Visconti's Italian Restaurant

We came for our anniversary/Valentine’s Day dinner and Visconti’s treated us like royalty. John, our server, was knowledgeable, quick, and polite. His recommendations made the meal all the more enjoyable. We were seated at table 13, which provides a wonderful view of Front Street. So as we waited the very short time for our food, we could talk and people watch. We both got the caprese salads, which were flavorful and robust. They also drizzled the balsamic so that it didn’t overpower the dish, which I truly was thankful for. I had the rabbit which was tremendous! It was hearty and flavorful! My spouse had the cannelloni, which she remarked how flavorful it was and that the sausage added a slight kick, but very delicious. Finally we had the vanilla gelato which was heavenly. This was truly a great place to eat for all reasons, but even more for special occasions. The truly great part for me was they serve Diet Pepsi which makes it a must eat! This will be a place we bring our guests to, so they can experience Leavenworth hospitality first hand!

Visconti’s Italian Restaurant in Leavenworth is always a solid choice, and this visit absolutely delivered. We enjoyed three cocktails, shared a classic Caesar salad with anchovies, a side of fresh-baked bread with EVOO, and split the spaghetti with prawns and rabbit ragù. The tab was $152 for 3 people, not including tip. Pretty afordable. We made an online reservation and requested a quiet table, which we really appreciated given the large holiday parties dining that evening. Our waitress, Sierra, was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful with menu selections, making the experience feel easy and un-rushed. Delicious food, great service, and thoughtful attention to detail—we would definitely go back!

Good service except hubby waited too long for his beer. Tragic. We weren't offered bread, no big deal at all, except when you see neighboring table gets it. My pasta was fabulous which was a hybrid of two different pastas. Cheese sauce from one on top of pasta with Prawns and veggies. It was so yummy. Hubby jad the rabbit ragu and said it was very good.

We have 3 antipastos including nuts, olives and dates which were delish. I had the minestrone and beet salad when chicken which was delish. I also got to sample my husband and sisters pasta dishes which were both delish. It was a nice break from heavy German food.

hostess is very wonderful food size is smaller than american servings, fills you up and not feel too full.. food taste good atmosphere is ok bit old could use some upgrades but maybe this is their way of keeping that old bavarian german town feel. Super cold 🥶 right now January 25th dress accordingly.

We tried this place while visiting, and it was outstanding — top-quality food and service from start to finish. We ordered the Lobster Linguine, the halibut special, and the pork chop, and all three dishes were exceptional. I’m not usually a big pork chop fan, but this was one of the best I’ve ever had. I also tried their mezcal hibiscus margarita, which was excellent. Service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend!

The waitress was Asia, very attentive and friendly. We ordered the bruschetta and wow, it was incredibly delicious. The lasagna was also excellent, and the pasta with chicken was very good. Everything was excellent overall, including the service and the pleasant atmosphere.

The bartender Asia was delightfully authentic and personable. The food was beyond delicious, made me want to fall into the best rem sleep of my life, what a great date night spot. 🤌

Decided to have dinner here with the wife while staying at the Posthotel and it was super delicious! Quality and quantity which is super hard to believe still exists nowadays with all this inflation. We came in around 6pm on a busy fathers day weekend and they were able to get us in after asking if we had a reservation which we didn't so we're thankful for that, So big tip for anyone reading this is to make one ahead of time! We were seated at the bar for a better chance to get food without reservations which was nice because it was away from the main dining room an we had the little bar area to ourselves. We got some cocktails to help relax after a long drive and walking around which were tasty but sadly cannot remember the names. Finally decided on food! I ordered the Pork Chop which is AMAZING! A thick chop wrapped in prosciutto and seared crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked medium in the inside! It was heaven! Served on some creamy cheesy rice I wanna say but I'm not 100% it doesn't say on menu but it was so divine paired with the chop. My better half ordered the Wild Ocean Prawns and that dish was equally delicious ! Prawns were big and juicy pared with the lemon basil butter and pasta worked out well together. Everything came out looking great with the presentation to feed the eyes before the taste buds had a chance to indulge in deliciousness. This restaurant definitely delivered even without a reservation they kept everything top notch and without a hiccup. While waiting you can hear the kitchen chugging away with communication and servers all marching to the same beat, it was like clock work. From our point of view it looked greatly managed and everything that night was on point which is a great first impression so cheers to the team at Viscontis. Highly recommend to anyone who is in town or passing by! You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in for a quick birthday dinner with coworkers while staying at the Sleeping Lady up the street. Building doesn't look much outside and inside is a little dated - decent-sized bar separated from the dining room. Hostess greeted us and showed us to our table. Our service for the night - Sierra - was round promptly, we got a couple of great cocktails from the bar while we waited on a co-worker who joined us a few minutes later. The menu was simple and had covered most bases and classics, couple of specials that night too. Sierra was spot on with recommendations - on appetizers, tasty meat platter and great cheeses, just the right amount. Bread service was fresh and very appealing. We all had a variety of entree dishes. Food quality was good, came out quickly. I had the bolognese gnocchi - delicious flavourful meaty ragu, cooked perfectly, just the right size - paired great with the Cab Sauv that I'd brought. A little dessert, and decent coffee finished a good night, and great food/bev/service. Price point was Leavenworth "middle of the road". Thanks Visconti team!

