Great place for food and amazing views. Live music was also great. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a great time.

Great food and ambiance! We arrived here on our first night in Quito and loved the steak and sauces. The views of the city are wonderful, and the service was top-notch. Interesting use of portraits on the staircase (see image below).

Great ambiance, live music, good food, phenomenal views. We celebrated a birthday, we were allowed to bring our own cake. Overall good service. Highly recommend a reservation. Also a great place for romantic dinners for two, for a fee they'll set up ahead of time with balloons and rose petals.

Went to this restaurant as it was considered one of the best and high end in Quito. However we were left not fully impressed but are cognizant it was likely due to timing. We called the restaurant to see if we could dine there as we would be arriving 1-1.5 hour before close at 9:00 pm. They person on the phone said we could, however when we arrived we were quickly turned away. Fortunately we were able to explain we called and they eventually let us in. We ordered our food quickly, and it was certainly good. It came out quite fast, as it seemed even though their hours indicated they closed at 9:00, they were starting cleaning/closing activities by 8:00. What was disappointing was that the waiter had us pay for the bill while we were eating. I could draw the line at being relatively rushed and having the food come quicker than anticipated, but asking to settle during the meal was not the best experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was however, top notch. You had gorgeous views of the city and the entire skyline and it was quite the sight to behold while eating. I can absolutely see why people want to dine here when they visit Quito. The restaurant in my eyes would easily be a 4/5 star if it wasn't for the unique experience we had. You could tell the service was good, and that they had well trained staff however the management and decision to start closing before posted hours was confusing to us. Given the rushed experience and mixed message, I'm leaving 3 stars for now but open to increasing in the future.

Really beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion! They really went above and beyond for our anniversary with champagne, petals, and dessert. The main dishes were 4/5, but drinks, service, ambiance, views, and ease of reservations was 5/5. I would definitely recommend! Thank you Vista Hermosa!

Amazing views of Quito at night. A little on the pricier side but it’s worthwhile. The ceviche is probably the best thing I’ve eaten on my trip to Ecuador - would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I arrived late one evening to try their canelazo. It was good and much stronger than any other I've had. I was sat a candle lit table with an amazing view of Quito. A live band played great music.

I’ve never heard so many happy birthday songs in one evening, I sent the salmon back because it was raw and received another raw salmon in return, good for views and a glass of wine but I wouldn’t dine here
