We hosted welcome drinks for our wedding at VISUALS Rooftop Bar and couldn't be happier with the decision. For a reasonable fee, we were able to reserve a significant portion of the rooftop with our own dedicated bartender serving (very good) beer and wine. We were happy with the fast communication and easy booking process, and our guests were thrilled with the event overall. I dropped off an easel and welcome board earlier in the day, and the team had set it all up by the time guests arrived. Best of all, the VISUALS patio gave our group a great view of the mountains during sunset, and it was a perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend.

Stop by on a sunny afternoon for an amazing breeze, a handcrafted spritz featuring their own seasonal very special solstice seasonal release liqueur, and a delish snack from the bar downstairs at Burial. One of the best underrated undiscovered rooftops in Avl!

Checked this place out after a dinner at Wicked Weed. Up a good flight of stairs. Bathroom is back down the stairs in Burial Beer area and was like a tinderbox in this 90 degree heat days. The bartenders were very attentive, friendly, informative. The mood was fresh and light and unpretentious. The rooftop is divided into room like sections, all wood and open. Good air flow while providing some privacy. Lots of cushions and seating with some canopies to shield from the sun. It faces southwest so the evening sun was still quite strong. While being rooftop it’s not one of those high high up ones where one can see miles. You see a lot of the lower South Slope streets, over to Biltmore Ave where Mission begins-saw MAMA helicopter going in for a land-and way off in the distance Mt Pisgah. I got a mocktail and it was fresh, cold and the elderflower gave it a lovely floral taste. We specifically went there because they had several mocktails on the menu. I love a real mocktail that’s thoughtfully crafted versus trying to make an obviously alcoholic drink virgin-always comes out too sweet or something weird. The two drinks the bartender recommended to my husband he really enjoyed. They aren’t open late but I’d definitely go back for an evening with a bunch of friends.

My drink had to have been made wrong because it was just terrible and expensive. I had the not aperol spritz from the menu and it was so bad. To management: the bartender just used the batch cocktail and club soda, is that right? It honestly tasted like there was no spirit and just made wrong. Staff had attitude but the view was very nice.
