Vitae Hostel

Omg one of the best city hostels I’ve ever stayed in - ended up extending after my first night. Everyone was so so lovely, especially Rachel. The hostel itself was amazing: great location, clean, good facilities. But the best part is for sure the activities!! Recommend the bottomless brunch and the boat party. Thanks so much for such a perfect time, hope to come back again soon xxo

Ive stayed in over 50 hostels and never have i felt more welcomed than at Vitae. The volunteers were some of the most hospitable and friendly people I’ve met traveling. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in Budapest.

Such a friendly atmosphere! The staff made me feel so welcome and were very helpful with any queries I had. Events organised every night and often there are activities organised by the hostel during the day. If you’re looking for a safe and comfortable hostel experience this is the place to go!

I honestly did not know what to expect when booking this hostel but it was one of the cheaper options with good reviews so I booked it. My sister and I absolutely loved it the staff were very accommodating and were truly there for the guests. Its location is right near some of the best clubs in Budapest. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a great place to stay especially if you’re younger and plan on going out at night. I also forgot my coat and AirPods there and they sent my items back to me, so very trustworthy too!

Staying at this hostel was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hostel is managed by young students and travelers and the atmosphere is so open and friendly to everyone who stays at the hostel. To me this place felt like a little family. Every night the staff organizes creative activities in and out of the hostel for very reasonable prices. I visited together with a friend, but most other visitors were traveling alone and had no trouble whatsoever finding company and having an incredible time. Being back home is sad to me now because I miss this hostel just so much:((

The hostel is fine to stay at, with friendly and approachable staff. It’s clean, and the makeup counter is a nice bonus. However, we were absolutely freezing in our room because there was no heating. The staff looked at it multiple times however it did not get turned on or resolved in the two days we were there. It was quite an uncomfortable stay and considering the price we were left cold and disappointed.

If you don’t stay at vitae while you’re in Buda then you are missing out. Was definitely the best hostel experience I had while being in Europe. The staff are all so welcoming and make sure that everyone is having a great time. While you’re there you’ll feel like you’re apart of a family and it makes it very hard to leave. All the activities are super organised and so much fun. You’ll never feel lonely here because there’s always someone willing to hangout. Thanks so much vitae I miss you all and I can’t wait to come back again ❤️
