Breathtaking water and fun for the whole family
The Blue Lagoon is absolutely stunning—clear, turquoise water that looks like a postcard. We arrived early, which I highly recommend, because it got very crowded by late morning.
Once it got busy, we walked around the island and found some quieter spots. We even did some cliff jumping, which was a highlight! My 13-year-old went snorkeling in a cave on the far side and said it was amazing—he saw entire schools of fish and loved it.
We rented 2 loungers with an umbrella for €30, which felt a bit pricey, but it was nice to have a base for the day. There are a few food stalls and basic facilities, but not much shade unless you rent.
Overall, an incredible experience—just be prepared for the crowds and bring water shoes if you plan to explore. Definitely worth visiting! Just get there around 9 am.
