VISTA Palazzo Lago di Como 5 Star Hotel

The hotel location was excellent, the suite we had was large and lovely overlooking the water. The absolute best part of the hotel experience was Concierge Alberto and his amazing team who started attending to our every need and even stupid questions even before our trip started. Marta and Illaria were awesome and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing- from helping with cars, restaurants, advice and more. The all day guided tour with Alberto “the one” experience was the hilight of our trip. Would highly recommend!||To be fully balanced- although service was really great throughout we didn’t love dinner at the restaurant. Not bad just not memorable or as good as more traditional meals we had. Breakfast spread was fantastic and again staff very kind and attentive throughout.

One of the best 5-star experiences we have had, anywhere. Perfect location right in the middle of Lake Como, beautiful views, amazingly comfortable room. Lovely breakfast spread every morning, nothing quite beats a cup of coffee looking out onto the lake with the mountains in background.||With all that said, the best part of the experience was Alberto and the rest of the concierge team at the hotel. My wife and I have been to great hotels all throughout the world, and the team at Vista Lago Di Como definitely outshined them all. From the beginning to the end of our stay, we were very well taken care of, and given great ideas for day trips and other activities, where the team took care of every detail, allowing us to enjoy our time and take it all in. Highly, highly recommended.

We had an amazing time ending our trip in Lake Como at the Vista Hotel! The staff was amazing and hospitable, and went the extra mile to ensure all our needs were met. They organized everything we needed, and everything went smoothly. The hotel itself is beautiful and the morning breakfast with that balcony view of the Lake Como was definitely one of our favorite things! Will definitely be back! Thanks Alberto & Team!

What a wonderful experience at the Vista Lake Como. Beautiful property meticulously maintained in a great location with a true 5 star service experience.||We experienced a serious health challenge while there and the General Manager Christina and her team were so gracious and helpful. Specifically Alberto went above and beyond to help us navigate getting appropriate care.||Highly recommend this luxury boutique property and brand. Having stayed also at their sister property the Vista Verona they are truly special properties .

From the moment we arrived, the team at VISTA Palazzo Lago di Como went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We were greeted with a beautifully decorated room — complete with rose petals, orchids, and a birthday surprise for my fiancée — that immediately set the tone for a truly personalized and luxurious experience. The highlight of our stay was dinner at Sottovoce, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant. They arranged a stunning outdoor table overlooking Lake Como just in time for sunset. Watching the golden light dance on the water while sipping champagne was nothing short of magical. The chef’s surprise pairing menu was absolutely incredible — each course was thoughtfully presented and full of flavor. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Every detail — from the service to the ambiance to the food — was handled with care and elegance. This wasn’t just a hotel stay, it was a curated experience we’ll never forget. We were here to burn a few Hilton points, in general we liked our stay. The room has a relaxing and upscale atmosphere and has good amount of luxury details. we also appreciated the hospitality and friendliness from the staffs. One thing disappointed us is the seafood restaurant recommended by the hotel staff, Lo Storico. It was referred to as a good local non-touristy restaurant, but it was a total tourist trap. Perhaps your recommendations should be updated.

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Vista Lago di Como||We just finished a beautiful stay at Vista Lago di Como and were genuinely impressed on every level. From the moment we arrived, the outstanding service stood out—every staff member took the time to learn our names and greet us with a warm smile.||The rooms were magnificent—spacious, spotless, and perfectly maintained, with a nightly turndown service that was flawless. Being a newly built hotel, everything felt pristine and thoughtfully designed, down to the signature scent in the common spaces.||Its location right in Como was ideal, and with only 19 rooms, the hotel offered a boutique experience unlike anything we’ve had before—personalized, quiet, and refreshingly intimate.||The real highlight? The on-site restaurant. We’ve traveled the world and dined at many fine restaurants, but this may have been the best meal we’ve ever had.||It’s rare that every detail is this dialed in. This was a 10 out of 10 experience in every possible way.

We had a very nice stay overall. The entire staff was wonderful and worked incredibly hard from pre-arrival right up until the last moments to make our stay an enjoyable one. The weather was less than ideal and we had one party member who was recovering from food poisoning; the team was able to help us rearrange our plans to make the most of our stay on the lake despite these challenges, which was great service. A special shout out to Ilaria for her help!||On the opportunities side of the ledger, the linens and bath amenities could use an upgrade. Every member of our party found the sheets scratchy and the bath tissue of lower than expected quality at this price point. Also, while the staff really made the stay and the boutique hotel itself was nice generally, the location was only so-so, along a busy road and port with subpar sound-proofing.||Our consensus view is that this was a solid four star experience at a solid four star hotel.
