Breathtaking water and fun for the whole family The Blue Lagoon is absolutely stunning—clear, turquoise water that looks like a postcard. We arrived early, which I highly recommend, because it got very crowded by late morning. Once it got busy, we walked around the island and found some quieter spots. We even did some cliff jumping, which was a highlight! My 13-year-old went snorkeling in a cave on the far side and said it was amazing—he saw entire schools of fish and loved it. We rented 2 loungers with an umbrella for €30, which felt a bit pricey, but it was nice to have a base for the day. There are a few food stalls and basic facilities, but not much shade unless you rent. Overall, an incredible experience—just be prepared for the crowds and bring water shoes if you plan to explore. Definitely worth visiting! Just get there around 9 am.

The Blue Lagoon in Comino is a beautiful place to visit, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and stunning scenery. It can get very busy, especially during the summer months, with lots of people enjoying swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Despite the crowds, it’s a must-see when in Malta. The lagoon is just a short distance from Gozo, making it easy to reach by boat or ferry. The vibrant colors of the water and the surrounding cliffs create a truly unforgettable view. Arriving early or later in the afternoon can help you enjoy this natural paradise in a more peaceful setting.

One of the most beautiful places in Europe. Plan your trip in the spring or autumn. We were there in the summer in it's carry crowded. But we loved it either way. A daytrip 6-7 hours almost not enough. Blue lagoon and crystal lagoon.

Blue Lagoon on Comino Island is truly a gem of Malta. The ferry ticket from Cirkewwa costs €15 per adult. The water here is an incredible turquoise color, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The scenery around is breathtaking and leaves unforgettable memories. Keep in mind that during the high season it gets very crowded, so it’s best to arrive early before 11:00 or later in the afternoon after 5:00 to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere. Sunbeds are available for rent – two sunbeds with an umbrella cost €35. There are also a few kiosks serving tasty cocktails and light snacks at quite reasonable prices. This is definitely a must-see place when visiting Malta. The experience will stay with you for a long time! 🌊☀️

The blue lagoon wasn't for us. Try imagining 500 people packed into a small sea side cliff face, cover it in builders sharp sand and stick a deck chair on it and charge €17.50 a chair. Whilst you are sat there people constantly walk past you inches from where you are sat. If I hadn't just paid €35 for two deck chairs, I could of got back on the boat and gone back home. The lagoon is a nice place to have a paddle when the waters not too choppy. There are food wagons, lockers and public toilets which are pretty good. Very crowded and way too busy, we wouldn't recommend. Our photos don't show you the sheer scale of how hectic it actually is

Google
Too much marketing! A lot of people in a verry small place! Prepare yourself to stay in an incomode position because you will find a super small beach! The view is nice … Take also the tour at the caves!

The blue lagoon is a must if you visit Malta. A beautiful landscape with crystal waters and a turquoise shade of blue among the rocks especially the time of the sunset will take your breath. It the summer months i suggest you go in the afternoon since you can enjoy the view and a quick swim without the place being over crowded. When you arrive you'll also see many canteens with food, drinks and sweets you can choose from. Don't miss it

Absolutely stunning, and well worth the trip. Unfortunately, far too crowded, which does spoil the experience somewhat. Definitely recommend making use of the lockers before heading down for a swim. Despite the crowds, I cannot give less than top marks as it is simply beautiful 😍
