Amazing Italian food! Delicious complimentary bread and oil/balsamic vinegar. Their Sicilian pizza is fantastic! And I enjoyed my generous amount on the eggplant parmesan appetizer (my meal today). The prices are reasonable and they have a nice mixed drink selection, a good amount of beers including local ones, a wine list to choose from, and their iced tea is brewed fresh and very tasty. Nothing more to say other than Vito's is great and you're missing out if you don't eat here!

If you’re heading to the Fox Theatre and need a solid dinner spot beforehand, Vito’s Sicilian Pizzeria & Ristorante is a must. This cozy, family-owned spot in St. Louis serves up comforting Italian dishes that hit the spot. I tried the seafood ravioli, July moly so rich, creamy, and just the right size. The sauce had that perfect silky texture that made you want to wipe the plate clean with bread. We also had the Caprese salad, which came with thick slices of fresh mozzarella and juicy tomatoes. Be sure to snag a reservation. This place gets busy, and for good reason. I will definitely be back for a thick Sicilian pizza.

I dined here for lunch on 8-16-24. I ordered the lunch buffet which consisted of pasta, pizza and salad bar. The pasta was very good, it was cooked perfectly and had some good seasoning on it. I also had the pizza off the buffet, it was Italian sausage and pepperoni. It tasted very good, the outside crust was crunchy. I wish they had some other pizzas with different toppings but it was very good with the toppings the pizzas had today. I didn't have any salad but it looked like the lettuce and other things on the salad bar was fresh. I had unsweet tea for my drink, it tasted good, I had 2 glasses of tea with my meal. The price for the buffet and drink was less than $20 which isn't bad for the meal. This was my first time eating here but I will be definitely coming back again very soon.

Always a GREAT time! Had been a while since our ladt visit, was reminded again tonight how wonderful it was. And the large portions.

Superb place to grab a great meal and cocktail in a convivial and warm setting before a show. Be warned…the pizzas looked to die for, but if they are busy they can take awhile. Thankfully Jess the queen of bartenders was super on the ball to let us know pasta and appetizers would come out of the kitchen quicker to get us to the show on time. In the meantime she fixed me up with the best martini I have had in a long while. Will for sure go back soon with more time to enjoy a Sicilian pie! Highly recommended!

Lovely patio seating! The flowers are gorgeous 😍 We shared the Prosciutto and Arugula pizza and the white sangria.. Both so delishes!! The servers also really attentive and friendly. Great service! The inside of the restaurant is really cute too...Go check it out. Deliziosa!

Google
What a great place to eat dinner! There is also a lunch buffet available during the week. Be sure to get reservations if it's on a night where the Fabulous Fox has something going. It is a favorite restaurant to eat and then head to the Fox. We had the Linguini Tutto Mare and the Seafood Ravioli. Everything was just fabulous.

Yelp
Once again, I am writing a review for my favorite lunch spot in midtown - Vito's! My friend and I visited for lunch earlier this week and had a nice meal. And I have to give major props to Vito as he was all alone on the floor during the lunch rush - he was taking care of all of the tables and running drinks and food orders all by himself (with a smile of course). Rather than ordering the buffet for lunch, I really just wanted to have a sandwich and my dining partner ordered a pasta dish. I rarely order the sandwiches, so this was a nice surprise for me. I have had the chicken part before, but this time I ordered the chicken bocca which was tasty! Warm bread, crispy with chicken, spinach and a nice drizzle of honey dijon lemon sauce (it usually is served with prosciutto, but I asked to have that taken off). Overall, this was an easy panini and I would recommend it and I would order it again. Vito took care of us and made sure we had water at the table and he even brought over some bread for us while dining. I think he did a nice job considering he was all alone on the floor. Whether you go for lunch, happy hour or dinner, you will be happy with your meal and I recommend giving their panini's a try if you haven't. Even the fries on the side were tasty!

