Love this place! Great deals, 10k items daily so if I need anything it almost always turns up if it's on Amazon. Easy to pickup items too, John was very helpful in helping me load my items! Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible service here. First off, the deals are insane (induction stove for $16 for e.g). Unfortunately, I did have one item that didn’t work but my mom said they take returns which was a surprise. Also, I recently had a family emergency and they kindly pushed back my pickup date twice. They were incredibly responsive and understanding about this, which easily won my loyalty. I love how they’re super efficient and FAST when you arrive to do a pickup. In less than 10 mins they had a full cart hover boarded over to me. You don’t see this kind of efficiency in NC… I am so excited to continue ordering from here for my home remodel. I bought so many things from light fixtures to a stove overhead fan and range. I also recently scored a Breville espresso machine for less than 50% of MSRP!! I almost bought one direct, and ended up purchasing the upgraded version from Vista Auction for much less. I live in NY but have a rental property in NC, so this has been a game changer for big-ticket items I would have paid a LOT of money for collectively. I have a thorough review on my TikTok if you actually want to see what the experience is like @damaristravels Big thanks to your customer service team for handling my situation and being incredibly thoughtful. I can’t wait until I’m in town again to do another big haul. 🥰

🌟 Hidden Treasure Trove, Matthews NC !! Tucked away just about a 30-minute drive from Charlotte, Vista Auctions in Matthews, North Carolina, is one of those places that feels like a well-kept secret until you step inside and realize you’ve stumbled upon a goldmine of deals, surprises, and budget-friendly finds. I recently visited the Vista Auctions warehouse, and I genuinely didn’t expect to have such a fulfilling, quirky, and exciting day. The place is massive, and it’s a haven for bargain hunters, students, home organizers, and anyone who enjoys a little bit of treasure hunting. They specialize in open-box and returned items mostly Amazon and other third-party delivery returns so you never really know what you’re going to find. But that’s the beauty of it. 🛒 What to Expect: From teeny-tiny trinkets to full-blown kitchen appliances and home décor, there’s a bit of everything here. I picked up some surprisingly good stuff (and yes, some silly little things too I didn’t need but couldn’t resist). If you’re patient, spend an entire day, and go in with a list of needs (not just wants), you could easily furnish an entire dorm room, studio apartment, or kitchen setup without burning a hole in your wallet. 💸 Who Should Go: Highly recommended for: • Undergrad and international students • People moving frequently • Anyone on a tight budget looking for quality home essentials Vista Auctions is especially useful during seasonal moves like summer breaks when transporting every last kitchen item isn’t realistic. Grab what you need here, use it for as long as necessary, and donate it to a nearby Goodwill, Salvation Army, or local thrift store when it’s time to move on. It’s a sustainable, budget-conscious loop that just makes sense. 🧤 Pro Tips: • Wear gloves. You’re going to be sorting through returns and boxes. Gloves not only keep your hands clean but protect your privacy—some packaging may still have shipping labels or barcodes with personal info. • Take your time. Rushing here defeats the purpose. Plan to spend at least a few hours, if not a full day. • Inspect everything. Some items are as good as new; others might be missing pieces. Check before you commit! • Bring a reusable bag or box. You’ll probably leave with more than you expected! ❤️ The Experience: It felt like a modern-day scavenger hunt with a twist of practicality. I left with some genuinely useful items that would’ve cost me triple elsewhere, and even though I had no intention of buying some things I ended up loving the fun randomness of it all. There’s a real joy in discovering something you didn’t know you needed for a fraction of the price. 📍 Final Thoughts: Vista Auctions isn’t your average store it’s a warehouse full of potential. Whether you’re setting up your first apartment, need temporary essentials, or just enjoy the thrill of finding a deal, this place is definitely worth checking out. It’s easy to overlook spots like this in an Amazon Prime world, but there’s something uniquely satisfying about hand-picking your finds, knowing you got a great deal. I Highly Recommend. Budget-friendly, student-approved, and unexpectedly fun. Bring your curiosity, comfy shoes, and maybe a friend and get ready to find a little magic hidden in a warehouse of returns.

