Vinpearl Safari Phú Quốc is an outstanding attraction and easily one of the highlights of the island. The diversity of animal species is impressive, with well-maintained habitats that allow you to see a wide range of wildlife in a setting that feels open and thoughtfully designed. What truly sets this safari apart is the closeness with which the animals can be seen. Whether on the safari ride or while walking through the park, the viewing experience is immersive and engaging, making it memorable for both adults and children. The safari experience itself is very well executed, offering a unique opportunity to observe animals up close in a calm, organized, and educational environment. If you plan to purchase a VIP pass, it is more efficient to buy it online in advance to save time and avoid queues. That said, it is highly recommended to walk through the park and explore all areas, as this allows you to fully appreciate the layout, exhibits, and overall atmosphere at your own pace. Overall, this is an amazing experience for visitors of all ages—well worth the time and money, and a must-visit when in Phú Quốc.

Safari Phu Quoc is one of those places where you go in thinking “this will be nice” and leave thinking “okay, that was actually really fun” 😄 Beautiful surroundings, lots of attractions, and animals casually living their best lives while you drive around like a very curious guest. It’s well organized, spacious, and there’s always something interesting happening — from feeding times to unexpected “wow, that’s closer than I thought” moments. Great for families, animal lovers, and anyone who enjoys a mix of nature, fun, and light adventure without breaking a sweat. Verdict: A pretty place with plenty to see, lots to do, and more smiles than expected. Definitely worth a visit! 🦒🌿

The zoo was average, what you would expect from any zoo. The safari was unique and a fun experience. The bus is air-conditioned and you are able to get out of your seat to view and take photos of the animals if you wish. The bus drives through each separate enclosure and will drive slower/faster to help you get a good view of the animals. We were able to see giraffes, zebras, tigers, bears, lions, rhinos, and more from the window on the bus. The safari lasts about 20-30 minutes.

I felt like a happy child after visiting the safari zoo! One part of the park has spacious open enclosures for most animals where some of them can be fed with extra food you buy on site (unfortunately, it can run out). The main safari zone is fully dedicated to the animals, you explore it on a special bus. Buses run regularly, but there can be a 15-20 minute wait in a queue; there’s shade, fans, and water available nearby. Plan about 30 minutes for the bus tour.

The animals appear healthy and active, and the safari atmosphere gives you the impression of stepping into a miniature Serengeti right in Phú Quốc. One aspect that could be better is the tram service. While the tram is essential for exploring the safari zones, the waiting time can be quite long, especially during peak hours. Many visitors end up waiting in line for extended periods, which can dampen the overall experience. Improving the frequency and efficiency of tram operations would make the visit smoother and more enjoyable. From my personal point of view, Vinpearl Safari Phú Quốc is a must-visit attraction on the island, offering unforgettable encounters with wildlife. With some improvements to the tram service, it could easily become one of the most seamless and world-class safari experiences in Asia.

A moderate sized park with diverse wildlife exhibits. There is a bird show in the morning at 10:00 am and another one at 2:00 pm. I would recommend for you to reach 15 - 20 mins earlier at the amphitheater and settle at a good spot for the show. If you want to experience the show and record it find a spot at the center or if you want to get up-close with some hornbills the fly in from left and right top corner stairs of the amphitheater. The show showcased some amazing birds like rhino hornbill, great hornbill and ostriches. After the show there are lots of animal enclosures to explore. If you are with elderly people or infants you can opt the buggy service for 1,00,000 VND. But the buggy doesn't stop at the enclosures instead the just drive buy the enclosures so you cannot get a up-close encounter with the animals. At the end of the park there is a bus safari which goes through different gates which holds tigers, lions, bears, rhino, giraffes, zebra and many other herbivores. But the bus as well doesn't stop next to the animals for you to observe theme properly. They just drive by each gates without giving you a proper chance to observe the animals especially if there is a long queue at the bus station. Yes of course you have to wait in a long queue for your turn at the bus station unless you have a express pass. There is also a bird aviary and a giraffe restaurant where you can feed the giraffes. Overall a good place for kids and sub adults to enjoy up-close with various animals.

Run and get the ticket!!! This is definitely a must-do in Phu Quoc! I booked the combo ticket (entrance + zoo tram + F&B) through Klook. Let’s start with the staff- everyone was amazing and super friendly! They were so helpful and really went above and beyond. Some staff don’t speak much English, so learning a few Vietnamese phrases or using Google Translate will definitely make your visit smoother. When we took the bus to see the lions, zebras, and other animals, one of the staff asked me to do a quick web review (I think it’s only in Vietnamese, not 100% sure), and I got a food coupon for the elephants in return. We had so much fun feeding them! The place was super clean and enjoyable! We had such a great time exploring all the different areas of the zoo. However, the food at the Giraffe Restaurant was a bit meh, it was dry and not served hot, so I wasn’t a big fan. But honestly, the amazing view of the giraffes kind of made up for it! There are multiple buses to get you to the zoo and it is for free so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT :)

VinPearl Safari is a fun activity to do while in Phu Quoc. It takes a little while to get to from the city, but it is worth it. The park is split up into the regular zoo area, with a few animals you can feed/interact with, and the semi-wild safari. You can immediately notice the attention to detail and the care that is provided to the animals. It looks like they have a lot of space and activities in their pens that suit them specifically. They look taken care of and have freedom to roam around and socialize with other animals of their kind. You can feed the lemurs, giraffes and elephants, with lemurs being the most exciting in my opinion. The issue with the park is overcrowding. Too many people are allowed each day, and not everyone is respectful to the animals. Additionally, both the giraffe and elephants food ran out when we visited since they sold it all out before noon. The price of a regular ticket is also pretty steep for Vietnam standards, but if you compare it to some other country it isn’t as bad. The semi-wild safari is also an amazing experience. These animals are kept in even larger areas and are left to truly roam around. Even their eating habits are also replicated as best they can. Some animals also share large plots of land, like zebras, rhinos, antelopes etc. Overall, the safari is a great option for a day trip, better than regular amusement parks that are also available on the island.
