We stayed in the hotel which is the part of this palace. We were informed that we could visit the Palace itself. We like it very much: the hotel is wonderful, which was in the past the working and storage area, and careful renovated into a boutique hotel. The palace still resides the owner of the Palace -14th generation and opens to the public. It is a glimpse into the history: how a merchant family from Florence has blossomed in Seville. Since I am a Chinese, it is extremely interesting to see the artifacts their family brought from Asia. Even you are not the guests of the hotel, I would recommend to make a visit to a privat history.

We were staying in the hotel at Palacio Bucarelli and the man at the front desk encouraged us to check out the tour of the rest of the palacio. It was such a fun activity!! I loved all the areas to explore and to be able to see all the furniture, artwork, and photographs of the family who lived there. Pilar who assisted us with the audio tour was lovely!! What a fun and unique piece of Seville history!

Palacio Bucarelli is both a museum and an excellent hotel in the Torneo district in Seville. It is a little distant from the other main attractions of the city but it is worth a visit. The home dates back four hundred years and the same family has owned it all that time. The owners still live in a portion of the home but the rest of the house and the garden are available to visit. Recommended stop if you can spare the time.