This is a terrible place that clearly doesn’t care about its customers at all. I’ve held off on writing this review for a long time, but today I’ve had enough. I’ll never set foot in Vista again — and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you want to waste your time and lose your patience. Three years ago, this used to be a great place where you could find good items that matched their descriptions on the website. But now everything has changed — mainly because of constant staff turnover and their careless attitude toward their work. Over the past year, my friends and I have given Vista multiple chances. And EVERY SINGLE TIME we ended up disappointed. 🤯 How is that even possible? The product descriptions on the website never match reality. They say something is “new,” but when you get it home and open it — it’s clearly used. They say “used, complete set,” but when you carry a huge heavy box home (in my case, a large bunk bed), start assembling it — and realize HALF the parts are missing! 😡 Then you have to pack it all back up and drag it back to the store. That is NOT okay, Vista. This keeps happening again and again. Today, I had the exact same experience my friends did. I’m including a photo of the item from the website and what I actually received. Don’t waste your time, people. This is unacceptable customer service. Neither I nor my friends will ever go back there again.

Personally I appreciate the individual experience and attention and support Vista Auction has offered me today. I’m well over 75 and still learning the technology and bid on something I was not able to use , transport or store. I explained by contact them by email and they responded in few hours and took the items off my list and issued full refund. This is the best. I have had few items that may not of worked in past and received refund. The staff on site on very supportive as well. Thank you so much for all the help. The Helms

I have finally been compelled to leave a review. I recently won an auction of a compact dryer listed as light use, tested, turns on, and has minor dents. This is not my first experience at Vista and will not be my last. However, this particular auction I believe represents the average Vista experience. Check-in is quick and easy and they bring your stuff out fast. They have a variety of delivery options depending on what you've bought, in this case they chose to use one of their walled carts. And boy did the box with the dryer fit in that cart quite nicely! Barely any room on the sides to lift out a "team lift" item, per labeling on the box. It doesn't appear that they read anything on packaging because it also states "top always up" and "do not lay on this side" on every side. You can even tell from the pictures in the auction posting, so I can't complain too much, as I missed that myself. Anyway, once I was able to get it out of the cart, into my truck, and onto my living room floor (making sure the top was always up!) I opened the box and was greeted with the very bottom of the dryer. Yay. Once out of the box and upright the first thing I noticed is that it was missing the adjustment knob to turn the dryer on. There was also a random pot lid in the bottom of the box that, ironically, was also missing its knob. Must be some knob gobblers over at Vista! So, with some apprehension, I plugged it in and attempted to turn it on. Nothing. Well, I'm missing the knob, so I really have no idea where in a cycle I am, but no matter how much I turn the knob or how many clicks I'm hearing, nothing happens (tested, turns on 🙄). So, like any reasonable person, I took the thing apart. It looks like someone had already attempted to repair it (uh oh) and the capacitor mount was broken with a zip tie as a replacement. I found a fuse holder and inspected the fuse, looked fine except for a strange discoloration on the glass. Luckily I own a multimeter so I tested for continuity and nothing. Must have been a rough ride home. I bought a new fuse, replaced the old one, plugged it in, and turned it on. Success! Or so I thought. Again, missing the knob I couldn't tell if I was in the heat portion of the cycle or not, but I wasn't getting heat. So I took the whole thing apart and tested the heater for continuity and appeared to be ok. I put everything back together and it now magically works. So, in conclusion, it's an auction house trying to turn product over quickly and efficiently for profit. As the saying goes you can have good, cheap, and fast but can only pick two. No surprises really, just wish a little more care was taken during handling.

I’ve been buying from Vista for some time now. It is a great company with great team members. I had an exceptional experience today with Yvette!! She went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had. She is definitely a great asset for your company and deserves recognition for her excellent customer service!