Extremely solid happy hour! Great prices, Italian selection, nice digs! Don't sleep on the olive oil dip people! Maybe the best one I've ever had with plenty of fresh accoutrements! We sat on the balcony on the third floor (highly recommend) where the service was perfect and the Mountain Views plentiful! There is a wonderful happy hour menu of options with burrata and prosciutto, arancini, Caesar salad, carbonara and dates with bacon and Gorgonzola. Great prices and communing with friends right in the middle of town. Highly recommend!

Our meal was good but not exceptional. My wife had the cannelloni and neither of us cared for the sausage inside. It was a bit too spicy for both of us. Service was great. I'm sorry to say I can't remember what I had. It was good but not amazing.

Big and spacious restaurant towards the end of Front St. If you need a place to go to right away this place will quickly seat you. We were promptly sat in the bar and were quickly served water, with bread and oil. The bread with the oil was really good. I had ordered the Spaghetti with prawns and that was ok. Everything was cooked perfectly but there wasn't much taste to it. The prices were pretty high in comparison to many of the places around as well.

Visconti's is one of our favorite restaurants in Leavenworth, WA. The food is delicious and top quality!! The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent!! The service is impeccable !! We highly recommend this restaurant for a date night with your spouse. We had Holly as a waitress. She gave us excellent service!! You need to make your reservation early as it can be busy. This place has a great filet mignon. And their wine selection is nice too. The service was also great. The only issue was that is was hot as hell upstairs where we sat. I don't know if their ac was broke or what? But I would sit downstairs.

Really delicious dinner. Slight delay in seating while they figured out where to put me. Food came out quickly and was very flavorful. A good dinner. Little spendy $37 for 1 person with no apps or dessert.

What's up Yelpies!!!! When you drop into Leavenworth and want some authentic Italian food. This is the SPOT !!!! The service is on point and the food is simply amazing..

Best. Gluten-free pasta. I. Have. Ever. Had. Hands down! The absolute best. Pricey but so delicious!! My partner and I split the chicken and mushroom Alfredo with GF noodles, the staff was kind to pre-split the entree beforehand. We both had drinks the Sicilian sipper and hot buttered rum, neither of us enjoyed the drinks and quite pricey as well ($13-18 per drink). Pasta was ~$24 with an extra $4 for gluten free pasta. They make the pasta in house, and it's corn based. I wish I could've bought some! Our server was wonderful, attentive, and seasoned. No wait to be seated, fast service. Cozy environment with views of Christmas lights. We split the sorbet for dessert, it was okay-nothing too special the panna flavor was much better than the spumoni. We demolished our dinner before we could take photos.

The service was super friendly. The Bruschetta was honestly terrible. Very soggy break likely from the tomato mixture. I should have sent back, but my husband wouldn't let me. I got the gnocchi which was average, vegetables overdone and my dish was cold. My husband had a special which was unique. This restaurant has a nice ambiance, decorated for Christmas. Friendly staff, and ability to make reservations were huge pluses. The food was not great, so unfortunately we will not be going back. Hopefully we had just a off experience! And hopefully it is wonderful for everyone else.

Really enjoyed dining at Visconti's. Food was superb and ambiance delightful. We came to see Leavenworth Summer Theater and this was a good choice for downtown Leavenworth.

More like 4.5. Visited Leavenworth for one night and needed a place to eat dinner, and the family chose Italian. We were ate seated right away. The table was upstairs. The food was delicious. Prices are high, but prices are high everywhere. It's worth giving it a try if you're in town.

My wife had the lemon crab linguine while I had the lasagna with the bolder flavored sauce. Everything was excellent. This was our only non-Bavarian food all weekend, but outstanding!

