My first time there with my girlfriend for her birthday. We both are gluten free, I have celiac disease but read that they are very safe to eat at their restaurant. There menu items is not marked gluten free but out server was very know about what and what not to order. We started off with fried calamari for an app. It was absolutely delicious and not chewy at all. Main course my girlfriend got the Halibut and I got the NY strip steak cooked medium rare with garlic spinach and roasted potatoes in a truffle Parmesan cheese. Steak was cooked on point and it had to weight 3 lbs if not more. I was ate the whole steak but it definitely took some time. Everything was so so good. We were stuffed. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert.

We came here with 12 people and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and satisfying. The portions are huge! So bring your appetite. I believe our waiters name was Andrea, he was very nice and helpful to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back.

It was an absolute joy to decorate for a recent baby shower at the wonderful Vittorio's! The restaurant provided such a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, which made our job as decorators even more delightful. From the moment we arrived, the staff at Vittorio's were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The space itself was perfect for the celebration, offering a charming backdrop that truly enhanced our decorations. We received so many compliments on how lovely everything looked, and a huge part of that success was due to the fantastic venue. Vittorio's is the spot to make a memorable and picture-perfect event!

Confusing meal! No time to look at menu, and waiter didn’t let me read it he just kept telling me what to order. Got calimari which was good but then they started to clear it and the plates before we were even finished. Veal parm was somehow both overcooked and undercooked. The meat was dead and chewy, tasted like an overcooked steak with chewy fatty bits. Mozzarella was barely melted and had nearly no browning. It was really clear they were trying to rush our food out and rush us out the door. One of the worst meals I’ve had in recent memory. Bonus points for the waiter who spilled water all over my leg every time he refilled my water. Place was packed, which was the most confusing part.

Can’t say enough good things about Vittorio’s! We made the trip to Amityville from about 30 minutes away and it was well worth it. The inside of the restaurant has beautiful exposed brick and gives off a wonderful atmosphere, the service was extraordinary (thank you, Andrea!) and the food was fantastic. Especially the veal parm! There were plenty of gluten free options as well (be sure to ask), including some of the best gluten free calamari I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!

You will never be disappointed. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. This is my favorite place to enjoy any celebration, or maybe you're just in the mood for an top notch meal.

I went here with a group of 8 and it was everyone’s first time here. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and from the moment we arrived we were greeted and the service was phenomenal. Teresa our waitress was amazing. We ordered appetizers which included the mussels, baked clams and fried calamari and all of them were delicious, the calamari was some of the best I’ve had as well as the baked clams. For entrees I got the bone in strip special, and my wife the sea scallops. Both had great flavors and were perfectly cooked. The have quite a number of desserts on the menu and we tried several of them, all tasted great. I have to say this was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a while. Everything was high quality and delicious. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
You haven't lived until you've experienced a night at @vittorios_italian_steakhouse in Amityville! Perfect date night spot with a soft, warm vibe that sets the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. For the Appetizers, we ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Bruschette - my besties favorite! Everyday there is a new special for the Tuna. This one was similar to Sashimi with wasabi-like sauces and the freshest Ginger slices. *Drinks: Jalapeño Blackberry Margarita and bestie had the White Peach Cosmo   Dive into their 24oz Dry-Aged Rib Eye Steak, a piece of meat so tender it melts in your mouth, no steak sauce needed. Pair it with creamed spinach and truffle Parmesan fries. And don't miss their Garganelli with veal in sage ragu. I'm SO HAPPY I ordered this because it ended up being my favorite (along with the steak ofcourse!) We also enjoyed the frestest piece of Tuna I've ever tried, topped with big fat pieces of Shrimp over a creamy risotto and green beans. It was light and helped us save just enough room for dessert. Which we tried the warm chocolate chip cookie cake with vanilla ice cream, Coconut & Banana pie and a little Chocolate Peanut Butter dream!   I'm coming back for it all next time!! Vittorio's is not just a restaurant; it's an experience you won't forget!