Google
Love this place I’ve gotten so much stuff I didn’t know I needed (haha) for lower prices than stores! It’s rare to have any issues with an item but if so they have the best customer service and will return it no problem! Will continue to purchase items here. Def recommend!

Yelp
I'll admit, Vista Auction had me hooked for awhile. I enjoyed the selection, ease of use, their appointment system, and easy pickup. What I didn't enjoy was getting mislabeled items that were broken or missing parts when they weren't listed as such. They do have a return policy for mislabeled items. I was able to return the items with no issues, which was a relief. Needless to say, this cured me of my addiction. Although I am fairly happy with my other items, I would rather pay a little bit more to buy from a place with new items with warranties. Check them out for yourself, it was definitely fun in the beginning.

Yelp
NO RETURNS - BUYER BEWARE I've purchased several items from Vista. While most were acceptable, an air mattress was listed as new but was obviously used and dirty. It had a large hole in it. When I requested a return or refund, Vista refused to accept it. Their product listings are often misleading and they do not take responsibility for misrepresented items. A BBB complaint has been filed.

Yelp
I have to give Vista Auction 4/5 stars. As a female, I often find a package too heavy to lift alone. Fortunately, when I asked a gentleman for help, they did not refuse. I saw another gentleman helping a woman. He loaded all of her items, and she had a cart full. I am so grateful for kind men who will help a needy lady, some without asking. I must be more strategic when picking up items and ensure I have someone with me so we can struggle together! Otherwise, Vista Auction is the way to go for those things you need, when you need them. It's easy to go way out, so be warned when reviewing items available for auction. Know that when you bid on an item, you cannot cancel it, so be sure you want it. You can put it on your Watch list and think about it before committing.

Yelp
I had a bid in for an item but was told I had been outbid. Then I get an invoice for that item plus 2 items that I did even bid on. I told them not to take my money. I emailed them several times so NOW I'M LOCKED OUT PERMANENTLY. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. BUYERS, be ware if you do anything wrong, YOU ARE DONE. We

Yelp
Everything we have purchased is missing parts or broken. It says light use and won't even turn on or the inside is rusted. They should not misrepresent the products and if it is broken then throw it out. We even have "new" products that are broken. I say pass on the deals as there aren't any deals just broken junk!!!!! They are nice and have a great system of pick up but are laughing as you carry out the packages knowing they are junk. Very dissatisfied and have purchased a many an item so this is not a one time experience. I am done with Vista!!!!

Yelp
I'm reading a number of complaints and in fairness to this company, this is an auction bidding site. They purchased in bulk, items returned, etc and they label items as new, lightly used, etc. I have to admit, they sometimes get it wrong due to the large volume of items they have to go through. However, I give them credit for their 30 days return policy for any items misrepresented, etc for refund to your original payment or credit (which i don't understand why). I had 2 items misrepresented and returned the items with no issue. The complaints I'm seeing here is due to folks who are not willing to read the fine print, the FAQ, or watch their videos. If you purchase from a place like this, expect some hit and misses. I do agree they do need to do a better job in labeling these items correctly which is why I gave them 3 stars.. but it has yet to stop me from bidding!

Yelp
Vista auctions is a great concept for consumers to purchase an item at a greatly reduced price. All items (to my understanding) are returns from Amazon. They do a good job at providing any details needed (i.e. missing parts). You would also see if the item was pre-inspected. If there is anything wrong beyond what is listed in the description you can return the item to the same location for store credit. Auctions overlap each other so you may be looking at more than 1 list. Look through the list to see if there is anything you are interested in. You can either bid on the item or watch it. As it gets closer you would receive either a text notification or email informing you if you have been outbid or the item is closing....bidding against another person or persons. I have purchased many items as Vista Auction in Charlotte. They are located just off the interstate 485 and I-85 (it's best to use your GPS). The address is 11011 Carpet Street (off West Blvd). Visit their website at vistaauctions.com or download their App. Complete the registration and sign-in process to gain access. There will be several auctions that typically begin at or around 5 PM. You can bid at any time. All items start at $1.00. Every item you win there is a $2.00 charge and a 15% of the item won. I don't buy anything that is outrageous so I do not "feel" the financial impact.

