Where to Eat, Stay, and Play in Fargo, North Dakota

"Step inside the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center where you’ll find the original Fargo wood chipper from the 1996 film, signed by the Coen brothers. The visitors center is worth sticking around to see a signed copy of the original Fargo script and if North Dakota is your last stop after touring the other 49 states, become an official member of the ‘Best for Last Club’ and take home a commemorative best for last t-shirt and an official certificate from staff members."

We always stop by every visitor's center we can. As soon as we we left the airport we headed over to visit. The staff was friendly, gave wonderful suggestions, and they had tons of brochures, maps, etc. to plan a visit to the area. They also sold all kinds of souvenirs and had tons of options for our favorites - magnets, stickers, postcards, and trinkets unique to the area. A must visit if you are visiting Fargo.

Short walk from the truck stop! No truck parking on site! Not big enough for trucks! Staff was friendly and respectful! Some good photo ops here! Cool seeing the original movie prop!

One of the best welcome centers in the US? Possibly!! If North Dakota is your 50th state, they have a Best for Last Club - it's free to join and they give you a certificate, a shirt, and a photo opp with a best for last sign. Highly recommended to stop by on your way into North Dakota!

Plenty of parking, easy to find, air conditioned. There were many pamphlets showing many places to go and things to do and maps. Nice clean bathrooms, water fountain, and a couple of cool photo ops. One with a beautifully painted Buffalo outside, and a replica of the famous woodchipper from the movie Fargo. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff that helped us map and plan out some activities to keep us busy on our vacation.

Fun little stop to make in Fargo just to check out some of the history. The walk of fame was an interesting surprise.
