VinoVero Los Gatos

We absolutely love this place. We have been 4-5 times and have consistently had a very good experience every time (which I feel is rare). Went last night for my birthday dinner and enjoyed every dish and drink so very much! The food: I love the small share plates vibes. There are so many options for both meat lovers and veg heads alike. We shared the olives, artichokes, the house made pickled veggies (I’m obsessed), focaccia (this stuff is crack). We got the new salad that has crispy proiscutto and the spring pizza. Both were excellent. The spritz selection is on point and so refreshing on a warm evening (they use crushed ice and it is just so yummy). Depending on what you like, they can suggest one that you would like. The pizzas here are a thicker crust coated in cornmeal and are sooooooo amazingly good. The service: Michael the owner is awesome. He is great at offering suggestions and makes you feel at home in his restaurant. The vibe is very relaxed and comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion!

What a super cute and quaint place to indulge in good food and good wine! We met the owner, Michele, when he was originally at Tasting House down the street. When you talk to him, his passion for wine totally shines through. We first came a few weeks after the establishment opened, but recently came back to have a full dinner, which I didn’t even know they served until I looked online. OMG, everything was good. And Michele’s recommendations are always so good. I have a feeling when the weather shapes up and it’s warm out, this place is going to be booked solid. It’s a small place but offers a few tables outdoors, weather permitting. Love love love this place and will definitely be back again! Note, there’s lots of parking around the area (on the street and random lots). Also, the photo of the meatballs, there were actually 8-10 but I took photos after we ate more than half.

A great addition to downtown LG Fresh and seasonally inspired menu and good wine! The menu isn’t large which is perfect because it allows VinoVero to perfect what they offer. All around great experience and I highly recommend the burrata and the focaccia! The meatballs were perfect to share, salad was super fresh and had many textures (which I personally prefer), and the tiramisu really tied the meal’s experience together. Can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely LOVE this place. It feels like home and the owner Michael is so amazing. He really listens to what your wine preference is and always sets you up with the perfect Italian wine. I literally say to him... it's your house... send over your 4 best menu items. NEVER DISAPPOINTED his wines and foods are BEYOND the best! Fun wine bar with delicious bites, made from high quality ingredients. VinoVero has a great selection of Italian wines, and the entire menu is fantastic. Highly recommend the burrata, cheese/charcuterie boards and monteserno (beets). Presentation and atmosphere are on point -- feels like you're in Italy!

Had an incredible meal. Two beautiful salads, a great lamb dish and beautiful wine. The owner is wonderful and takes incredible care of guests. And the focaccia may be the best I’ve ever had.

Exceptional service. At the start of our meal Michael asked everyone seated if we had any food allergies and then crafted all of our dishes around that. Every dish was presented with dedicated beauty and integrity to the food. Delicious food happens here 💖💖

My friend and I came here last night and had the best time. It is definitely the new hidden gem of Los Gatos. One of the Owner's was there and he was very friendly, welcoming and helped us have a Mom's night out without really any thought! We told him the type of wine we liked and he brought us a few different options, told us about the grapes, where they were from and we thoroughly enjoyed trying new things and grapes we would not be able to try unless we were in Italy. We had a Riesling that was perfectly mineral and similar to a Sav Blanc - not what we would have ordered off the menu at first glance but was perfect for what we were looking for and his recommendation. The second glass was a bottle that we wouldn't be able to get at a store and was equally as yum as the first from San Gimignano in Tuscany. He stuck by the table for a while and we talked about my upcoming trip to Italy and he was so happy to share suggestions and offer to let me email him and he could tell me some must go to places in the Tuscan region. Both my friend and I agreed that he was an awesome part of the experience. We did the Chef's Selection for Cheese and Charcuterie which was super delicious, the Burrata which was the best I have ever had, bar none and house mad Focaccia which honestly, I would go again just to eat.... Looking for a date night, afternoon refresher with snacks or an Mom's night out - highly suggest this place. We'll be regulars :)
