Beautiful micro venue in Overlandpark! The owner was very sweet and accommodating to our event. This venue was perfect for a small bridal shower.

Had the best time at The Vintage House Celebrating our sweet friend & her baby boy. Definitely recommend this beautiful place! Wish I would have taken more pictures of just how amazing it was!!

The Vintage House is the most beautiful, cute, adorable, well equipped venue you will ever find. I booked this venue for my daughter's Graduation party. I booked it a year in advance if that tells you anything. The time I paid for was from 4-9 for about $550ish but paid for an extra hour (extra hour $75) and stayed until 10pm. I had balloons set up and a photographer too. You are allowed to bring food and liquor (which I did). You must arrive with an additional deposit in the event it is not cleaned to what is agreed on the contract but if you follow the rules you are good. Parking is great, right next to the patio. Also this place is equipped with everything and I mean everything; chalkboards, easels, command strips, plates, silverware, teacups, tables, cake stands, cupcake stands, serving platters, oven, microwave, fridge, etc. I bought several things that they had for my use already. The site gives a list but I don't think it's complete. Every guest that came to the party commented on The Vintage House and how beautiful it was. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Just look at how amazing it looks in the pictures ❤

Incredibly charming venue for small gatherings (family parties, showers, etc). Reasonably priced (a lot cheaper than typical wedding venues) and without the cold, sterile warehouse atmosphere. They provide almost everything from a practical standpoint (all the utensils, serving platter, dishware you could possibly need) so all you have to bring is yourself and food! Highly recommended.

This is an amazing venue! I hosted a simple baby shower for my sister at The Vintage House. I was amazed how furnished this lovely home was. There are dishes, silverware, serving plates/trays, cups, classes, mugs, drink dispensers, chalk board signs, plenty of chairs, and so much more! I brought a lot of my own things because I didn't want to have to wash a bunch of dishes but had I realized how many Furnishings there were I probably wouldn't have brought so much of my own. The house itself is absolutely perfect. Decorations are almost enough on their own and you don't have to add too much more to make it into whatever kind of party you're hosting. It definitely seats no more than 25-30 guests. 30 is snug and I feel like our 25 was pleasantly cozy. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, oven, fridge with freezer (minimal freezer space), sink (no dish washer), and nice island in the middle. There are 2 bathrooms and a beautiful outside area that is also decorated and maintained for events. Lauri was such a pleasure to meet with and she did an amazing job of answering all my questions. She was super supportive and offered up advise on where to place things based on her experience in the home. Overall, perfect venue for our occasion. I hope to come back!!

Vintage House was the perfect setting for our wedding! Lauri was there the whole time and was an amazing host. I cannot recommend Vintage House enough for all of your event needs!

Super cute space for many events. Loved the atmosphere. The space would be beautiful at night with the way the outside/lights are set up. It's an affordable place and the staff gets back to you quick. They were even able to accommodate us last minute.

Cute little venue. It was perfect for the bridal shower I attended. It had indoor and outdoor space available for activities.

We rented this darling of a place for my mother's 60th birthday celebration. It was absolutely perfect and when I say you don't need to bring ANYTHING?! Everything you need is right there in the house! (I suggest bringing a bag of ice and napkins!) This place is charming, homey, and the guests loved it! The backyard area is a wonderful expansion of the house with hanging lights and furniture if you want to eat outside. We will definitely be using Vintage House again!!

Rented The Vintage House for a Bridal Shower this past weekend and it could not have been any better for the price! The Vintage House provides everything you could need for hosting a party; glassware, utensils, flatware, serving platters, drink dispensers, and a full kitchen! There is plenty of seating in the 3 main rooms for guests and the decor is absolutely adorable. Lauri has everything so well organized and meets her guest at the venue before "checking in". The space can be rented either the entire day or for 1 of the 2 shifts (we rented 3pm-8pm). I would highly recommend this space for small parties in the Overland Park area!

Went here for a friend's bridal shower and we were blown away by the place! Every corner has little odds and ends in a shabby chic style, making it the perfect backdrop for pictures! There are several areas, a couple living spaces, and a dining space, that you can spread your party out in. There's a kitchen and bathroom, so you can cook there, chill drinks, etc. I recommend bringing everything you need to serve your guests, just in case.

I had my granddaughters engagement/grad school graduation party there last weekend. Could not be happier with the available space outdoors and the lighting and amenities. Inside set up was wonderful with dishes, seating and table space. I would highly recommend The Vintage House to anyone needing a venue !!!

Hosted my sisters baby shower at the Vintage House yesterday and it was perfect. The venue is beautiful and all the available dish-ware and decor helps to make all the details perfect. This is an absolute perfect venue for any occasion. The owners couldn't have made the experience better either.

This is an adorable, century-old cottage located practically in downtown Overland Park. It is decorated in a sweet, French country style with plenty of feminine, vintage touches. It cannot be beat for a girls night, a shower or a book club meeting. It is VERY inexpensive to rent for events and as a B&B.

I used The Vintage House for my sister's bridal shower and it was absolutely amazing. Almost everything was provided to us. The decor was stunning and I wish I could live there! The guests loved every little touch. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I hosted a beautiful Alice in Wonderland themed Bridal Shower for my daughter. the Vintage House was a perfect venue, and everyone that attended loved the shabby chic decorations! We had an afternoon tea and used all the serving trays, tea cups etc. It turned out fantastic!

We rented the Vintage House this past weekend for a baby shower. It could not have been a better place. Lauri was extremely helpful and showed us all of the amenities of the home and made some suggestions of things that worked well for previous party host's at the Vintage House. We had 25 people in attendance and served a beautiful brunch and everyone complimented the venue. Thank you!!!!!

This darling house is perfect for a party, tea or shower. We comfortably fit 30 people into it for a baby shower, and while there was a little wrangling to make it possible for all guests to see the mama-to-be open her gifts, we made it work. Both the interior and exterior are absolutely charming, and it made planning so much easier to know that not only did we not need to decorate for the baby shower, we didn't even need to bring serving pieces, dishes or silverware, as the house comes equipped with everything you need! The owner is so wonderful to work with, and we couldn't have been happier.

This little house was just perfect for my sister's Bridal Shower. For any classy lady, this is the place to be for any party. They already have the dishes, vases, silverware, and decoration for the most part. All you have to do is bring your flowers, food, and any other decorations you want to add. I had found the perfect idea for favors by finding old china teacups at thrift stores and making them into scented candles. They were perfect placed around this cute little house. I like that they also have linens and will set up tables for you outside. It's probably the best value and least amount of work for the cost, which was affordable. If you have a few people working together for food/drink/flowers, you can pull off about any event. They only expect you to leave the dishes clean and put away when you leave. Lauri was great with communication, which is key for me!

I rented The Vintage House to host a bridal brunch for my new sister-in-law. I can't imagine a more perfect venue for our event! The space provided a cozy and quaint feel for our 15 person meal. Lauri arranged two long tables and one round table for the place settings, which worked great. We were able to display our food beautifully with the well-stocked kitchen of plates, platters, stands, and dessert bowls. With the house already filled with gorgeous antiques and décor, all we brought in additionally were some pictures frames, pumpkins, and banners (which were easy to hang on the hooks already in the house.) We had forgotten about ice, but thankfully Lauri had a bag on hand and ready to go! Every single person that walked through the door looked around and commented on how lovely the house was. Lauri was helpful and so easy to work with, and the rental fee is very reasonable. I highly recommend this space for your next event - you won't be disappointed.
