I came in for lunch by chance as it has great views of fortress and across the coast of the mountains. I opted for the fried fish and although it was on its own it was very filling as it was a large portion. Before they brought me out a starter of some bread and some sauce which was also excellent

The pleasant surprise of the city, a very beautiful restaurant in an amazing location in Ierapetra. What more could one ask for than to enjoy fresh fish with a view of the sea and the Kales Fortress? Incredible seafood flavors and more, dishes that I encountered for the first time here, with top-quality ingredients and impeccable service. Great restaurant, good food with lovely view of the old city wall and the water. The people were also very lovely. We got a complementary dessert. All food tasted great! Would highly recommend if you visit Ierapetra.

The Bipa Restaurant is in my experience the most elegant restaurant visited in this city. The service is extremely good. All wateriest are wonderful, kind and caring. The food is the best food I ever taste in Crete. We came back for dinner after having had an amazing lunch. I highly recommend…for me this place is a must visit. Good value for money.

Recommended by Lonely Planet we had lunch there in September (Lonely P. can be a hit and miss). The portions were just right for lunch. Our fish and seafood were beautifully cooked (great skewers). We loved it so much we came back for a 2nd lunch a few days later. The seating outside overlooking the bay is breathtaking and calming.

We had the best lunch here with our friends coming from Heraklion to meet us in Ierapetra and the food as well as the beverages were absolutely fantastic! The terrace also added to the atmosphere and the experience as a whole. We had the carpaccio of the fresh catch from that day, the branzino, the shrimp salad and the shrimp risoni, some raki, and some beers of which two of them were craft beers, very tasty. We couldn’t have been more happy with our choice!
