Vinzenzmurr Metzgerei - München - Maxvorstadt

I’ve gone to this location twice on our vacation to Munich. I was craving a bratwurst one day so it was perfect to satisfy such craving. A bratwurst on bread costs less than €5 which is a good price for this area. I read about their Schweinsbraten Semmel (roasted pork belly and sauerkraut sandwich) so I wanted to try that before we fly home. That is also really tasty. Got mine with some mustard. It was a filling and inexpensive dinner. That one costs about €5.40. Their English is limited so just do your best to say the name of the item you want or point to it. They usually wrap it up for you. You pay as you get your item. I’m sure they take cash but I’ve used a credit card both times. This location is more of a grab and go deal so keep that in mind.

Just transiting Munich for 2 hours and was keen on getting one of the Bavarian Weisswurst… Found this gem of local delicacies In the main railway station- Service was fantastic and beyond (knowing that it’s my only chance to taste this in Germany the lovely waiter offered to make me a fresh Weißwurst even if was not on the menu!!! And it was by far the best Weißwurst I’ve ever had in my life!). Great variety of food, Fresh salads, including the traditional Kartoffelsakat… And excellent coffee. What more can we wish for? Super thumbs up for Vinzenzmurr from a very happy customer!

Got two pork knuckles and a pork belly sandwich. The pork knuckle was awesome and did not dissapoint. And the sandwich? Even better. The price was also good value for what I got, and the size of the meat was very filling. Will go here again sometime when I return to Munich.

Wanted to get a bratwurst and prayers were answered when I saw this place in the train station. Half butcher half food service, this had a pretty straightforward menu. I ordered a red bratwurst sandwich with mustard and a Leberkas sandwich as well. Both were really good but I really liked the bratwurst. I liked it so much that I even came here before I left the city. This time I ordered a white bratwurst sandwich with mustard and a side of potato salad. Employees were really helpful and had a nice sense of humor! Highly recommend!

All their products are tasty and fresh looking. The staff is helpful and polite. A little problem to communicate in English 😉 but everything went fine. Like the fact it is an old German family business.

👍👍👍if you want a roast pork this is one of the good food to get them without breaking the bank. It’s just that they don’t know how to cook the rice properly.

Every time I‘m at the munich main station I go and grab a Leberkäse-Semmel in this shop. The service is always super friendly and fast, the food always tasty and never disappoints plus the price is fair. I definitely recommend 10/10

This small restaurant is located in the underground section of the main train station in Munich. Usually I would run a mile if someone suggested a restaurant in a metro station, but this looked clean and fresh, and there was a long line of people, so I thought I would give it a go, and I was not disappointed. The food is displayed at a counter, and it is served in front of you, you pick what you want, and there is a large selection with many traditional Bavarian options. I went for a slab of pork with potatoes smothered in bacon and some sauerkraut. The plate is then weighed, you pay, and then eat. The price is very reasonable. My large plate cost around 10 euros and was very flavourful. I was very impressed and next time I am in Munich I will certainly go back. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

I forgot the name of the sausage I tried, but it was sooo good! Legit one of my favorite food-things of the entire trip. It had an amazing snap & when I took this bite, and the texture inside was like tartare

Friendly staff, and great selection... Food is also great. Try the local bevarian "meatloaf" sandwich with some mustard! Great stuff.
