We booked a package including a variety of activities including husky sled ride, northern lights hunting by car and reindeer, snow mobile, ice fishing, snow shoe night hike and cross country ski lessons. |All staff both at the hotel and on the trips were friendly, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely committed to making sure we had a good time. |Our large room had a magnificent view of the frozen lake from its glass balcony. |The bed was large and comfortable, shower excellent and the in-room sauna worked well and was quick to heat. |We had half board and were satisfied with the variety available for both breakfast and dinner. |We were so lucky to have fantastic sightings of the northern lights/aurora which, together with the service at the hotel, ensured a memorable 5 night adventure.

Very convenient place to stay. There are two grocery stores and a big souvenir shop right across the road. The outdoor activities shop is right next door and you can book excursions right from the hotel. The restaurant was ok for a breakfast buffet, but they did not change the menu at all so it was repetitive. The hot food, scrambled eggs, some type of meat, little meat and rice buns, or the local baked creamy rice pastry were very basic. Typical cold meat and cheese, hard boiled eggs etc. Yogurt, frozen berries. I didn't eat lunch but the dinners were very good, high quality meat or fish and very fresh vegetables. Alcohol is very pricey. A bottle of red wine was 54 euros. The room I had was very small and bare. The bathroom was extremely small with the shower just big enough to fit my shoulders in, and I am a small person. No real cleaning service during the week I was there. The staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely stay there again for the convenience.

It was truly a wonderful experience. First, about the hotel: I stayed in accommodations other than the Aurora Cabins. It takes less than a minute to walk from the cabins to the lake. I was able to see the Aurora every day. There's a supermarket near the hotel, which is very convenient. You might think it's expensive when you come to Inari, but you should definitely participate in various activities. There are experiences here that you can't have anywhere else. If you think it's too expensive, save up some money and go when you can afford to spend. Above all, you absolutely must join the Aurora Camp. Of course, you might be able to see the Aurora every day at Lake Inari as well, but the Aurora that local guides take you to see is on another level entirely. What source of information do you trust most when learning about something you don't know? Information from the internet? Social media? Radio? TV? Or opinions from locals?

Booked the room with a private sauna. Nothing short of amazing experience, and the lake is at a walking distance. The hotels website is the best website so far to get all the information at one place. They helped with early check out, and som hiccups with us getting locked out of the room. Booking shuttle to airport, snowmobile aurora camping, and even packing breakfast for the early flight. Best service.

We spent 7 nights here and were not disappointed in any way.|easy check in, very comfortable beds, warm room including ensuite.|Restaurant was nicely set out and the "fixed" menu was varied and tasty|We could have opted for the a-la-carte menu at additional cost but didn't feel the need.|Staff were friendly, polite, and eager to help.|The safari office was adjacent so was very convenient for the daily ( nightly ) activities.|Across the road was a choice of supermarkets, a bar, souvenir shop, and around the corner a service station that did great coffee.|Not a 5 star hotel but I have rated it 5 star as there was absolutely nothing to complain about.|A fantastic and comfortable week was enjoyed.

It’s a small hotel but unexpected service and food. Staffs here are very responsive and helpful. They have linked up with spa and excursions. Everything is so smooth and easy to book for excursions. In 2 days I joined husky ride / aurora hunting by car and aurora fire camp. So perfectly fulfilled my wish in Finland. Restaurant aurora inside hotel is a gem. Food are super good. Highly recommend to stop by

Located in the heart of Inari, it is absolutely convenient to get to places from Hotel Inari. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, every staff member was very friendly and helpful, and they make you feel like home! During check-in, the staff gave us very concise and clear instructions regarding the hotel. He even offered us early check-in as our room was already ready! What's more, when we returned from dinner, another front desk staff reminded us that there was aurora borealis at that moment! We rushed back to our room and take our tripods for photo-taking. The scenery was absolutely magical, spectacular and stunning. Breakfast is included for every hotel guest. The hotel restaurant faces the lake, which gives a wonderful view while enjoying our breakfast. What made our breakfast time more enjoyable was our waitress Natalia, who always has a pretty smile on her face and looks like beautiful sunshine! This has made our stay at Hotel Inari very enjoyable and remarkable. Everyone and everything here are amazing!
