What a lovely place to stay! We had room 6, (I think) up a private staircase covered in roses. It’s a beautiful room, spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The garden is huge, leading out onto the hillside beyond for walks. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. A lovely relaxing place to stay in a very interesting, picturesque village.

Wonderful little village with fortified church. A must visit place to feel the authentic spirit of life in Transylvania. Highly recommended! Parking is indicated and there is a restaurant called Viscri 32 - a gem! Even HRH King Charles has a house in this village.

Enchanting guesthouse with very thoughtful interior. You get a true countryside experience without missing any comfort. Food was amazing and staff is extremely friendly. The whole village is absolutely worth for a stop and visit.

This is quite an exceptional place to stay. There are a number of accommodation units around the courtyard and an attractive communal dining-area. Dinner is three courses and comes with a seemingly limitless amount of plum schnapps. The proprietress was very friendly. We had booked a double room but appear to have been 'upgraded' to stay in 'the house' (sleeps 4) by the entrance door and it was absolutely charming and cosy: very characterful but with a very modern bathroom. Opening the window onto the 'street' in the morning at sunrise and seeing the cows and goats coming out to graze on the verges was magical. In October the village is very quiet and the overnight stay was unforgettable. There is secure parking within the courtyard. |We would happily return. Go while Viscri is unspoilt by tourism!

This is the best place I have ever stayed in my life. Seriously, I am not exaggerating.
Absolutely perfect place. Authentic, but at the same time everything you need for comfort is modern.
Excellent cuisine.
The children are absolutely delighted with the garden and the playground.
Thank you very much for your hospitality, we will definitely be back next year.

We stayed two nights in this lovely rural guesthouse.|It was peaceful and comfortable with excellent food.||The building was well designed to keep us cool in the heat and was comfortable at night.||The village is characterful and interesting. Worth taking a walk to the church, admire the architecture of the houses and look into King Charles III’s home in the village which houses interesting exhibitions.||We had a hire car for touring in Transylvania. Not sure if there is any bus service.

Slow living a la carte in a village full of history and cultural significance with home cooked meals. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, our rooms were nicely designed and decorated with authentic touches. Fresh flowers, yes! Public areas are wonderfully manicured. We loved the food and were happy to try new traditional meals and recipes. Their staff are locals and they are trying to involve the community as much they can. This is a very good example to follow in other places with such a big potential like Viscri. The only downside was that our room was quite warm on a summer night, since there is no aircon and proper ventilation. Keep up the amazing work, hoping to see you soon again!

It was my first time visiting viscri 125 and i need to admit that i have been impressed. Our guests are amazing, caring and very helpful always smiling and being polite.
The location is amazing, very quiet and green all over. The home made food is incredible tasty as all the ingredients are from their own garden.
Definitely the best location to disconnect and recharge!