Yelp
The term 'old school' gets thrown around a lot these days, but I honestly can't think of a better way to describe the experience at Vittorio's. With every interaction, every item served and every bite taken the thought that hit me was 'this is what I remember, this is how it's supposed to be done'. Wifey and I had our anniversary dinner here and were thoroughly blown away from start to finish. Our server Theresa was an absolute rockstar, not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable on what they had to offer - you could tell she genuinely cared about the experience patrons have, always a good sign. Started with the calamari appetizer - when we first walked in the aroma of it hit me, likely from another table, and we knew pretty quickly that was what we wanted. In the end it was the right choice as they truly do it the right way, dare I say the old school way. These days so many places make this dish blah, it's apparent the pale plate of rings they serve was clearly frozen and the taste proves it. Not the case at Vittorio's - from the first bite you knew this was cut, breaded and fried in house and the taste was something that's very hard to find, the impeccably seasoned sauce put it over the top in a way I can't even describe, it was just perfect. On to the mains: wifey loves a good ribeye, but it's rare to see her react the way she did taking a taste of this. Literally omg & eyes rolling back a la Homer Simpson - pure enjoyment. And when I dug into my veal parm the experience was quite similar. This wasn't your average pizza place veal parm, it was a humongous frisbee sized bone in chop fried to absolute perfection with just the right amount of sauce to enhance but not drown it out if that makes sense. Our whipped potatoes and creamed spinach for the sides were equally delicious, head and shoulders above what you find in most places these days. Stuffed as we were after all this when the dessert tray came over we knew we had to try something. Wifey had heard someone earlier raving about the chocolate peanut butter decadence, so when Theresa told us it was the one we needed to try we knew it was no coincidence. We made the right call here, it was simply divine. All in all this was one of the better meals we've had in a very long time. It's not cheap but this is one of those times where you really do get what you pay for. It'll be a special occasion place going forward, but one that'll be at the top of our list on those days for sure.

Yelp
Atmosphere was amazing, bustling but in the best way. Server was thorough and nice. Food was beyond, i got the salmon.. was melting in my mouth. My boyfriend got the surf and turf- the steak was phenomenal and the lobster was so delish. We also got a bottle & our server (i believe his name was ron or Gary) was sure to keep our glasses full!

Yelp
I frequently visit Vittorios and it's probably my favorite local restaurant. I typically sit at the bar with friends and love the company of Tommy the bartender and anyone to my left and right. Vittorios is a local gem in Amityville filled with locals and regular familiar faces. Drinks are always good and the food is top notch. You can't go wrong with any cut of their steaks or fish and the sides are delish and can definitely be shared. My faves are the special of Artichoke salad, Ahi Tuna and Octopus. The prep on the octopus changes but any way is great. Desserts are also so tasty especially the chocolate decadence. Sunday is brunch, I've only gone once so far but the menu has a great selection and the cocktails are of course flowing. Definitely visit if your are looking in the area!

Yelp
Great choice for a special dinner or a celebration; beautiful and comfortable, great for foodies, and excellent service. A standout for Suffolk county and especially for the south shore Suffolk area!

Yelp
A fantastic spot for any occasion--delicious food, attentive service, and a welcoming ambiance. The menu offers great variety, and every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Will definitely return!

Yelp
Don't miss a prompt take -out lunch without The Most Delicious Original Philly Cheese Steak on Long Island.. Nice and cozy bar area before entering a comfortable and classic warm feeling dining room. Looking forward to experiencing a great Family dinner soon!

Yelp
If I could give ten stars I would , okay? Dear Smokey, Dave, our amazing server, said you're responsible for the bread crumbs!!!!! The perfectly prepped bread crumbs for the baked clams are making my mouth water as I write this review. They were the best baked clams I've had in a very long time! Never change Smokey. The vibe in this restaurant is moody and warm. When you get here you just know the sauce is good. We opted for the baked clams (see above), and the spinach dip appetizer both were enough to keep up very happy if we had not ordered anything else. We most certainly did though! For dinner, I had the shrimp scampi over linguine and my bf had the house special bone-in filet mignon. Both bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We had no room for desert, but in the best way. Dave, you were kind, attentive, and we enjoyed our chat with you about how the steaks are prepared in house! We'll be back ... soon!

Yelp
I love this local spot. I've never had a bad experience or meal. The food is always on point, and their specials are amazing. They have an amazing wait staff and you are never left hanging. I love the ambiance of this place too, it is the perfect date night or special occasions restaurant. Their steaks are amazing! Worth every penny.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing and so tasty. For appetizers we got the octopus which was served with parsnip and a spicy garnish on a plate, which added so much flavor to octopus. 10/10! Then we also got an artichoke salad with pistachios I want to say smoked bacon and shredded parmigiana. Such a unique combination yet again so tasty. I'm not a big fan of pistachios, but the flavor was there and in a way a little citric from a lemon ? Which is maybe why I enjoyed it so much. 10/10 recommend! As for entrees, my finance got the NY strip which according to him was super flavorful cooked to his liking (medium) and super juicy. He got a side of roasted potatoes. I got the filet Mignon cooked medium and truffle fries. My jaw dropped when the truffle fries came out. It was huge. The truffle was truffling. The filet mignon was super juicy and super delicious. As for the drink I got this white peach cosmo and that was just everything I could imagine in a martini glass, I could have endless amounts of the service was spot on. Our waiter was Italian and my fiancé and Andrea were talking about Italy. And he was super attentive. The ambiance was perfect. Highly recommend everything was just a 10/10. My fiancé and I got to ALOT of steakhouses whether it's here or the city and Vittorio's basically beat them all. Mike the owner was so welcoming he made sure we got the best of the best. Theresa also made sure we were happy. We felt very welcomed!