It took awhile for us to be waited on but our waitress apologized for it immediately. The bread with oil is pretty dang good. For an appetizer I ordered the Caprese it was nothing to write home about. For my entree I ordered the Cotto Al Forno and it was absolute amazing I adore the ricotta blobs, the spicy sausage, mozzarella cheese cover, and the fresh tomatoes. Amazing dish! The ambiance is cool there's a spiral staircase and who doesn't love those??? We were sat by a window on the top floor and could see the mountains while dining. Superb! Other than almost being forgotten it was a great dinner all in all.

Holy moly!! So good. We each had the pork chop which was perfect! Sat at the window upstairs and watched people. Jake, our server was spot on!

This is a good Italian place in Leavenworth. We stopped by during spring break, middle of the week. I had a 16oz Ribeye ($60) that was cooked to perfection, wish they give you the option for mashed potatoes. The plate came with sautéed veggies. The lemon crab linguine was good but was an impressive small portion for $39, make sure you order a side/appetizer. We also got Vongole and it was good, but I did notice that the portion was small but ok for $25. The ambiance was great, unfortunately the was only one buzzer and one server running around like crazy...probably because of the season.

The food was prepared perfectly. The views of downtown as well as the mountains are top tier for the area. The staff was very well informed and had great suggestions. If you are looking for great places for dinner this is a must try.

Visconti's didn't disappoint. Not only did they accommodate a reservation for 10 people, but they did it in style. Our server, Asia, was attentive, quick, and knowledgeable about their menu. We ordered & different dishes and couldn't help but taste them off of each others plates. The fresh bread and seasoned oil starter set our expectations high for the rest of the meal. The pork shank over saffron risotto stole the show in my opinion, but all 10 of us left with full bellies (very generous portions, even with appetizers) and happy hearts.

Overall, I would give this place 4 stars. Mainly because my entree was the best I have had in terms of cannelloni. However, the rest of the meal was less than par. They are short staffed like most places at this point in time, but were not told they were out of the wine we ordered a bottle of until our entrees arrived. The waitress was nice. We had the calamari for an appetizer, which was VERY chewy. The bread basket they serve with seasoned olive was delicious. As I mentioned, the cannelloni I had for an extreme was AMAZING. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The tomato and béchamel sauces were delicious. The Italian sausage is wonderful and a little on the spicy side, which I liked. The other entree we ordered was the veal piccata and it lacked flavor. The breading was too saturated with butter. The pasta itself had no flavor. The ambience is very pleasant.

This restaurant has a nice location in town and was very convenient for us. We love Italian food, the venue was fine and the food was as expected although the service was a little less professional than we would've wished. Good enough!

A return visit here which might be turning into an annual event when I go up there. It's definitely one of the more elegant places in town, and not super touristry in that respect. It's sit down, there's decent service and attention paid. Given the options in town, it's definitely a better choice if you want something more traditional dining out vibe. The food was consistent from last time, it was tasty and well presented. I had the salmon special. For the price I was expecting a little bit more fish, but what was there was decent. I'm fairly sure it was Atlantic Farmed, it had an oily texture to it that's usually the giveaway. Outside of that, it was fresh and not frozen. They accomodated my request for extra veggies instead of the rice to make it a little healthier for me. I also ordered the brussel sprouts. They were good, albeit smaller portions. It is still, however, touristy especially with the prices and portions. Save some bucks to eat because it's a bit on the spendy side especially if you add some vino to your experience. It isn't the easiest if you are being carb / sugar conscious though. It's there, but it'll take a little extra looking. All that said, it's definitely worthy of 4 solid stars for Leavenworth and I'm sure I'll be back next time.

My wife and I are in Leavenworth, WA celebrating our 29th anniversary and decided to have dinner at Visconti's Italian food is one of my favorites and I looked forward to dinner. My wife and I spent the day wandering Leavenworth enjoying all the Bavarian buildings and exploring the sights. The bad thing about that is it is 2 days before Christmas and there is at least 6 inches of snow everywhere. So, I am exhausted from slogging through and on top of snow. I was so tired that I barely had the energy to enjoy the dine offerings from Visconti's. They have an extensive bar and wine selection. So, I helped myself to my favorite adult beverage, a garden side salad, and the main entree... Pollo ala Parmigiana (Chicken Parmigana). There was also complimentary fresh baked bread and infused oil. Very nice. The salad was a nice eat. There was fresh cucumbers, greens, grape tomatoes, shaved Parmigiano cheese. I went with a basic balsamic vinegar for my dressing. The chicken was pressed to a very thin patty that was lightly breaded and very tenderly cooked. There was a small bed of linguine pasta with a cheese sauce served with the chicken. I am pleased to say that everything tasted great and the server was pleasant to work with.