Yelp
This is the best kept secret in Charlotte! Get new items for pennies on the dollar. There are tons of items from toys to food--anything you can think of. Pick up is a breeze but just make sure you get it in five days or they'll resell it.

Stephen N.

Yelp
I have stopped buying anything from Vista due to the deceptions going on with their items. Things being sold as 'new' when the date code shows it was made a year and a half ago! I've returned items there because they didn't work and they were put back up for sale as working. Beware of this place!

Angie

Yelp
Be forewarned: check your items before leaving the premises. Descriptions of items are most always wrong and they will exclude damages in photos on items listed in good or new condition. You WILL receive items that are wrong. You will not receive all your items you paid for. It has happened to me on most of my visits. Vista doesn't give refunds after you leave the site. You can get good deals but you must be careful and vigilant.

Yelp
This place is a scam! They have insiders who INTENTIONALLY boost up auction prices so you will always pay more than you should.

Michael D.

Yelp
They don't check the boxes before they resell them. I bought 2 things that didn't work. One thing didn't work (and the site said it was new) and the other had the power cord missing. Wouldn't buy from them again.

Diane B.

Yelp
Went to Vista auction to pick up some items that I purchased and it took me over an hour to get there in traffic. When I asked somebody if I could use their restroom which I have in the past I was told that I cannot use it. I asked to speak with the manager and the guy told me he was the manager and I still couldn't use it. Not to mention I'm a senior citizen and a paying customer as they have tables available for shopping now for customers. I wonder if it is legal for them not to have a public restrooms for shoppers

Susie C.

Yelp
I have bought a few items here. Read the information carefully. I bought an item marked new and it was broken. I got in touch with Vista who told me to bring it back for a credit. I was told that I have a week to do this. I took item back and got a store credit. Sign does say No Returns though.

Donnetta T.

Yelp
I have received good customer service when I go to Vista Auction. The workers are happy to help whenever they can. I understand that sometimes this place can get extremely busy, so I pack some patience and understanding. I've gotten some great deals here.

Kenya C.

Yelp
The Sardis Rd location.... Just Rude!!! If I could give a rating of below 0 I would. When I complained about the rudeness at customer service desk, they asked if the young lady spoke English (which she did). It wasnt a language barrier at all, she was rude when I asked about the status of a missing item. I do understand they're extremely busy, however theres NO reason for the rudeness, eye rolling, and simply walking away with no explanation.

Yelp
Great deals. So many items go for cheap Auctions gets posted sometimes a day or two in advance and not to many people see all the items. Keep checking everyday
google avatar

Cheryl W.

Yelp
I bought 9 items today. All listed as new. The mirror was broken, the cat tower was covered in black mold, the toddler dress was something totaling different( same color different size and style), the reflection mirror was missing all the parts except mirror. All items listed as new. The wait times are long and painful. Shop at your own risk.

Eladio M.

Yelp
The only th8ng about Vista Auction is that they post items as new, then offer you the option to return for a store credit. But you are then forced to buy another item that might be listed as new but turns out to be unacceptable therefore forcing you to get another store credit putting you in a purchase return cycle which could never end.
google avatar

Michael O.

Yelp
I've bought several things through them. You can find some steals on brand new or open box items. Check them out!

James S.

Yelp
Good deals can still be found but buyer beware. A lot of the items they say are new are not. I got an item they listed as new that had a tag taped to it that said "Found on shelf. All items inside missing." This was on a note still taped to the item but it was sold as new. Also, the wait time to pick up your items is horrendous. They have limited pick up days and because of the high volume of stuff they sell, it leads to very long wait times on the pickup days. Overall a good place and some good bargains to be had but know what your getting into. No Refunds.

Oleg V.

Yelp
always get great deals, i bought an ipad for 50 percent off!!, and many other stuff, always great when you dnt have to pay full price
