Virginia House Bed & Breakfast

This small B&B is really a gem. Our hosts, Mike and Barbara are, in my opinion, the very perfect hosts. The rooms we had (we had one, our friends another) were the cleanest I have ever stayed at, and I spend many nights every year in four and five star hotels over the world. Absolutely spotless. Comfortable bed and a nice shower. |The breakfast is something not to miss. Homemade granola, fruits and juices amongst other delicacies. Barbara also cooked us a full English breakfast, as well as other options. All just perfect. Mike served the table, a nice host (as they both are), observant to our needs and really pleasant landlord. |I do recommend this to all people that expect high standards at fair price.

I had one of the best stays at Virginia House Bed and Breakfast. Great location, wonderful host ( Barbra). Home made cookies and home made Granola! |This is attention to detail. Plus the comfort of the room, and all the little extra details, did not go unappreciated. This place is run with love and passion. Highly recomended.

Mike and Barbara were so welcoming. Stunning b and b, our room was beautifully decorated and provided everything we needed, attention to detail second to none, including variety of teas and coffees and not forgetting the delicious shortbread biscuits.|As for the breakfast , amazing! Felt like we came as strangers and left as friends.

Room: Nicely decorated and equipped and very clean. High quality furnishings/bathroom consumables and you even get a bath robe. Coffee maker and some very nice home made shortbread.||Breakfast: Cooked to order and VERY good with a nice selection of things to choose from. I had the excellent Full English but everything else looked great as well||Overall: Bed and Breakfast of a VERY high standard. Proprietors Mike and Barbara are very nice too and can't do enough for you.

I stayed here with my mum and bridesmaids the night before my wedding, and then the night after the wedding with my new husband. It was the perfect choice and we were so well looked after. The hosts were friendly and they do a fab job, being flexible with check in times and even having to let us in in the middle of the night when we had left our key with a bridesmaid! (So sorry!!) The breakfast was absolutely incredible, my husband said it was the best bacon he’s ever had, and that’s saying something! The rooms were clean and well-equipped and we had robes and lovely towels. We were provided with champagne flutes for our Prosecco on the morning of the wedding which was really sweet and everything was treated as though it wasn’t too much trouble, even though we were probably tricky, though well-meaning guests - also sorry for setting off the alarm with our dress steamer! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely recommend Virginia House.

This is undoubtedly one of the best BandB’s we have stayed in. Mike and Barbara run a super slick operation, and it is all done with genuine warmth and a smile. Our room was So tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable, with plump pillows and beautiful white cotton bed linen. The espresso coffee machine was a welcome addition, so too the homemade shortbread biscuits. There was an overwhelming choice of hot food at breakfast, as well as a variety of yoghurts and fresh fruit. It was all delicious. How I wish we had stayed an additional night or two!

Perfect location. |Perfect hosts who went out of their way to meet every requirement. |Room was immaculate. |Breakfast was delicious.||We had a wonderful large room (No. 1) with soft towels, dressing gown. Fresh ground coffee making and tea making facilities. |Really comfortable bed and pillows.

Mike and Barbara are truly the perfect hosts of this gem of a B&B. My fiance' and I travelled from London and stayed at Virginia House while exploring the Cotswolds. Our stay was truly perfect: from check-in to breakfast, everything was impeccable. If you are worried about travelling during these unprecedented times and spending a night somewhere that is not your home, this is the place to stay. Mike and Barbara have pulled all of the stops and went above and beyond what is required to make your stay as pleasant and as safe as possible. The room was spotless and every little touch/detail throughout the stay will make you feel at home (well, better than home!!). I also need to mention the breakfast was beyond delicious!Thank you both for your kind hospitality and for making our stay truly special!
