Vintage Elkhart Lake - Wine Shop & Fine Foods

This business has been open for 6 years, and it continues to expand. Originally, there was just a shop for wine with a tasting bar. A second room with other merchandise was opened and an event area was added recently. When you buy six bottles of wine, a 10% discount is given. Usually, I expect to be gouged at resort area wine shops. Not here. The prices range from fair to how can this be cheaper than the warehouse liquor store we normally shop at. We left again with 6 bottles. The tasting bar offers small pours.

This place is awesome. Great selection of wine and bourbon. Super friendly help. Will be back everytime I am in Elkhart Lake.

We stopped by to get some wine but ended up buying stuff to make dinner as well. They sell local products and the lady was absolutely friendly. I asked her if there were any produce stores around the area and she went to her personal refrigerator and got me a bag of spinach from a local farm. I would definitely visit again

I visited Vintage Elkhart Lake multiple times when I was in the area! It's a great place to get a glass of wine (or two or three), because they have a Wine-o-Matic, which is a magical device that dispenses tastes or full glasses of wine from a selection in the machine. The way it works is that you tell the people behind the counter that you want to do the wine tasting, and then you add an amount of money onto a card. A small taste of wine might cost anywhere from $1 to $3, and a full glass might range from $3 to $6 or more, depending on the bottle. What I love about this system (the Wine-o-Matic) is that I can take my time, look at all of the options, process what I've looked at, and make a decision about what I want to drink without having to speak to anyone. This is a wine-loving introvert's dream! The lounge area where the Wine-o-Matic is located is very comfy -- there are couches and tables, as well as little nibbles available. I loved dispensing my wine into my glass, and then sitting back and enjoying the wine while relaxing in a comfortable and comfy room. The wine tasting room is a separate room from the rest of the store, so it was quiet while I was there, which I appreciated. Like I said, I visited Vintage a couple of times while I was in Elkhart Lake. One of the times, I visited to buy some local beer. They have individual cans, so you can create your own six-pack. They (of course) have Spotted Cow. There are also all kinds of gourmet food items, kitchen things and gifts. This is a really neat place to hang out or find a gift for the wine- or beer-loving person in your life.

Great local bottle shop with a carefully curated collection of wines, beers and spirits. They have a great selection of upscale packaged snacks to accompany your beverages or to assemble a nice host gift to bring to a party. We appreciated the NA selections as well! Staff are always helpful. The shop has a wine lounge on site, too.

I forgot to take photos, but this place was impressive! It's a wine shop, but has lots of other great specialty items, as well, including chocolates, cheeses, dressings, sauces, olive oils, pickled veggies, beer, spirits, etc. They also have a lounge where you can buy pours of wine from automatic dispensers and sit on comfy furniture to enjoy it. I highly recommend a stop when you're nearby. I bought a peanut butter banana dark chocolate bar and a bottle of locally made bacon and bourbon ketchup!

The nicest and coolest wine shop you will ever need to stop in! Jaclyn is a wine encyclopedia and always very pleasant and helpful. If and when you make to Elkhart lake do yourself a favor and stop in.

Stopped here for an afternoon tasting with girlfriends however the experience was mixed. Sitting at the bar was rather uncomfortable. The Somm wasn't as responsive to our inquiries about wine, request for food, etc. Strangely; the wine flights are poured individually in the same glass without a rinse in between. The selection and pricing were good. Hoping this was simply an off day. As a wine "shop" we'd rate it a 4, but as a wine tasting it was a 1.

Stopped in with my parents the other day for a wine flight as they don't do tastings in a traditional sense. Their flights consist of 3 different wines that you select and you get half a glass of each. I tried the Loveblock sav blanc, a pinot gris, and a rosé and really enjoyed all of them. The women behind the counter were both really nice and chatted to us about local food and what have you. It was a fun time and my parents and I really enjoyed ourselves - super cute atmosphere too!

Vintage just absolutely never disappoints. Besides having one of the few true Sommelier's in the world choosing the wines available to get, there is the perfect blend of foodie-friendly snacks, ambiance, and deliciousness at price points anyone can handle. Go immediately!

Vintage has an amazing selection of wines! I did the the Wine Club for six months, and I was always happy with the variety. She even hosts Wine & Canvas nights! Perfect for a Girls' Night Out :)

If you're looking for great wine or craft beer in Elkhart Lake...there really is no other option, but fortunately this one is amazing! Really great store with a fantastic selection and super nice/knowledgable owner. You can sit down at the small bar and have a local beer or glass of wine, or grab what you need to go. And there's a gelato shop in the same building!

This little resort town is lucky to have such a knowledgeable wine merchant. Jaclyn knows her wines and makes terrific suggestions for any budget. Her prices are reasonable and, in fact, often beat those charged by bigger stores in Milwaukee and Chicago. Discounts are available for purchases by the case. Vintage also offers wine flights for sale at a cozy tasting bar. If you're looking for a comfortable place to buy good wines at reasonable prices--without a snobby or pretentious attitude--Vintage fits the bill.
