key (lunch) and almost-fancy-but-still-relaxed (dinner) options in Prague. We were bringing dozens of Germans there for the evening before our wedding and they all loved it so much I am not even sure if they remember anything else from that weekend...
google avatar

Yelp
We came for a late lunch so the food came out a bit slower, but there was plenty of beer - they have huge tanks of Staropramen, a local favorite, on-site which keeps the beer superbly fresh. They also have a handful of different types of Staropramen on tap - I liked the lager a lot. The food was good but not great. Service was jovial and there is plenty of seating, inside and out.

Yelp
I was in Prague for 2 nights and this was one of my pit stops on the way to the main street. The food here was excellent! My party of 5 enjoyed everything from the beer, to the bacon chips, to the pork roll. Staff was awesome and very attentive. Highly Recommended !

Yelp
Industrial stainless steel chic meets American 50s diner - it's oddly the only way to describe this place. They serve modern versions of what felt like standard Czech fare. We started with some pig tail croquettes. Admittedly, some at the table were a little grossed out by the idea of pig tails but the meat was shredded and battered, served with a red onions and a light mayo based dip. What's not to like? Gnocchi with cauliflower was lightened with the addition of snow peas, peas and a pea purée. The dish was a little on the dry side and could have done with a bit more liquid to loosen it up but this was still tasty. A trout dish came on a bed of fresh veg - asparagus, peas, mushrooms and potatoes. They also had the Euro 2016 match on which was fun to watch in a non- pub environment. Servers spoke English and they also have English menus. Cool spot!
google avatar

Jesse W.

Yelp
Zero vegetarian options (normal for Prague). Lights on real bright (normal for Prague). Small beer selection (normal for Prague). Really disgusting food options like blood soup, made of real animal blood (normal for Prague). Poorly designed tiny bathroom (normal for Prague). If you love traditional Czech stuff and hate animals, you'll love this place. If you've been to decent places or ever left the country, avoid.
google avatar

Sophia S.

Yelp
I came here for the lamb with beets and lentils. The beets and lentils with the sauce they were in was very good actually, but the lamb was a bit dry. Also, the girl who was my server acted like I was a bother to be there all together. I don't think this is the case for the entire wait staff though. Another girl came up to my table once or twice and was really polite.
google avatar

Caitlin B.

Yelp
Amazing food! Our Airbnb host recommended Parlament and we are so happy we went! We each tried something different, but each dish was great.
google avatar

Meredith B.

Yelp
I am visiting Prague for the first time and I was recommended this restaurant so obviously I checked it out. English menu? Check! Good prices? Check! Amazing food? Check! You HAVE to go!
google avatar

Raphael S.

Yelp
I love this place. Food is good and there's a children's play area. While the service for mains was somewhat slow, the food was worth the wait. It was also relatively inexpensive for a night out.
google avatar

Martin W.

Yelp
We came here after we did an escape room in Prague. After we were done, we were a little hungry and had a long journey ahead of us. We asked the fine gent running the escape room a good place to eat, and he recommended here. It was about a 10 minute walk from where we were and it was freezing out, so we were ready to rumble when we arrived. I got the goulash and it was flippin fantastic. Thick, chunky, piping hot and super filling. A perfect stew on a cold, windy day. This place rocks!

Yelp
My family and I were in Prague for about 2 days, and came here for dinner on our second night after seeing the reviews and I must say, we were not disappointed! This was probably one of my (and my family's) favorite meals of our entire trip. I got the apple-elderberry lemonade, which was amazing! I normally don't really like carbonated drinks, but this drink was bubbly, but not too bubbly which made it perfect. I love that they use fresh fruit in the drinks as well. As for the food, all of the dishes we ordered were delicious. We got the strong beef rib and tail broth soup, which I really enjoyed since it was pretty light. I got the grilled rump steak which was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My brother tried the slow roasted czech rabbit, which he really enjoyed. Overall, the food was good and the prices were reasonable/affordable. I would definitely recommend this place if you visit Prague!