Yelp
Our main restaurant when looking for a delicious Italian meal we are semi regulars enough to know the menu and still take time to decide because of so many good choices. Today it was calamari appetizers and tutto mare's my favorite good food fast service quiet atmosphere our favorite

Yelp
I was working in the area and craving Italian food. I do not regret my decision to order takeout out and will probably add this place to my list of favorites. I ordered the eggplant parm for an appetizer and it was fantastic. Eggplant cooked perfectly, great seasoning and flavors to the sauce, not too much cheese. Then I had the fettuccine Alfredo. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was rich but fresh and not over powering. Lastly, of course I had to get dessert and the tiramisu was superb! The food tasted like an Italian grandma made it specially for me. Portions were a good size so I can't complain about having some leftovers for tomorrow!!

Yelp
We came for a dinner reservation before a Fox show. I definitely recommend booking no later than 6pm to allow for plenty of time to be served/ eat without feeling rushed. I was happy when the server asked if we were there for a show; presumably so our food came out quicker? The last time I dined here was just after the world opened up in 2021 and the staffing issues caused over an hour in service delays. This time the service was friendly and much faster. The arancini came out piping hot and were delicious! We split the traditional Sicilian pizza whose crust was very foccacia-like. I was expecting a thicker hand-tossed, brick oven style, but it was alright. Skip this if you're short on time because it took a while to come out. Food is over priced, but you're paying for location

Yelp
I love Vito's. Have been coming for years. The owner is a nice guy, and Vito's is a staple in the area. Not sure why their rating isn't higher.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this restaurant after living in STL my whole life. The ingredients were so rich and fresh. The pizza was very fresh on the buffet and they had them rotating as well. The salad bar ingredients were so fresh and delicious. The ambience was nothing short of amazing, felt like I was in Italian pizzeria.

Yelp
I've been coming to Vito's for many years, and their food never disappointments. They have the best warm and fresh bread that is served before your meal with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. If you're looking for a drink recommendation, definitely order the white sangria or the Italian margarita. My favorite entree is the Basil Pesto Penne. It is perfectly creamy and flavorful. However, I also love the Rigatoni Norma and the Chicken Pesto Pizza. Although I primarily eat here for dinner, they have a really great lunch menu as well. Highly recommend the Chicken Parm Panini for lunch! Service is seemingly hit or miss. I've had outstanding service here, but I've also had not-so-great experiences as well, when thinking about friendliness, attentiveness, and personableness. However, more times than not, service is typically not a problem. I absolutely love sitting on their outdoor patio on summer nights! They always have beautiful flowers all around, and the string lights keep everything well lit. I also like that they have umbrellas at each table in case you're wanting some shade. My ONLY complaint is that prices here have noticeably increased in the last couple years. While I totally understand that inflation is very real and prices will inevitably increase over time at any establishment, it appears that all menu items have drastically gone up in the last couple years. When I came here about three years ago, the most inexpensive pasta dish was about $14 or $15. Now, the cheapest pasta is $18. Same with the pizzas. For the amount of pizza, unfortunately I don't think I can justify spending that much on it anymore, especially if prices continue increasing like they've been. I used to be a frequent regular here, but now I only come every few months. I absolutely love Vito's and always will, so don't take my price comment the wrong way. Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
I ordered for delivery. I have ordered four house salads, a Caesar, two pizzas, pasta, toasted ravioli and salmon so a rather large order. When I received my order the driver was not given the full order. I called and spoke to a female that said my food was still there and she just forgot to give the bag to the driver. The The restaurant refused to deliver it personally, we are less than a mile away. I had to physically drive back and my food sat for AN HOUR. I came in to pick it up and the blonde at the front desk and brunette with black glasses ignored me as I stood there for ten minutes until I interrupted them. I dislike doing this but my food had already been sitting for so long. These two were also helping a customer because she was charged the wrong amount. Complete chaos. The gentlemen who came out with a backwards ball cap, brown hair with a short beard was so so kind. This man remade our pizza so they were fresh and added dessert for us. He is the only reason for the three stars

