Virgin Voyages’ the Beach Club at Bimini

What a way to end a perfect cruise week but a place that had everything. See you all again in 4 months. Two great pools surrounded by the same amenities on the Scarlet Lady. There are plenty of chairs around the pools as well as the beach.

My mom and I had a great time lounging by the pool! My mom uses a wheelchair and, while it was a little confusing at times figuring out which path to take (since the chair can't cut through sand between paths) she was able to get to all the necessary spaces (changing room/bathroom, poolside, bar, food tent) and they even had a mat down so she could go out a little on the beach (not too far, see pic). The accessible changing room/bathroom left a little to be desired because the toilet seat was broken and that was a major safety hazard for someone with limited mobility, but the space was a decent size and easy to get to. We opted for the quieter of the 2 pools (on the left from entry) and were able to get 2 chairs in the pool with little trouble. We did go earlier in the day, around 11am, rather than the afternoon during the pool party. Drinks were higher price than on the ship, so plan for that.

The beach itself is nice and so was the pool but definitely plan to get there early if you desire chairs and umbrella. We got there around 1045am and almost all were occupied. Food provided for cruisers at the beach club was not edible so I’d plan on eating onboard or purchasing food at one of the little cafes. Shopping area is extremely limited at the beach club, not what you would expect at a traditional cruise port.

It's very nice. The beach is very pretty, but the reason 4 stars it's because one they charge way too much for their cabanas, and they are poorly situated. 2, the water got shuttles while we were there, but people were still cooking, still serving drinks, and there was no running order to clean anything that was very concerning and I immediately left. I will go back though

This is an amazing club that belongs to Virgin ... They have the beach and they have pools... The food provided was so delicious and we had a pool party. Great music with a DJ...we really had a great time. I will come back to take a cruise that stops in Bimini. Also we were provided free transportation from the ship to here by a small running train that stopped in a mall and final stop in the Club. We had an amazing time.

A vibrant pool party or a serene beach day, the choice is yours. The entertainment features enjoyable activities and games. For groups of 4-6, booking a cabana is recommended as the setting fills up quickly. Ours included complimentary drinks and a personal butler. The food was delightful, and the view was breathtaking. Relaxing on the beach with a margarita in hand is unparalleled.

Virgin does it best! This place was super clean and very well put together. The Virgin staff does an amazing job. I would highly recommend booking a cruise with virgin and going to this beach club! Everything from drinks to food to bathrooms and towels. Everything was provided!

Nice beach gets very crowded. Food is different, not a big variety but good. Our server wasn't good at all. The cabanas are not worth paying for. Bathrooms aren't so great. Lots of activity going on. A lot of loungers, all different kinds. It's a fun place for a day.