Kayser K.

Yelp
Had a very nice meal here with my wife and toddler. There were lots of people there but also plenty of tables available on a Saturday night since the place is so big. Everyone was incredibly friendly and they immediately brought out some coloring pencils for our little one. Had some good unfiltered beer, roast pork, some special beef with pastry and a fried rabbit salad. Everything was great. We topped it off with a jam filled gnocchi dessert which was also fantastic. The prices seemed pretty good as well. Much better than in the center of the old town tourist zones.
google avatar

Beth S.

Yelp
Our family visited this restaurant in Aug 2018. Great place for families. Has a kids menu, kids placemats with games and colored pencils that come to your table, fancy lemonades and a room with a great play area. Food was very good and service excellent. I'd go again if ever in Prague.
google avatar

Simon Frithjof S.

Yelp
The last star is because of the waiter who was awesome! Food was super nice - beer was good - nice place - Highly recommended Reasonable prices
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Unexpected gem, great service, fantastic food! The waiter was one of the best I've ever had, almost unbelievably cheerful. The food - I got the steak with mashed kohlrabi and potatoes, and the cherry tart for dessert - was perfect. The steak was exactly cooked to order, just perfectly pink. The tart was even better - fresh cherries, and it showed. There was also free wifi, if that's your thing. I would recommend it - and I'd go again.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant didnt have the friendliest staff. I went here with a group of meat eater friends who seemed to enjoy the food. Im pescatarian and i got the trout starter dish. It was good, but not spectacular.

Yelp
Vinohradský Parlament was a few blocks from our Air BnB. My husband was looking for somewhere a bit more local, with good beer and food. Vinohradský Parlament looks like a trendy brewery inside. We sat downstairs and ordered off the English menu. It was another delicious meal in Prague.

Ian G.

Yelp
We randomly came across Parlament while walking around Prague. This place is 10/10. The food is amazing, we ordered the beef goulash and a few other dishes, but the goulash, I swear it is to die for!! Drinks are fire and service is fantastic! Parlament, I love you & I miss you. Anxiously waiting to go back to Praha.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Walked into Prague and this was the first stop I made (thanks yelp!) ... what a great surprise! Got the dill and potato dish for vegetarians and was delish. I got the lemonade with ginger which was also very crisp and satisfying. Awesome menu in english too.

Yelp
It´s a cool place to go especially for a big groups. Trust me, there is plenty of room to sit. It has a bit industrial tint and therefore it doesn´t feel cozy or maybe comfortable for someone but I still like the enviroment even if it´s not my favourite. Service is very nice. Big plus for them. Beer is very good. If someone doesn´t like Staropramen there are other beers like Hoegaarden. I am not a big fan of Staropramen but non-filtered one is pretty good. The cousine is czech so expect all those traditional meals like duck, goulash etc. But they have also fish and other meals not so typical for us. And the quality of meals is high. So never happened to me that I would be dissapointed. They also have those little snacks as a pickled hermelin. Just in a case you are not so hungry and just wanna have something small with your beer. Definitely the place worth to visit when you are around Náměstí Míru.

Yelp
If you are looking for fresh beer and tasty Czech food in a convenient location, look no further, Parlament is the place for you! The restaurant is huge with both smoking and non smoking sections. The beer is fresh, cold and promptly served. The menu has all of the Czech classics and they are very well prepared. I had the rabbit which was wonderful. My dining companion had the krkovice, which was also tasty. Bonus points for the huge kids play place, which has free babysitting on weekends. Keeps all the kids coralled in one area!

