Vintage Design Hotel Sax

My daughter and I stayed at the LH Vintage hotel for three nights. We paid extra for a room with a small balcony. The hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring the city on foot. It's quiet, clean and the view across the city is superb, the retro design is cool as well. Breakfast was included and it was a good standard and plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can't fault it, great value for money and I'd definitely stay here again.

Lo and behold, I think I’ve discovered one of the finest hotels in Prague! The staff members at reception and the breakfast are exceptionally attentive and kind, which made the atmosphere anything but stuffy. As a Catz alum (our college was designed by Jacobsen), I was blown away by the unique, sometimes eclectic design of the hotel itself. And each room (I stayed in three at different points of my trip!) was extremely distinct. From the delicious, very large breakfast to the free pastries, this hotel takes good care to sate your appetite. Oh, and the location, perhaps that was the best of all! Such a quiet neighborhood, filled with beautiful street after beautiful street.

The location and the view from the room are the best. 10 minutes walks from where we wanted to be, central. There is a garage near the hotel. Warm wine in the lobby and breakfast was a variety. The room is clean and well kept. The lobby ladies were friendly

This location is excellent close to everything we were looking to do, but just off path enough to say away from the insane noise and crowds. Rooms are great (by euro standards), breakfast is a huge bonus; excellent.

The hotel is situated very close to the castle and the Charles Bridge and in a very nice quiet location. The place is vibrant and comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel with the helpful, polite staff.|We would definitely go back.

Lovely unique hippy design hotel.|Very clean. |Large rooms|Great location, near all main attractions |Breakfast id give 3*s|The only negative is there was a n older lady a few mornings working in the breakfast restaurant and she was very dismissive and almost rude, not welcoming at all. When I asked her where the coffee cups were she just pointed with a grumpy look on her face. It would be nice to feel welcomed after a long flight , just saying

The staff was very friendly. The gentleman who received us and the lady (Mariana) were so generous and caring. The food was good. Rooms were good. Best part was the location. We used to walk down to cross the Charles bridge at least 4 times a day from this Hotel. Loved our stay.

What a wonderful hotel! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I adore Mariana! She took such good care of me. She made recommendations which were excellent and, when I asked, she made reservations as well. The breakfast was bountiful and tasty. There were tea and cookies available 24/7. I would absolutely stay here again!

Modern budget hotel with lots of colors and cool design. We booked a Deluxe room during March for about $80/night. Room amenities: - Free wifi and laptop in each room for guest use - Beautiful view of St. Nicholas Cathedral Hotel: - Retro mod style with lots of round shapes and bright colors - Free continental breakfast with lots of options including one hot item off of the menu (eggs, oatmeal, etc), assortment of fruits and veggies, cereal, hot buffet items- meats, smoked salmon (only on one morning), yogurts, cheeses, juices, coffee, tea - Public terrace patio to enjoy your breakfast or tea, overlooks the Prague Castle Location: - About a 10 minute walk from the west side of Charles Bridge (there is a hill and the roads are cobblestone, so this would not be recommended for those with issues walking or for those who only travel in high heels) - Safe and quiet location right past the US Embassy How to access from the Prague Rail Station: Take the subway to Malostranska on line A From there, you can either: - Walk to the hotel (about 20-30 mins, depending on how often you get lost). You will first follow the path of the tram to the station Malostranske Namesti and go past the Square with St. Nicholas Cathedral. - Or take the tram from Malostranska to Malostranske Namesti and then walk to the hotel (about 10 mins). Courtesy of the hotel: take tram (No. 12, 20 or 22) to station "Malostranske namesti". Go to Nerudova street, walk straight and at the first crossroads turn left onto Jansky vrsek street. Then turn right onto Janska street. Vintage Design Hotel Sax is located in Jansky Vrsek No. 3. There is one more way from tram station Malostranske Namesti to the hotel. You can walk along Karmelitska street to Na Trzisti Street. Go past the American Embassy and you will come directly to Vintage Design Hotel Sax.

This hotel is the bomb. Decor is great, breakfast is effing awesome, there is free afternoon tea, laptop in the room (although not really functioning lol), wonderful cleaning staff, DVD library, a TV channel that automatically switches to porn after midnight (WTF), and even my single room was extremely spacious and could have fit two people in it.