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I'm not a huge fan of pizza, I used to work down Lindell, and I frequently order pizza for my events. All that said, I loved this pizza, I totally missed out when I worked on Lindell and I'll be seeing if they can provide for some of my events. I drive past this place ALL THE TIME but I've never gone in because I'm just not a pizza person. (Or so I thought.) We went in after an event because my friend wanted Italian and I'd never been here. She wanted pasta and I wasn't that hungry. But then I saw my fave...calamari, on the menu. Yes please. My friend ordered a salad that she offered to share but while I eat a salad every day I just wasn't feeling it. She changed her mind and decided she wanted pizza instead of pasta and I was like "okay whatever". She had a beer and I had a Sicilian Mule. My drink was perfect. Our calamari came and it was good. Actually typical. Her salad arrived. It was huge and loaded with toppings. We were given bread. It was hard, doughy and perfect. The sizes of the "rolls" were just the right size. Tasted great with the olive oil. Then the pizza arrived. The smell was phenomenal but the taste... just unbelievable. Truly. This... in my opinion... was the best pizza I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, the prosciutto and the basil, tomatoes and portobello mushrooms meshed together perfectly. The fresh mozzarella was all over the place... no skimping here. Seriously, the best pizza I've ever had. Needless to say, I'm thinking about going back next week for pizza!

Yelp
Vito's is one of our go to restaurants when seeing a show at the Fox. And their popularity shows. They are always super busy on show nights so make sure you make a reservation. Service can be a little slow because of that, but the servers are constantly running around and make sure you get to the show on time. I've rotated through their pastas, and the tortellini is one of my favorites. Meaty pasta and a rich cream sauce. They also serve complimentary bread with olive oil/balsamic for dipping.

Yelp
amazing food!! Also such a cute little place to eat. I had pink sauce with fettuccine and it's 10/10. I highly recommend this place

Yelp
I try to be fair when writing reviews because their impact can be broad based. We all have different tastes in food, but I can't imagine who would be satisfied with what this kitchen turns out; although mine at our table ordered pizza and maybe that's the attraction. Garlic cheese bread appetizer was soggy and tasteless. The mains were equally as distasteful. Beef meatballs with spaghetti sauce was an insult to my taste buds. The "meat" being some kind of unrecognizable filler and the product was an unseemly gray matter that looked like it came off the shelf at Petco. The salmon with pasta was acceptable but the other pasta dishes were unique but awful. All diners ate less than half of the portions. Service was very slow on a near empty Monday night. While its location close by the Grand Cultural District may attract some, this place is best ignored. It is just bad!!

Yelp
I went to a Christmas party here. They do have a very small parking lot and metered street parking is available. It's nicely decorated for the holiday. Great ambiance with candles on the tables. They have 2 seating areas and one with a bar. I enjoyed a nice sangria. We had pizza, mozzarella sticks, bruschetta, spinach artichoke dip and arancini. Their pizza has a nice amount of tomato sauce and is very seasoned- I love that! Everything was delicious and the service was great. Friendly staff. It's a great spot for a meal when seeing a performance at the Fox. If you enjoyed great tasting pizza try Vito's.

Yelp
Had to get another punch on my StL Pizza Passport. Headed to Vito's before the Chilully Nights at the Missouri Botanical Gardens We were seated right away and drinks were good We always get the Arancini.... Never disappoints. Tried the Panzanella Salad. Hard pass. I was hoping for a Good Italian Salad and this wasn't it! Loved the Pizza. The Hand-tossed is my favorite as I get tired of the thin sometimes. Sausage/Pepperoni/Mushrooms.... It was perfect size to share with me and the Hubby Tip: when you check in with Yelp you are offered a Deal of a Free scoop of Gelato. Well they don't have Gelato anymore so ask if they can substitute something!!! We snagged a piece of cheesecake for 50% off.

Yelp
My daughter graduated from Saint Louis University today and her program had a reception at Vito's for the graduates and family. I had never been here before but was pleasantly surprised at the beer and wine selection as well as the quality of the food. We just had pizza and heavy appetizers for the event in the bar, but everything was great. Also a really good selection of local beers and Italian beers as well as a really good wine by the glass selection. Definitely coming back here for dinner sometime. Really nice outdoor patio as well.

