We arrived on time for our reservation and were greeted by a male host in a black suit who was cold, rude, and dismissive. He told us our reservation was not confirmed, even after we showed him our booking email. While he reluctantly checked availability, one of us asked to use the restroom, which he initially refused until we insisted. Another staff member eventually seated us, though there were several empty tables.
Our server was pleasant at first, but after we requested condiments (mayo, mustard, ketchup), she never returned to our table once the appetizers were served. To her credit, she seemed busy with other tables. We waited an unusually long time for our mains and finally asked another waitress, only to learn our order had been forgotten. When the dishes arrived an hour later, the food was overcooked, bland, and unsatisfying.
Throughout the evening, the same male host walked past our table giving unfriendly looks, never once checking on us or apologizing for the poor service. He ultimately presented the bill without a word of thanks, and no staff showed any courtesy as we left.
This experience unfortunately reinforced the cliché of indifferent Parisian service. With so many restaurants in Paris and beyond that actually value their guests, we recommend avoiding this one at all costs.
