Vista Hermosa (ITCHIMBIA)

This was a really lovely dinner. You do need reservations, but they’ll try and squeeze you in if you go in early enough, the menu is small enough and not intimidating and has loads of wonderful local items.

We went here as our first stop in Ecuador!The view, food and drinks were incredible here! We had the traditional potato ecuadorian soup as well as some empanadas. The service was incredible as well.

From our table, there was barely a view. The first lady that tries to find our reservation was very dismissive. They were busy that night and seemed to be flustered in their service. Our waiter tried but he too seem flustered. He was very welcoming BTW. For such a nice restaurant, the staff may need further training. The live music was also way too loud for such a small space.

When we went December 26, they had live music and were very busy. Drinks were good, beef steak was tough, seafood was ok. View was amazing

Tremendous view of old Town Quito as the restaurant is so named, great food as well , limited choices in wine by the glass, several good beef choices and a half dozen choices for dessert, the chocolate cake was great infused with syrup.

Great place for food and amazing views. Live music was also great. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a great time.

Great food and ambiance! We arrived here on our first night in Quito and loved the steak and sauces. The views of the city are wonderful, and the service was top-notch. Interesting use of portraits on the staircase (see image below).

Great ambiance, live music, good food, phenomenal views. We celebrated a birthday, we were allowed to bring our own cake. Overall good service. Highly recommend a reservation. Also a great place for romantic dinners for two, for a fee they'll set up ahead of time with balloons and rose petals.