Yelp
Had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Vito's! The service was great and the food was superb. The chicken parm and white sauce pasta was awesome. Great toasted ravioli as well! Thanks Vito and crew! You guys were excellent

Yelp
Excellent and more. Vito's ranks among my favorite all time Italian restaurants. Each item ordered was perfectly executed and flawless. The prices were very very reasonable. The Portions were ample. Three items deserve special note. The gravy was was perfect. As good as my family who is right off the boat from Sicily makes it. The eggplant was perfectly cooked, and cooked Sicilian style. That means it was floured only, and without breadcrumbs. That is the way eggplant should be cooked. The meatballs were exceptional. I'm still dreaming about them. The pasta was cooked perfectly, just the right level of al dente. We also tried the pizza which was great, and the salmon, which was great. The staff was extremely friendly. The service was great and the staff seem to genuinely enjoy their job. I unreservedly highly recommend Vito's. The ambience was low key and chill Italian.

Yelp
I am conflicted when writing this review. Our server was great and attentive. However there was a biased picking up peoples plates when they weren't even done. My boyfriend was enjoying his leftover tortellini sauce and she just took his plate. The ambience was casual, had a few tv's, a bar, high tables. Good for a casual date night, not the spot if you want a fancy experience. As for the food, it was okay. I had to season my food with a generous amount of pepper and cheese because it was lacking a lot of flavor. The noodles felt a bit undercooked and I would have expected them to be made in house but they taste straight out of a box. I had an uncomfortable occurrence though. I checked in on Yelp and I said to redeem a reward for a free gelato. I asked the server and he was nice about it, and I was okay with it. However once he left he went back to the bar and we overheard him mention the gelato situation to a bar hand. It felt like they were making fun of us, and I did not appreciate it.

Yelp
I'm an online entertainment and food critic and an influencer. I know Vito's, with multiple location in St Louis, has a good reputation and I've had good meals there. However, unfortunately, since I started writing restaurant reviews, tonight was horrible. It was explained to me that Vito's has a new head chef but he has a learning curve to solve and better do it in a hurry. Ordered the Chicken Piccata sautéed in a lemon white wine sauce, with a side of fettuccini noodles and broccoli. There was absolutely NO sauce at all except for a tiny hint of it at the bottom of the chicken. Tasted like a dull breaded moist chicken breast no better than fast food. Normally in an Italian restaurant they drown food in sauce. The fettuccini had so little sauce on it you hardly tasted it so again, the noodles were dull. We also ordered the Bacon Arugula Tomato BLT Pizza in white balsamic. We had to ask to bring additional white balsamic on the side since there didn't seem to be any on the pizza. To add final insult to injury, their bread is fantastic and we were craving it when we sat down. We never got it and the server said they were baking some and we'd get fresh bread right out of the oven. We never got it and the server said, it was the pizza makers responsibility to bake the bread and he didn't do it. To the servers credit, by the time we paid and were ready to leave, she brought us some bread in a to go container. The server was sweet and very apologetic and told us she would tell Vito about our issues. I'm not the kind that would say I'm never going back but I'm going to give it a while to see if the new chef gets his act together and can serve up great meals to Vito's high expectations. But my review was for tonight, not the past and not the future, so based on tonight I have to give it only 2 stars and hope it gets better....or gets a new chef.

Yelp
Went for lunch one day with the guys at work and holy moly. A lunch buffet absolutely! How good this place smelt puts Jimmy John's down for the count on the "free smells" factor. Pizza was excellent 2-4 at a time. pep, cheese, sausage then look like a loaded one but no mushrooms or olives for me. Salad was good two options of lettuce a few toppings. Broccoli, onion, tomato, parm cheese. ranch, oil(really really good). They did have a dish of pasta at the end mostaccioli looked good. One of us got it and liked it but the pizza was great. Crust you want to eat definitely some very good stuff. A+ pizza i'm sure even if you pick up.

