Vintage on Venice

Cool little shop with a great (and varied) selection. I liked that there were a wide range of prices- felt like “something for everyone” (or anyone). Staff were friendly. Lots of stuff on sale when I was there.

I Follow the shop on instagram and they post so many nice things that I really had to go there when finally in the area all the way from Norway. The shop is very well structured and each item picked carefully by the owner. The owner is very nice and helpful. She gave me a lot of good advice on eating in the area ++. The things she sell are typically midcentury and hubby bought a vintage money clip at 12 $. The prices are ok, as this is not a thrift store but a vintage store. She has done the thrifting for us, and I am glad because I never find anything good at those places. Thus, I go here instead. Will come back!

This was a really cool shop, with vintage variety in clothing, art, and all sorts of other items. Even though most items weren't in my price range, they didnt seem to be priced too extravagantly for what you were getting. Everything is organized, but still set up so that its fun to dive in and search for cool items someone else might've missed. My favorite part was that they have several different types of items for under $5 for sale that are still really cool like vintage poker chips, post cards, and matchbooks. It just made it easy to find something cool and still affordable.

Lovely store with a lovely owner, Marty. I went seeking some furniture items, which there was not much of, and left with a couple vintage clothing pieces. I really wanted to love this place. For a vintage shop they aren't too big on actual designer items and they are overpriced. There was a cute purple purse they wanted $48 for because it might be vintage Fendi- I checked- it wasn't- and they did not offer to negotiate which means they will probably still try to sell it at that price. I found an Ansel Adams book but they wanted $30 for that? That's half price too! Just not really what I was expecting. I will say, they do use their space well and have a good selection of vintage overalls at the moment just nothing I found interesting except Cary Grant donated a dope painting to the MoPhil and they had that on a card I paid $3; it was probably taken from the museum for free. It's a small business though, so I'll be back to check another time.

Super friendly staff and a great selection of vintage and non-vintage items. Even if you don't wind up purchasing anything, some of the old postcards, clothing, and other accessories are cool to see.

Nicely curated collection of items at affordable prices. If you really like something, you can probably afford it. No need to leave heartbroken falling in love with something you can't have. It's more fun shopping when you know you'll be able to buy something. Maybe I just got lucky, but I found so many things I wanted. I whittled it down to a wall hanging and a 50's dress that fit like it was made for me.

Amazing vintage / Antique shop in the neighborhood. My friend just got some really cute vintage Christmas ornaments from VOV and the whole store is very organize and inviting. The best time to go is after (or before) your trip to Mar Vista Farmer Market. Great, friendly casual service, there's no pushy sales technique but when we got questions, Marti is very very helpful and informative. Come support the local shop! They are close Mon and Tuesday. Street parking.

We feel incredibly lucky to have this sweet shop in our backyard, with a fantastic selection of home goods, art, dresses, jewelry, and so much more. The store is carefully curated and organized, and the owner is always helpful and happy to chat.

What an adorable vintage shop! I discovered this precious little time machine while at the Farmer's Market and I am so giddy because shops like this with such great stuff at decent, affordable prices are really hard to find. What floored me was how detailed and inviting each display is. The owner really has a creative flair and you can tell she treasures and appreciates her treasures and wants to show them off in their best light. She was so friendly and talked to me about some of the pieces which is always fun...finding out the history of certain objects of interest. There was a little cabinet full of porcelain doll heads that made me chuckle. Lots of eye candy and other cool stuff. I'll definitely be back.

Friendly, personable folks who work here and a nicely curated selection of items, including ceramics, clothing, jewelry, pictures, frames, and more. Most consignment, thrift, and vintage stores are rather messy and hodge-podge, but this one is well-edited. Prices are reasonable as well.

Great finds for great prices. They are super nice and very specific in the collection. You'll find no junk here. I feel that the attention to detail is what makes the store. Bring coins for the meters and bring more than you think because you will spend more time in here than expected.

GEMS! I live in the area so I frequent the shop a lot. With each visit I've been pleasantly surprised with something unique, be it a rad dress from the 1970's or a Bianca Jagger-esque purse of my dreams! Owner is friendly and prices are decent.

Amazing store. Just bought beautiful vintage knit wool sweater from Scotland. This place is full of awesome, unique pieces across the board. Clothes, furniture, jewelry, home decor. Really good prices and owner was super friendly. Refreshing.

Really disappointed after returning to shop here for something I saw earlier. I've purchased here before, and was shocked at the lack of customer consideration and attention. Woman preferred to talk to friend about her luggage ordeal and religious sister-in-law than attend to me.
