We booked this room for our stay during the World Cup. I was nervous as the hotel did not require a deposit, but everything went smoothly during check in. The room is basic and the bathrooms are clean. However, the location is on a main street and there is a lot of noise in the mornings. The Costa Rica National Soccer team stayed nearby so we felt safe in the area. The main strip of beaches/restaurants is about 10-15 minutes walk.||||Wifi is bad. Our devices would get kicked off and connecting back was hit or miss. I sent in my laundry and what would be $10 in New York was $30 at the Pousada. I wasn’t happy about that. For check out, we asked them to store our bags and they left it in the lobby where in theory someone could have gone into our belongings. Why couldn’t they store it in a closet? ||||Overall, you get what you pay for. It’s cheaper than some of the other accommodations in Recife, but if you don’t mind lowering your expectations, it will be okay. The staff members were nice, but minimal English.