Yelp
Sunday March 9th going to the Fox Theater. Made reservations for 3 guests at 4:45 pm. Upon entering we were seated right away. Ordered a glass of Moscato and 3 glasses of water along with an order of toasted ravioli for an appetizer. Followed up with a house and ceasar salad. Entrees included chicken fettuccine, tortellini, and seafood ravioli. Service and food were excellent in spite of the place being pretty busy. Decor and noise level acceptable to amount of business. Appears to be great place to go before the theater.

Byron M.

Yelp
Service was awful. They lost our order. Then brought the wrong order. Instead of a restaurant that has been in business several years it seems they just started in the restaurant business.

Yelp
I went to Vito's with a friend for dinner on a weekday night. The parking was easy. There are plenty of street parking spots nearby. We didn't make a reservation but were seated not long after we arrived. The service was great. All the staffs were friendly. I ordered Old School Sicilian. I waited a bit for the pizza. But the wait was worth it. The pizza was delicious - rich and thick.' Overall, it was a great place for having dinner with friends. I will go back to try other items from their menu!

Yelp
The food was terrific. Very well presented, large portions (great lunch for tomorrow), generous sauce, great flavor. The red sangria was outstanding, and the serving size was quite nice. This was our 2nd time here; both times, the service was a little slow. Nothing earth shattering, but something to consider if you're grabbing a bite to eat on a timeline. The server was very attentive, the problem seemed to be with the kitchen/bar. Several times, our server stopped to ask if we had gotten ~fill in the blank~ yet, and we had not, despite it being a bit of a wait since ordering. They have a lovely outdoor seating area- highly recommend if the weather is cooperative. Overall, we really like the place and will be back, but only when we're not in a time crunch.

Yelp
Going to the Fox or Powel Hall? Go to Vito's beforehand. You won't be disappointed. This family owned restaurant has authentic Sicilian recipes that are just delicious. I was worried at first because we had our 9 month old grand son with us. They seated us in a booth that provided some privacy. We started with the calamari. Definitely get the calamari! The menu has so many great options it's hard to choose! But we all really enjoyed our meals. Everything came out on time and we didn't feel rushed at all. Just a great experience all around. We will go back!

Yelp
Good effort but there's room for improvement... It has now become a tradition for me to have pesto every year on my birthday. I figured it's my day, so why not? I came here on a Tuesday, pretty early in fact and was surprised by how full it was! I had just gotten in from Miami earlier that day and figured I'd wing it because why would an Italian restaurant be packed on a Tuesday? I walked in and while I saw several empty two tops not bussed but could potentially become available, they offered me a seat at the bar. I was starving and I figured why not? Here's where things took a slight turn. I waited approx 7-8 minutes yes, seven-eight minutes before I was given water. The bartender and her assistant kept saying they'd be right with me but you and I both know that's rarely the case. Her assistant ended up giving me water but I was shocked that he poured water in the smallest glass possible instead of a regular glass like the other patrons had. (See picture for reference). I immediately asked if I could get a bigger glass and he was happy to accommodate (so why didn't I get that to begin with)? I digress. I already knew what I wanted but was continually ignored/ "put on pause" while they continued making drinks and what not. I went ahead and got a salad and a glass of Prosecco because I really needed something in my stomach. The salad took a while but it was pretty good. It was nothing special; however, I really enjoyed the croutons! They had a nice flavor and were crunchy, which is always a treat. I began to get frustrated because it seemed like I kept having to ask for things. I had to ask to get a bigger glass of water and for bread and balsamic and even that took a while. When my food came, it was way bigger than I expected. I would have much preferred a half-size but I didn't see anything like that on the menu. The pesto itself was pretty good. I definitely tasted way more garlic than I'm accustomed to, so much that I felt like it overpowered the rest of the ingredients. The chicken had a nice char and was well-seasoned. Although I came here for pesto, all I got was garlic. Overall, the service was spotty at best but left much room for improvement and I mean lots of improvement. I think I'm good on Vito's for awhile....

