Vintage Hôtel Brussels (Brussels, Belgium) 19 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Vintage Hotel is a stylish alternative to the ponderous corporate chains that swallow up business travelers and EU bureaucrats in Brussels’ European Quarter. Located a few metro stops away from the bustling administrative nexus, the Vintage’s charming retro-boutique ambience is a testament to the refreshingly personal vision of its energetic owners, Fabian and Isabelle Henrion." - Tablet Hotels

We had a lovely four night stay in a small double at Vintage Hotel. The rooms are quiet and the beds comfy. The staff are lovely and the hotel is in a great location with plenty of nice places to eat in the area, if you don't fancy the nice (and reasonable priced) hotel buffet breakfast. Only 20 mins from Brussels midi train station and not much further to the city centre. We'd definitely staying again. Thanks.

This is a charming hotel with a great atmosphere. The decor lives up to the name, with a vintage 70s vibe while having modern amenities in the room. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is great and at a wide range of times to suit whether you get up early or late. The hotel is situated on a back street, and is set back from the road, so there's almost no passing traffic and it's very quiet for good relaxing sleep. Will definitely stay again if I'm ever in Brussels!

Was taken aback when we first saw our room as it was tiny and we had booked a superior room. But went down to reception and they straightaway got us a bigger room. We got the cool one with a bike on the balcony. ||The room was nice, the bed was very comfy and the shower was great although you had to squeeze in/out as the door left little space to manoeuvre. A larger person wouldn't manage it. The real problem with the room was that it wasn't cleaned properly. All the lamps and light fittings had a lot of dust on them as did the inside of the cupboards so we had to clean them all before putting our clothes away.||Aside from that the staff were great and the room got cleaned well each day after that. They got extra hangers for us and pillows. Couldn't be more helpful.||The breakfast is a buffet one in the main foyer and it was excellent. Beautiful bread, croissants and pastries. A machine to do freshly boiler eggs and decent coffee from the machine. ||Its a great location too in a buzzing and nice area, great chocolate shop close by and bars and restaurants and shops, and only a few minutes walk from the tube too. ||Would we come back? 100% if the cleaning improves and we get the right room...

This is a great hotel where the personal make you feel very welcome. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and shops. |The rooms are clean and comfortable, without unnecessary luxury.|It is very calm and no nice at all, from surrounding streets.|And best of all is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere! I will certainly come back soon.

I stayed a couple of days with my wife, and we felt very comfortable at this hotel. The location is great — close to a subway station and not too far from the main attractions and the train station. The staff was really helpful and kind, and the hotel was quiet, which made it easy to rest. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Room was clean, comfortable beds, good shower. Staff were very lovely and helpful. |Location was a bit further out - about 25 mins walk, we ended up getting the bus back in the evening which took 15-20 mins. Booked when there was a sale on so defo great value.

The positives: absolutely amazing location, tons of cafes and restaurants around the local area. ||However, our room had dirty shoes left behind in it and the smell was awful - we had to air the room for hours to get rid of the scent. Furthermore, the walls are like paper - the small second bedroom in our room was unfortunately right next to someone who was constantly coughing all night and every time they went to the bathroom we were woken up or heard the whole series of events in there. It’s obviously an old hotel, so this is understandable, but it did make us think our room would’ve been heard by others as well.||The internet was basically unusable - I spent my whole trip topping up my 4G credit as I couldn’t do any work in the room without it. ||If you want the location this definitely is a good option, but the smelly room on arrival is really no excuse and thus the score.

I stayed 3 nights in the Airstream and wouldn't recommend a multi-night stay in this element of the hotel. It's a fun experience for one night but tight quarters for mor than one. For example there's no closet or armoire. The breakfast is a little meager but there are a number of coffee shops nearby.||However, the staff, both L & D provided exceptional service.
