Where to Stay in Lisbon When You Visit (Updated 2025)

"I enjoyed the contemporary-art-filled vibe here; despite the business-style name, the comfortable rooms and suites are family-friendly and offer lovely views of the river and/or park." - Matthew Kepnes

Great hotel. 15 minutes away from the airport. Very good breakfast choices. Good AC on the room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Safe. No iron provided. Not permitted. One complimentary bottle of water. Small TV and refrigerator. Good elevators. Okay bar area. Near the Park of the Nations and the Telecabine Lisboa|Cable car. Lot of restaurants near by and the big Vasco Da Gama Shopping Center.

Another night at another hotel during Portugal visit. Hotel is really an art hotel with wall paintings and murals all around. First time in life saw such a huge gallery for various rooms . Reception and check in was smooth so the check out at 5.00 am. They were kind enough to provide vegeterian packed breakfast at early hours . Rooms are also cozy with varied toiletries. Being a short stay no time to taste their food. We explored to get room service but all being QR based it was not clear if we would get vegetarian food. Also they do not have swimming pool.

My girlfriend and I travel a lot, but we've never experienced anything like this before. The room was actually quite nice, with beautiful windows – but that’s about where the positives end. The bathroom: the door couldn’t be closed (not joking – it was just broken). The shower barely worked – it was either scalding hot or ice cold, with nothing in between. The shower door was leaking, and whenever we tried to take a shower, the whole bathroom ended up flooded. And this in a so-called 4-star hotel 😄. Even though we specifically requested a room with a double bed, we got exactly the opposite. What can you do? I guess things like this happen when the hotel is fully booked. (At least the beds could be pushed together – and honestly, one bed would have been enough for us.) The room itself showed clear signs of wear and tear, and there were practically no seating options in the outdoor area. To sum it up: I really don’t have high standards when it comes to hotels – I’m on my way to the Boom Festival and will be camping there for ten days. But what we were offered here is nothing short of a rip-off. In Germany, this wouldn’t even qualify as a 2-star hotel. On top of that, the location is totally unremarkable – it takes at least 20 minutes by car every time to reach the nicer parts of town. We definitely miss our much cheaper Airbnb in the old town and are glad we're only staying at this hotel for a short time. I’ll definitely avoid this hotel chain in the future – and I recommend others do the same. That said, I’d like to end on a positive note: the rooms were clean, the housekeeping was good, and the staff was friendly – even though we only had brief interactions at check-in.

Was a little disappointed upon arrival as most of the underground carpark lighting didn’t work and made the carpark appear unsafe. Some of the carpark elevators also not working and were out of action. Room was fine with great views however bathroom needs modernisation desperately with a little mould found in some corners. Waiting for elevators in the morning was frustrating as one was constantly stuck on Level 14 and the other 2 were constantly full of guests and their luggage going up and down. Had to use stairs from Level 9 to reception. I’d suggest paying a little more for a better hotel and won’t be staying here in future.

Money thirsty attitude. Clients are just numbers. Made a booking at this hotel while at the airport abiut to check in. Unfortunately I couldn't board the flight and tried to cancel my reservation. No more than 20 minutes passed since the reservation was made. And the hotel blatantly refused to acomodate the exceptional circumstances I was in even after booking.com themselves approached them. This is one client they will never ever have again. I rather sleep in the street.

Average hotel. Air conditioning doesn't work in the rooms. If you ask for a change they say it's fully booked. Breakfast spread good. Location is good with shopping areas and bus metro and railway station nearby

We were disappointed with this hotel. Even though it is new-ish and very well located in Parque das Nações it feels and looks very dated. For an executive hotel they seriously lack wall sockets. So we had to unplug both bedside lamps to be able to charge our mobile phones. Now imagine if we had laptops, tablets and more tech. Also the toilet has a bathtub, that is so dated, a walk-in shower is much better and more modern. We had breakfast included, but we only went in on the 1st day. They had a lot of nothing, if you catch my drift. Some of the bread was stale. The fruit selection was ridiculously small and oxidised. The cold cuts and cheese selections was miserably small. All coffee machines were notoriously difficult to operate. And even though I tried to get a cappuccino in all machines, somehow they served me a chocaccino every time! I gave up and tried plain coffee. The worst I have ever drank!

The view over the bay is lovely and it is great that one can open the window even on the 13th floor. Overall though, the hotel has seen better days. The room is spacious, but everything is either a little dirty (like the headboard of the bed - very from generations of people leaning their heads against it) or strangely disfunctional, like the reception or the breakfast room. Talking of breakfast, there is no need to worry too much about the room. I came at different times to breakfast during the week and found the buffet literally empty. If the hotel is at full capacity, it’s just not enough space or food there. How they got four stars is puzzling but then I know it’s more about hairdryers than comfort or service.