Yelp
It was a theater night and we decided at the last minute to go to dinner. Not many options close to the Fox, but Vito's is the best and closest within walking distance to the theater. But don't just go when you have Fox tickets. It is great Italian, gracious service. Had to sit at the bar , but no complaints on service and food presentations and the bartender provides entertainment with mixing and fixing drinks!! I ordered calamari which was tender served with tomato based sauce and the house salad. Plenty of food and add some pizza bread ends dipped in oil/balsamic and tummy happy! The place was jamming so make reservations if possible or get there before dinner rush.
google avatar

Yelp
We had dinner here last night before going to the Fox. Made reservations over a month ago. At first they tried to seat us at a high top next to the door. Not going to work when there are other tables available. We were moved. We ordered toasted ravs which were good. My son had pizza, husband had lasagna and DIL had pasta. I ordered calamari to come out with the meals as dinner. It was look warm, they must have dropped it as a appetizer. Since we had plans I let it go. It was a shame because even warm it was good. We will give them a try again in the future. But no more luke warm food.

Yelp
This is a small hole in the wall yet adorable Ma and Pop type place. From the perfect lighting and music to the little lady checking in on you. I imagine it's her family restaurant. We went before a show at the Chaifetz Arena on a Saturday evening and lucked out with a 25 minute wait. We had a glass of delicious Pinot Grigio while we waited. The vibe was very "family". About 10 people in a party ordered wine after us and they were so busy at the bar that they just said for us to settle our bar bill later. They sat us in a cute black table, which was very cozy. We split a Vito's Super pizza. It comes with Italian sausage, pepperoni, black olive, green pepper, red onion, tomato, mushroom, ham. The thin chewy crust was divine. The fresh mozzarella was so delicious. Flavor explosion. We saw other dishes being delivered to other happy gas and decided we need to come back as soon as we can, and try other things on the menu.

Christina Z.

Yelp
Service took a minute to seat us but we're quick and efficient the rest of our time there. Food was great!! We started with cheese garlic bread and Bruschetta which we both well balanced and flavorful. I got the pesto penne which was good but very heavy and oily. The pine nuts came through but the basil wasn't as strong and it could've been.

Quinn J.

Yelp
Cute little establishment across from SLU. Our server was nice but not well trained on the menu. We had questions that they just couldn't answer and if the option wasn't on their Toast machine then we didn't get it. The food was just ok. The spaghetti and meatballs were good. Well, the spaghetti and sauce were good. The meatball just had a weird taste. We ordered the cheese bread and arancini. The cheese bread was great. The arancini were not. We also got a Cesar salad and this is what was most disappointing. $9 for a side salad. This is their only size and it was so tiny. The bread crumbs were chewy and the dressing was sweet, not like a traditional Cesar salad dressing Overall, the food was ok and the price was high. Service wasn't ideal. Maybe an off night but not a place we will be back to.

Mark C.

Yelp
We stopped in for the lunch buffet and were totally disappointed. Although we were seated quickly and given menus, we sat for at least 10 mins with no further interaction, even drink orders were not taken. In the meantime the host/waiter seated 5 more tables and also never took orders. When we arrived there was two 1/2 pizzas on the buffet. When we left there wasn't a pizza on the buffet. It appears there was one waiter/host and 1 cook for the entire restaurant.

Yelp
Ate here before a show at the Fox. We didn't make reservations- that would've been a good idea but that's on us for not planning ahead. They seated us outside and we enjoyed a nice salad and yummy brick oven pizza. We'll be back again, with reservations, and try some more of the menu. Service was nice and they got us out in time to not be late for our show.

Yelp
We stopped here for a quick dinner before a show at the fox. We had a little wait, but they were empty by 7:30 when the show started. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I have pretty high standards when it comes to Italian food, and I felt at home here. Everything from the service to the delicious pizza was everything I could've hoped for. The calamari was delicious. The pizza was top notch. I cannot wait to go back and try the pasta and dessert when I am not in a rush.

Yelp
Decent sized restaurant with street parking and small parking lots in both the front and back of the building. We were seated quickly and the service was good. Food was great but unfortunately our pizza order was wrong. We were offered to have the pizza taken back to the kitchen to have the pepperoni broiled on top but declined. Would have been nice to have had a manager stop by to offer their apologies though. Happy to return and try again.

