Excellent accommodation, excellent location. We have just checked out after 15 nights, staying in a 3 bedroom premium condo. The room was very clean upon arrival and absolutely huge. More than enough room for our family of 4. 3 huge bedrooms 2 bathrooms Balcony Living room / dining room Kitchen / breakfast bar Office / lounge for working Utility room, with washer dryer etc Location is excellent, being 5 minutes from the 3 SeaWorld parks, across the road from the new EPIC, 10 mins from Universal and 20 mins from all Disney... Retail park within walking distance which has a big supermarket and a range of restaurants/ bars. Would defo recommend

This was actually a gift stay through a package we had one / purchase. It was actually our first time at a Vista Cay Resort / location and it's been a long time since we had gone to Universal so we were pretty excited. Right off the bat the property is gorgeous. The staff is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable. The TVs and rooms are equipped with fire sticks so that's really cool we did not have to bring our own. The only thing I have to say about the room or really it's just out of curiosity is that the accessible bathroom was not in the master bathroom so we just thought I was kind of odd. I could have requested an accessible bathroom but I just assumed it would have been in the master bath so anyway but it was a beautiful stay beautiful vacation we loved it hopefully we can come back soon.

Review for Vista Cay (Booked through Ascendant Holidays) I’m currently staying at Vista Cay, and while I’ll say the customer service has been good no complaints there the property itself has been a major disappointment. I’m staying on what seems to be the apartment side, and I booked through Ascendant Holidays. Honestly, this experience has me second-guessing that choice. As soon as you enter the building, there’s an awful smell in the hallway — and unfortunately, that same smell carries into the room. It’s really unpleasant. Then there’s the cleanliness. In the master bedroom, I found a dirty, balled-up tissue left on the edge of the sink. I didn’t make a big deal out of it and just threw it away, but that was already a bad first impression. The shower could’ve been cleaner — the bottom looked dirty — but what truly grossed me out were the towels. They were folded nicely for display, but when I picked one up, there was hair inside. That’s absolutely unacceptable. To make things worse, my pillowcase had black marks on it. I’m not usually the type to write reviews, but this stay was too disappointing to ignore. I’m pissed, embarrassed, and frustrated, especially because I brought another couple with me — and this experience has been nothing but embarrassing. I would not recommend Vista Cay or Ascendant Holidays based on this stay.

We are here for thanksgiving vacation and our stay has been truly subpar. Millenium management did a decent job at trying to rectify things but the house keeping team here is terrible. It seems no one inspects these units after each stay and ours was definitely overlooked. It’s only day two now of our stay and on night one the fire alarm had a low battery and kept ringing through the night. Not to mention the garbage disposal was broken so the water kept backing up as we were trying to make thanksgiving dinner, all the utensils were so worn they would bend when you tried to scoop up the food, the dial on the oven is completely worn off so you can’t even see how high or low you have the stove. In one of the rooms a frame was taken down and just left up against the wall and it fell on my 72 year old MIL’s foot when she walked in. The floors are gross, my toddlers socks are black and so were my bare feet from walking on these floors. I asked for them to have housekeeping come by and they said they did but the unit is untouched. Floors are still gross, it’s dusty, no fresh towels, didn’t make the bed, trash is still there. When I called Millenium mgmt they said that housekeeping stopped by and “touched up” the place. My only options were to switch rooms (super inconvenient with a 3 year old, or have HK come by again- to “touch up the place” ?Seriously? Who is managing the HK team here? I would not stay and bring my family here ever again.

I stayed with my family for our mini vacations at Vista Cay. We celebrated August birthdays in the apartment, it was big enough and comfortable . The place was clean and with everything that you may need, including washer and dryer. Vista Cay has a perfect location plus great amenities. Although, it was raining most of the time, we enjoyed the pool at night. They have a pool area for the little ones as well. My family had a great time playing pool next to the pool area. The area is quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed.

We were given a three bed condo although we originally booked a two bed. The condo was huge, with very well fitted out amenities. We overlooked the car par which wasn’t really a problem. The pool area is recently renovated and huge with more than enough beds etc. parking was plentiful and easy, never struggling to find a spot. Check in was fast and efficient. The only niggles were a couple of light bulbs not working and balcony furniture was poor, but we weren’t there to sit on the balcony. In all honesty, it could have been cleaner (under furniture was vey dusty). Not quite as good as I was expecting from booking through Virgin but it didn’t spoil our stay.|For first timers, publix supermarket, Beth’s burger bar and a sushi bar are all just across the car park and are worth a visit. Be aware when you budget as like everywhere, it has gone very expensive, I know, because it was our eight time.

I’ve stayed at 2 Airbnb’s and will most likely stick with hotels from this point forward. There was no communication or sense of urgency to get our door code upon arrival. The gate code was wrong and after a 10 hour drive, we waited for over an hour to get through the gate on the first night due to being given the incorrect code and zero response from host. We had to contact the resort itself to acquire the lodging we paid for. The power went out multiple times leaving the apartment hot over night with no air conditioning and all of the guests phones were not charged. Our friend missed the time she had to take her medication because of it. Her asthma was acting up due to animal hair found on her bed, and black mold found in the cabinets which we discovered upon the exit inspection we felt necessary to accomplish. Dirty dishes were found in the cabinets along with disgusting floors upon arrival. You could clearly tell that the unit was not cleaned whatsoever. We had to spend our own money on toilet paper (which is a necessity, NOT a luxury) after the listing not completely specifying that would be an amenity that would not be provided passed "the first day". We were issued 2 toilet paper rolls for 5 guests (yes we all 5 were on the reservation) for 5 days. The place was clearly not cleaned properly as there was dust and other garbage under all the beds and crumbs still left on dishes. There were also stains on curtains and bed sheets to match all other unacceptable and disappointing findings. Not only did we find it necessary to look into the host, but discovered that Therese who owns unit 208, has had similiar guests complain about the same issues with the unit but also the major character flaws of her being accusatory, dismissive, inattentive, and disrespectful. No accountability was taken and no apologies were given. What a nightmare.

Let me start by saying the rooms arent bad, they are nice and the accommodations in the room arent bad. But theres constant dogs barking, people coming and going when you have the windows opened, all the tvs suck, worst of all THE WIFI IS HORRIBLE AND SLOW. This is some of the worst wifi ive ever seen, like I understand its not the main selling point, but when I cant even load a video on YouTube because its so slow we got issues. For how much money it cost to not have good internet is sad, I know there's good internet options in Orlando. Ive had motel internet better then this place...... so if bad internet is a deal breaker for you, dont stay here.