Yelp
What an unexpected treat. I had read the other reviews and was optimistic, but this was a real surprise in terms of quality. We had dinner on a Saturday night here and everything was absolutely delicious. We started with what I believe they called 'Beer Food'. It was a plate of homemade potato chips and this wonderful dipping sauce. My wife and I both ordered salads - chicken and beef. They were tremendous, although the beef could have had a bit more beef. Our kids ordered the beef rib with potatoes and turkey with risotto. We loved everything, but the risotto wasn't the typical creamy kind that we prefer. I think the highlight of the dinner were the drinks - my wife had some strawberry/line homemade soda that was magnificent and I loved the beer - mostly because it's cheaper than water. The only thing that seemed incongruent from the other reviews was was the wait staff. Several of the reviews talked about how terrific they were, but we found them pretty typical. Nothing special jumped out at us, but they certainly weren't bad. Service was not included, so we did add extra for a tip - the receipt highlighted this need as well. Oh yeah - how could I forget. They offered a non-smoking section!

Yelp
An excellent restaurant all the way around. Service, food and atmosphere were just right. We had the best lunch of our stay in Praha. We wanted to get away from Old Town and see other neighborhoods. Great spot and neighborhood. Our lunch was so good, my husband had the veal shoulder, red cabbage and pancakes, oh my, soooo good. The meat sauce was really tasty. I had a salad with bacon and potatoes and fresh cherry tomatoes, nice salad, kind of BLT tasting. All that said, the beer, again in Praha, is amazing. Love the beers here, today we had Staropramen beer, cold and refreshing. I liked that it didn't feel touristy, seemed like a local spot for good, modern, traditional dishes.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
Went here for lunch and I must say, clean, nice interior, well organized restaurant and I loved the overlooking factor of the upstairs booths. Staff was alright, nothing fancy, we sat whereever we wanted which was nice. Drinks came quickly, but sadly so did the food. It was correct but honestly was not that good. I had the roasted chicken (on the bone) with Mashed potatoes and gravy. I understand we came at lunch but many people are raving about this place and frankly I did not find it that special. I can think of a bunch of better places to go for a good meal then here.
google avatar

Mina J.

Yelp
We absolutely loved the food- and the unfiltered beer, too! Tried the beef roll with rice and also veal neck. Both were absolutely delicious. Also the plum strudel was nice. Our wait staff was a lady named Lada- she was super friendly and lovely. We would definitely come back.

Yelp
We just arrived in Prague and found this restaurant on yelp. Absolutely delicious food and great price. I had a cherry beer which I thought was great. I'm not a big beer drinker so the sweetness was enough for me. I tried the savory beef with pastry with cabbage and horseradish. Pastry was light and flaky and not at all soggy. The beef was so tender and tasty. We also tried the homemade potato crisps ( basically potato chips) with a sour cream dip. My son tried the beef roll and as not disappointed. The beef was like a tender roast that was rolled up and braised. My daughter ordered the potatoes in a dill sauce. Very tasty the sauce was loaded with fresh dill. For dessert we had strawberries with wine sabayon. A great ending to our meal. The total cost for three people with alcohol drinks, main course and dessert was about $40. And they have an English menu and English speaking waitstaff. Great food. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of the nicest surprises of this fall for me :) It was so necessary to open such place around Namesti Miru. There were not many options to go for a pint of great beer and authentic but modern Czech meal. This place fully respects tradition, but brings many new elements into its concept. Non smoking, large enough for big groups, fairly priced, and extremely well located. All my recommendations.
google avatar

Jacob M.

Yelp
Just regular food. Its a little nummer that the drinks are Parlament only. The "Kola" is not like CocaCola at all.

Julie R.

Yelp
Outstanding food and service. Prices are very low. One, small minus was the music, which was very loud, but since this was on new year's eve, we assumed it was only occasional. Definitely coming back when I visit Prague again!!!!

Yelp
Went here for dinner on my last night in town. Food was solid. My boyfriend ordered the roast chicken which unfortunately was pretty raw close to the bone. They were very apologetic, took it off the bill and gave us 2 shots of brandy. Well done. Non-smoking section and english menus a plus.