Our waitress was new but very friendly and prompt. I wish I remembered her name, but she had said she recently moved from AZ. She interacted well with all her tables. We got the chicken and mushroom fettuccine and the I thought the vongole alle saffron. The sausage was spicy! We also got complimentary bread and an oil dip. The dip was so good, the bread might've been my favorite thing. The pastas were good, but nothing spectacular. And like most everything in Leavenworth, a little more expensive than it's actually worth I think. Still, it's a nice choice for a sit down restaurant.

Visconti's offers the perfect warm meal for you to wrap up your winter wonderland adventures at. Something about oil dipped buttered bread, a savory soup, and perfectly sauced up pasta is truly the trifecta to me. There were a lot of things we did right - we were sure to make reservations so we could have dinner with a view of the town glittered in lights, we asked about the specials, and most importantly, we were patient.

The food was okay, just okay. They don't have enough staff this Friday evening, good location though.

The clerk at our hotel recommended here for dinner. I was wanting lasagna. Asia was our waitress and she took very good care of us. Everything we had was amazing and fresh. We had dessert too but I forgot to take pictures. Galato and lemon sorbet with lemonchelllo

In the heart of Leavenworth this place stood out the most when it comes to a prestige restaurant to have a more intimate late lunch or dinner. Where I was able spend a couple of hours to enjoy ourselves and the delicious food offered by a friendly and welcoming staff, we will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!

One of my favorite restaurants on Front Street. Nice staff, plenty of seating and delicious food. I have never had anything here that I didn't love. This time around I got the Cannelloni house made pasta and a clarified cucumber cooler cocktail. Both were spectacular. The cucumber cocktail was so nice and refreshing and is the perfect summer drink. I love that you make a reservation through OpenTable ahead of time.

The best tenderloin I have ever had, must have it with the mushroom demi. Crab linguini was amazing. Topped it off with cheesecake. Our server Sierra was phenomenal. 5 thumbs up.

Not being regular Christmas time visitors to Leavenworth, we were behind the eight all on places to stay and places to eat. All the top rated places were booked out long ago. Visconti was a pleasant surprise that seemed to have plenty of openings on the Sunday night that we went to dinner. We had four different entrees and everyone was pleased with the meal. I added sausage to my gnocchi Bolognese and they were happy to customize. It was great! Service was great. Nice place , not brats, no too expensive... unless you get the ribeye with the lobster.

A few of my friends and I were in the Leavenworth area for some outdoor activities. We heard great things about Visconti's, so we stopped in for dinner. The host was welcoming and able to slide us in between reservations. Visconti's is a beautiful dining venue with a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. Our server, Megan, was amazing! Right from the start Megan took excellent care of us. She knew the menu front to back and had an impressive knowledge of the wine selection. Throughout our dinner, Megan ensured that we had everything we needed. It's clear that Megan takes pride in her service. She goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are treated like royalty. Visconti's is lucky to have her! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Our compliments to the excellent bar and kitchen staff working behind the scenes. We can't wait to visit again!

The service was outstanding, Lexi treated us very well. We had the lasagna and the chicken parmesan with a caesar salad. We wrapped up our meal with gelato. It is always pleasant to come across a server who has a postive persona at closing. Hanging out in Leavenworth and want some home cooked italian food, head over to Visconti's.

Better to make dinner reservations to get a table. I made my reservations a week in advance. Gets pretty busy at 6pm on a Friday The pork shank was so tender and juicy. It comes with a side of risotto but it taste ok. I had better! My kids ordered spaghetti and lasagna from the kids menu and Surprisingly it was a pretty good size portion

This was a fancy resturant, the staff was friendly. The food was a little pricy but did taste good. Would try them again.

Visconti's is a Leavenworth classic! It's good every time I go. I went on a Saturday at 7:00pm and didn't have to wait long for an outdoor table with a lovely view. I ordered the caprese salad to start and it was lovely! Excellent flavor and beautiful presentation-really refreshing on a summer day. As an entree, I got the lemon crab linguine on gluten free pasta. It tasted as good as full gluten pasta I'd say! The sauce was phenomenal and the crab was generous. It was light and amazing. Our server was lovely and super helpful! She brought us lemon wedges for our water, knew a lot about which foods contained gluten, and was super kind and attentive. You can't beat the view or the pasta!

