James at Vittone has been my tailor as a professional Jazz musician for the last decade. He started just altering suits I brought (which his guys do very well), but frequently I also have bought his own custom suits, blazers, shirts and they're all of the utmost quality. Customer service is great, and I have referred and recommended many friends there. Can't recommend enough!

I highly recommend Vittone Tailors and James. James is extremely talented and turned my ill fitted bridesmaid dress into a one of a kind master piece. Not only did the dress look 1000x better, but he was able to do the alterations in less than 4 days and was very responsive to all of my questions. I will definitely be a repeat client and all my friends have already asked for his contact info.

Finally have found an excellent tailor, that I look forward to using moving forward. I called with a same day request after a custom top for a friends wedding was done poorly (and I fly to India that night). James was extremely responsive, patient, and treated my garment with care. It now looks perfect! Highly, highly recommend.

If you're looking for the best tailor in New York, then Jimmy from Vittone is the one you should go to. I personally travel from Long Island to the city just to have him work on my clothes, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. I trust him completely with any piece of clothing I bring him, whether it's a suit, a jacket, or a pair of pants. Jimmy is familiar with the highest-end brands and tailors each piece to perfection. Everyone I've ever recommended to him says they will never go anywhere else again. He has a way of ensuring that his customers are completely satisfied with his work. He takes the time to listen to what you want and makes sure that he delivers exactly that. If you're looking for a tailor who knows how to make you look and feel your best, then Jimmy is the one to go to. He's the best in the business, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my clothing.

I never write reviews but I’m writing one because James is amazing !!! In a panic this morning my husband had to get a last minute tux from Macys. It was a little too long so I called around tailors in the area and James had the best reviews, with the best price, and told us it would take him 30 minutes. He was SO nice and so calming. He asked my husband if he wanted the pants tapered to make them more slim fit and I was like “you have time??” He said yeah, 30 minutes!! He truly saved the day and is the best. Going back to James from here on out!!

Highly recommend! I had an emergency/last minute item that needed to be tailored and found James based on location to my office. Beyond happy that I did and will bring all of my tailoring to him. Super talented, easy to work with and very kind.