Yelp
Food is good nothing spectacular for an Italian steakhouse. Ambiance needs an update and the barmaid needs to learn how to make a NEGRONI. Service was very very good. Waiter was pleasant and informative

Phyllis C.

Yelp
Food was terrible. Very expensive! Very noisy! Waiter was very nice. Never go on a holiday

Yelp
Vittorio's Steakhouse is an excellent restaurant located in Lindenhurst on Long Island. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for years and we've always received positive feedback when we were referring it to friends and family They are of course known for their steaks, which are truly delicious! We also love their lunch menu, which can be a more affordable option! The service is very old school, where the servers don't write anything down for your order and they remember everything! It brings a nice touch to the ambience of the restaurant, and you truly feel like you are fine dining On their brunch menu, we love their Croc Madame, which is a French breakfast style dish featuring hallauh bread toast, eggs ham. It is truly delicious! For dinner, we love any of their steaks. Each cut of meat is delicious and of very high quality! One of our friends loves their fish options as she is vegetarian, she recommends the Brazilian lobster tails and says they're delicious !! For dessert, you have to get peanut butter chocolate cake. It comes with vanilla ice cream on top and it is a peanut butter lovers dream! Our Favorites: Pear Salad Ny Strip Steak Ribeye Steak Brazilian Lobster Bronzino Croc Madame Creamed Spinach Side Corn Love Side (A MUST) Have you been here? #longisland #longislandeats #longislandfoodie #lifoodie #lifood #eeeeeats #foodandwine #foodies #tryitordiet #devourpower #eatfamous #brunch #lunch #dinner #dailyfoodfeed #eattheworld #cheatdayeats #cheatday #cheatmeal #delicious #foodieztm #foodiesinternationalchat #foodieexplorertribe #foodandbeverageonly

Yelp
Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the host staff and guided to our reserved table. The space was fairly dark with the drapes fully blocking out any light from the outside. The meals came out promptly, with decent portions, and the service was accommodating. Give these people a try, they won't disappoint.

John P.

Yelp
Gourmet food and service. Excellent menu Friendly atmosphere. Make reservations ahead of time.

Yelp
We received a gift card from our parents and so my husband and I came here on a Friday night in November. I reserved a table at 8pm but we arrived early and they were able to seat us at 645pm. The restaurant has a great ambiance: rustic brick walls with dim romantic lighting. It's bustling and small but it's not loud at all and i didn't feel cramped. The service was great. Our server was Italian and very attentive. The complimentary bread and the side of oil/antipasto (garlic, cheese, roasted peppers, celery, seasonings) was probably my favorite bite of the night! Very flavorful and unique. The crab cake appetizer was plated by our server. It was so delicious - had the perfect bite of corn love, crab, and sauce. My hubby got the giant bone in veal chop parm - amazing. And I got the Garganelli pasta with veal sage ragu. Also amazing. Carrot cake dessert was a tad dry but still super yummy. We'll definitely be back here again!

Yelp
Always a great meal at Vittorio's. Very good wine list too. Artichokes are delicious, tuna, crab, Sunday sauce, pork chop - everything. Very good service. Make a reservation ahead of time if you can.

Kerry G.

Yelp
Food is wonderful, service is superb and ambience is old school. The bartender while waiting for our table was friendly and hospitable and we could have been just as happy eating at the bar.

Yelp
My wife and I went specifically for the steak since we heard so many raves about it. WOW! It was an overall 5 Star dinner. First, our server Teresa was awesome! So knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Since we haven't been here in many years, assisted us in the perfect selections. From appetizers to dessert, absolutely delicious. The Rib Eye Steak cooked to perfection and so delicious!! Just what we were hoping for. Thank you so much Vittorio's for a spectacular experience, looking forward to returning again real soon, and Happy New Year!

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations. Could very well be the best steakhouse in Long Island. The tuna tartare melted in my mouth. I had the jalapeño blackberry margarita and it was the perfect sweet and spicy blend. The steaks were PHENOMENAL. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Truffle mashed potatoes, bacon Brussel sprouts, creamed spinach, & truffled hashbrowns all very very good. Leave room for dessert! The apple tart with ice cream was delicious! The servers were all amazing, and I think they all speak Italian? Which is pretty cool. Very cute and homey inside and good bar area. I already have my next reservation set and I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I was dying to try this little spot in Amity village. This place did not disappoint. We didn't have a reservation but we're seated pretty quickly despite it being packed. Our waiter was knowledgeable about all their specials. I got the center cut felt mignon and my boyfriend got the skirt steak. They were both cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach was also delicious. Definitely a pricy spot which hinders the fifth star but despite that I would still recommend for your next date night.