We had dinner here last night. Dillon was our server. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was pretty good. The sauce was not up to standard in that it didn't cook long enough to allow all of the spices to meld together as I do when I cook my sauce at home. My husband had cannelloni stuffed with sausage. The sausage mixture was very flavorful. When my husband asked about salad and or bread with dinner, Dillon said "This isn't Olive Garden, man" ... He probably thought he was funny but he came off as rude and a bit spoiled. He later recommended an espresso martini and that was wonderful. I find that most restaurants have pros and cons. Our food was cold. Dillon was a bit precocious, the view was wonderful and I loved my martini.

My husband and I ate there last night and every single thing we had was excellent! We shared a Caesar salad and the bread. He had cannelloni and I had the lasagna. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We were both full and happy when we left.

We found a diamond in the rough here in Wenatchee. We shared lasagna, tried both the Caesar and beet side salads, and ended with apple bread pudding. Every food item we tasted was exceptional, fresh and authentic. We also ordered 2 mocktails, the blueberry mojito (out of this world) and the ginger beer infused with sherbet (just ok). We also really liked our waitress and her friendly and helpful service!

So we decided on this place while staying at Post hotel. First off, the environment is nice and the service is good. It's the food that is not all that great. I loved the bread with oil- best thing we had. We had the cannelloni, crab pasta, chefs board, cup of bean soup, argula salad and bruschetta. I enjoyed the cheese/salami board. Though was not over the moon about it. The bruschetta was not great even though looks great. I think Olive Garden has better, and I don't even care for Olive Garden. The soup was not balanced with flavors, way over powering tomato paste. The cannelloni tasted decent but WAY too much. I suggest a smaller portion and a side salad. Too much. The Argula salad was pretty good. And the famous lemon crab linguine.. really? Tasted so average. The cream sauce was not balanced either. Too much heavy cream and just lemon juice. Not enough crab either. But I'll be back for bread and oil!

Very nice service at the restaurant, some members of my party were quite late and the server didn't make a big deal about it at all. Portion sizes could've been better, and house bread wasn't the best. Loved the intimate vibes and expansive menu choices.

We ended up here as a backup after leaving another restaurant with terrible hostess service, where we couldn't get seated without a long wait. Best thing that could have happened! Visconti's restaurant is two floors of lovely dining space. Several of the tables have windows with outstanding mountain views. The service is exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. Our waitress was so helpful in guiding us through the menu due to our dietary allergies. The wait staff promptly brought out fresh bread with a delicious EVOO dipping sauce that had garlic and herbs, and our water was refilled frequently without having to ask. We ordered the rack of lamb and the chicken parmesan, and both dishes were generously portioned and well seasoned. The lamb was perfectly cooked as medium rare, and our waitress was so accommodating when I asked for some balsamic glaze to go with it. We also had the house-made tiramisu for dessert. A fortunate and pleasant dining experience all around!

Came here after an epic Whitewater Rafting trip. The food was so good! Calamari! Thought it was fried, but it was steamed. Still tasty. Pork chop: deliciousness! This was def prepared perfectly and well seasoned. My friends ordered pasta alfredo and a seafood mix! They all enjoyed. Service was okay. We had the bartender who seemed a bit overwhelmed. Def recommend.

Service was great and food was also good. This is more fine dining then casual (price- wise). I loved my ravioli of the day plate (butternut squash ravioli with duck on the side.( Sauce and raviolis were delicious with ample food to share. Duck was a little fatty (although I find that is normal with duck). Adding the side salad for just $6.00 was a deal even though I didn't love the chopped salad because I thought it needed more dressing. Portions were big and bread and olive oil were of high quality. The location was wall to wall windows and we had a great view of the Cascades. Their wines by the glass were great and the pour was overly generous. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely make a reservation for this restaurant, when we arrived there was quite a long wait! The menu was extensive with a few daily offerings to choose from. We started with the bruschetta which was average, definitely not worth the market price. For our entrees we did the 1/2 lemon chicken and lemon linguine with clams. Both were absolutely delicious, only complaint was there were some shells left in the pasta from the clams. This was pretty disappointing, but luckily didn't ruin the overall experience.

The best Italian food that I've ever had in my life! The service was on point with our server checking on us multiple times, great ambiance for the family, we had the lasagna, pizza and the lobster linguine, everything was out of this world, we had to came back the next day lol, a little pricey but a great experience over all the only thing that I'll complain is I wish they would open all day instead of 3 pm to 9 pm

Fantastic! Service was attentive and on point. Food was as good as we've experienced in world wide travels. What a find!, and unexpected in Leavenworth. I am humbled!

The Italian food at this place is excellent! It's one of my favorite restaurants. We started with an antipasto, and after that we ordered linguine and clams. They were fabulous.
