Vintage Design Hotel Sax

The staff was very friendly. The gentleman who received us and the lady (Mariana) were so generous and caring. The food was good. Rooms were good. Best part was the location. We used to walk down to cross the Charles bridge at least 4 times a day from this Hotel. Loved our stay.

Fantastic location! Service was really good, the lady and gent that were there most of our stay were so lovely and super helpful. There was a different lady on the last day, she wasn’t so helpful and quite rude when asking about our Uber pick up location. |The rooms were good and spacious! |The breakfast was ok, just the seating arrangements were quite confined to a small area so felt quite cramped especially with 2 little kids. |Overall, we highly recommend!

Stayed three nights in Vintage Design Hotel Sax, for business and vacation combined. The rooms are nicely decorated and quite spacious! Staff is super friendly! We had a great time in Prague, also thanks to our stay in the hotel. Can highly recommend to others, esp. from a price/quality ratio.

So great service I haven’t seen! We were to wait a train till the evening, Hotel let us kept luggage till evening and we were able to drink free tea with cookies Moreover, we stayed for a week and were pleased by location of hotel where we could got shortly to all must-see-sightseeing-of-the-city Thanks!

What a great hotel. I loved the vintage memorabilia. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring Prague and access to the Airport. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied. On check-out the hotel offered a place to store bags and full use of the facilites which was a lovely touch. I will be staying here on my next return to Prague

Wonderfull stay! We usually do not write reviews, but now we have to. We booked superior top view room an it was just amazing! Two balconies with the stunning view on Prague Castle and prague roofs. Excelent breakfast, daily room service, very clean and friendly and helpfull staff. Afternoon free refreshments in lobby. We will come back, thank you!

Great location for great money right under the Prague Castle. The hotel has very nice design, breakfests are nice and plentyfull. The service is the lacking factor of the hotel. Sometimes they dont bring new towels and when they change the sheets we got dirty ones one time. But if you complain all issues are fixed and the staff is otherwise very helpfull and nice!

The hotel is interesting primarily for its design and the efforts of the staff to make your stay at this hotel enjoyable. You will find interesting designs everywhere, even in the elevator!! In the evening you can drink wonderful tasting mulled wine (included in the price), and cookies are waiting for you in your room. Everywhere is clean and beautiful. Of the minuses: cold floor in the bathroom, lack of slippers, lack of bathrobes, very simple although tasty breakfast, Tasteless coffee. A very quiet place, you will definitely get a good night's sleep here. I think this hotel is perfect if you are staying 1-2 nights.

What a wonderful hotel! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I adore Mariana! She took such good care of me. She made recommendations which were excellent and, when I asked, she made reservations as well. The breakfast was bountiful and tasty. There were tea and cookies available 24/7. I would absolutely stay here again!

Modern budget hotel with lots of colors and cool design. We booked a Deluxe room during March for about $80/night. Room amenities: - Free wifi and laptop in each room for guest use - Beautiful view of St. Nicholas Cathedral Hotel: - Retro mod style with lots of round shapes and bright colors - Free continental breakfast with lots of options including one hot item off of the menu (eggs, oatmeal, etc), assortment of fruits and veggies, cereal, hot buffet items- meats, smoked salmon (only on one morning), yogurts, cheeses, juices, coffee, tea - Public terrace patio to enjoy your breakfast or tea, overlooks the Prague Castle Location: - About a 10 minute walk from the west side of Charles Bridge (there is a hill and the roads are cobblestone, so this would not be recommended for those with issues walking or for those who only travel in high heels) - Safe and quiet location right past the US Embassy How to access from the Prague Rail Station: Take the subway to Malostranska on line A From there, you can either: - Walk to the hotel (about 20-30 mins, depending on how often you get lost). You will first follow the path of the tram to the station Malostranske Namesti and go past the Square with St. Nicholas Cathedral. - Or take the tram from Malostranska to Malostranske Namesti and then walk to the hotel (about 10 mins). Courtesy of the hotel: take tram (No. 12, 20 or 22) to station "Malostranske namesti". Go to Nerudova street, walk straight and at the first crossroads turn left onto Jansky vrsek street. Then turn right onto Janska street. Vintage Design Hotel Sax is located in Jansky Vrsek No. 3. There is one more way from tram station Malostranske Namesti to the hotel. You can walk along Karmelitska street to Na Trzisti Street. Go past the American Embassy and you will come directly to Vintage Design Hotel Sax.

This hotel is the bomb. Decor is great, breakfast is effing awesome, there is free afternoon tea, laptop in the room (although not really functioning lol), wonderful cleaning staff, DVD library, a TV channel that automatically switches to porn after midnight (WTF), and even my single room was extremely spacious and could have fit two people in it.