Yelp
Always fantastic! The Garganelli pasta with veal is amazing . The bone in veal chop parmesan is delicious. The aqua pazza was good also. We go to Vittorios, 4 every major event in our daughter's life. She loves it. We go for her birthday every holiday season. The food is just great, and the service is amazing.

Yelp
Vittorios is pretty with a warm, friendly glow. The food is consistently delicious. The service is excellent. It's one of my favorite restaurants. You'll be happy you chose Vittorios.

Yelp
Always great service with the perfect ambiance and the best food around...best steaks on Long Island bar none!!!!

Yelp
Absolutely 5 stars straight across the board. I have never received a bad meal, or bad service here. If you go once you will return.

Yelp
Have really enjoyed the food here in the past but tonight's visit was not good- veal chop was overcooked, scallops were tasteless and at their prices that is not acceptable.. At well over $100/person the food should be amazing, but it was not even close. I don't mind spending the money, but when I spend the money and it's not even close to being worth it, I get frustrated, which is how I felt tonight. Doubt I will return.

James M.

Yelp
Excellent food attentive staff. Minimal wait for our appetizers and drinks. Everyone had a great time.

Loretta A.

Yelp
Food, service and ambience is amazing. Had a great time. I Highly recommend Vittorio's Italian Steak House.

Yelp
Came here for dinner for my dear friends birthday. We had a nice round large table for our party. But it was hard to have a conversation unless someone was sitting next to you or two seats over. The restaurant was a bit loud as well, but it's Friday night so I guess to be expected as it was fairly crowded. It's a steakhouse so you know everything is going to be a bit pricier/higher end. I am pescatarian/mostly vegetarian so I opted for the salmon dish which came with masked and some string beans. The good: service was friendly and the food was good. Nice atmosphere. The bad: Service, albeit friendly, was crazy slow. I wasn't expecting dinner to be almost 4 hours. I was hungry and pregnant at the time we went to dinner. I went outside to FaceTime my son at one point and when I got back my meal was gone - the tossed my leftovers without waiting for me to return to see if I wanted it boxed up, which I did. Sad face. *cry* I'd come back, but probably for lunch when it's a bit quieter. Parking can be a pain in the village here but you'll be able to find spots in the lot behind, you might have to circle around once or twice though. Living in a village area myself I'm used to it - but just FYI.
google avatar

Roc C.

Yelp
Food was mediocre at best. Service was great. Ambiance was busy at bar, mellow in dining room. To be honest was expecting much more. Could be a real great spot if the food was up there with the prices.

David X.

Yelp
Great food and great service . I eat here often for business and personal reasons. It's small gets loud but the rest makes up for it. Love the staff always helpful and attentive.

Yelp
First time here. Very nice. Food was amazing. Four of us ate here. Had wedge salad which was delicious. Clams on the half shell were fresh. Had filet mignon, NY strip, and skirt steak. Everything was perfect. Sautéed mushrooms, mashed potatoes were delicious. Had crème brûlée for desert which was the best I've ever had. All four of us loved everything. Expensive but worth it. Drinks and food and desserts for 4 we spent $532.00 but worth it. Sorry no pictures lol! I was too hungry to stop and take pictures.

Yelp
Fantastic food and SUPERB service! we had Dave as our server and he was the best! There was not one second that we had to ask "where is our waiter?" He knew what we needed before we even had a chance to ask for anything. He had great knowledge of the food, specials, and made sure there we had a great night. The food was delicious! I would definitely return and highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Shakoya S.

Yelp
This place is good. Food is good. I was surprised because I got mixed messages from Yelp this is why it's always good to just try it yourself without relying heavily on others reviews. Appetizers we got Cesar salad and muscles. Now this is why I gave 4 stars. I was kind of disappointed with the salad it wasn't my favorite not your usual Cesar it had cheddar cheese ? Never had that. Also the muscles were good but the sauce with it was eh also the bread. But that doesn't mean it wasn't good I've just had better. I loved my meal! My steak cooked to perfection, mashed potatoes good and I had bacon wrapped Brussels sprouts (never had before). It was soooooo good! My husband had veal parm with pasta and he enjoyed it. He did say that his drink was alittle watered down he had ginger and jack. I had two glasses of Riesling. Now all of that the bill was 270.

Dave C.

Yelp
Service and food outstanding. I had the marinated skirt steak my wife had the duck my aunt had the lamb chops everything was outstanding.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful place and the food was great. Service was excellent. Would eat here again.

Yelp
Went here with my wife for my birthday a few weeks back. I got a ribeye steak and my wife got the salmon. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. And the salmon was good also. The side of whipped potatoes and creamed spinach were a wonderful accompaniments. Service was good too. no complaints here! The lights were dimmed at dinner time, which provided a nice ambiance . This wasn't a problem for us, but we did see a bunch of phone flashlights out to read the menu.