Yelp
It doesn't get any better than Vito's fine Italian dinning. Every time my wife and I go there the food is awesome. Last time we went there with a fairly large group after 8pm on a Monday and the food came out on time and tasted great. The weather was nice so we ate on the patio which provided us with a nice ambiance.

Yelp
Had an early dinner here before going to a show at the Enterprise Center. I had the lasagna and my wife had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both dishes had large portions and were impressive for a pizza place! Also, if you were going to the Fox theater, it is maybe a 2 minute walk away. Will be back to try their pizza!

Yelp
Ordered a delivery order using door dash. Food finally prepared and put out for delivery one hour late. By that time multiple delivery drivers were involved because of the ridiculous wait time and it was a mess. Tried calling several times and no one picked up. Finally stayed in line for 10 minutes and was told there is nothing they could do as there was a dinner rush and that's just how it goes. Smug attitude and very rude on the phone the person hung up saying I said sorry so that's it. Unacceptable. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Yelp
We ate here last night and the food was excellent! The panzanella salad had fresh greens and delicious ingredients. The lasagna was authentic home cooking, just like my Italian Auntie made. The Sicilian pizza was like no other! We will definitely be back. Good food, drinks and atmosphere. Mama Vita made us feel like part of the family and opened the patio so we could eat with our pups. This place is a hidden gem right across from SLU. Don't miss out.

Yelp
I just paid $19 for some pizza and mostaccioli that had been under a heat lamp for at least an hour. Caesar salad was fresh, but croutons were spongy. Not worth it. This buffet used to be a lot better.

Yelp
It's all about the family! I love this place I just recently visited to grab a quick bite before a networking event and they got me in and out and no time. The owner was there, grandma, daughter and her kiddos it was just all the warmth and love you think of with a good Sicilian restaurant! The food was great as always, hot and fresh and gooey cheese in the risotto balls. Salad is always fresh tossed with the perfect oil and vinegar dressing with lots of olives which I love and fresh mozzarella. And don't forget the rolls, just give me a block of butter and I'll never stop eating. Great place for a date night or a family night with a larger party. Also, try the pizza!

Yelp
We sat on the patio for dinner. The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing! We had the Caprese salad, Eggplant Parmigiana and Seafood Ravioli. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent and the waiter and manager was very att

Yelp
Good food. Pizza was very doughy. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars. I got the four cheese and it has good cheese but was really doughy.

Yelp
We made reservations in advance and I was happy we were seated in a timely manner upon arrival. The pizza and dough were very good the salmon pasta was very oily and would get a pizza next time. We also had the Italian margarita which was good and glad I got to try something new. There is bar seating and dining room, I may have preferred to sit in the dining side for a more intimate meeting. The service was good and location is great before heading to the fox. I may go back but try the pizza next time.

Yelp
Vito's has been on our list of favorites for years. When I am here it is all family time, so I am mostly phone free. We eat and drink and normally head to The Fox after. We have also had parties here and small dinners out with friends. The Bar is always hopping and has some great wines and specialty drinks. Favorites foods include Arancini, Toasted Ravioli, Panzanella, Lasagna, Tortellini, Sicilian Pizza, and of course Gelato. Take out game is strong here; they do a wonderful job of wrapping up the food. The staff is always very hardworking. I will be back soon.

Yelp
If you're looking for great Italian food, this is an awesome place. The ambiance is great and the service is fast. We walked in with a packed crowd and found 2 spots at the bar. The menu has some great options, but the basis of this place... the gravy/sauce is dynamite! We had the Arancini appetizer and was so happy with our choice. The flavor was amazing! They have a great wine menu for all the wine-o's out there!

Yelp
I read the average reviews and I decided to go, based on a personal recommendation. I didn't meet Vito, but his tortellini was the best I've had anywhere. Tortellini can be chewy like pasta-flavored bubble gum, and I'm not into that. This was tender like an Italian love song, and creamy like the top of the Matterhorn, nearly sending me into a food coma.. The service was also very good.
