Always fresh, fast, and delicious! There isn’t a single menu item that you can go wrong with. The team at viva chicken is fantastic. They were all so observant keeping the space clean and checking on guests. Johntae did a wonderful job making sure we had all our to go boxes right as we were about to look for them.

I always love eating Viva, it’s delicious! Not only that but I’ve never sat down to eat in the store, and today I had the pleasure of meeting Perry. He was very helpful in helping me decide which sides I could pair with my rotisserie chicken, (the green beans are bomb asf!) and created an overall great experience. I will be back to this location!

Definitely upset ordered a kids meal and got a totally different meal. Was not what I ordered and I come here all the time for my lunch break.

In its context, the place is relatively good, I have experienced better peruvian chicken before, I will still recommend this location for a satisfying meal.

Dora was great!!! I was indecisive on what I wanted, Inca wrap or vegetarian bowl. Dora helped me with that and I didn’t want a drink, but she suggested the passion fruit beverage and it was amazing!!! Thank you Dora, I will be back and I hope you keep that smile. You made my day!!!!

Amazing chicken, friendly ambiance, with plenty of parking nearby. The Peruvian corn salad is a must for side dish. Plenty of seating options indoors and outdoor. Highly recommended

Needed to grab a quick lunch and went to viva chicken. I got a 1/4 chicken dark meat, sweet potato fries and green beans. I scarfed the whole entire meal down. It was so delicious! The green beans were petite and made with soy and ginger I was sold as soon as they told me that. The chicken was flavorful and so moist. The sweet potato fries were perfect. I used the medium sauce on everything! And they were very friendly and with it being weekday lunch time it was served in a reasonable time. Highly recommend this place! I am sold!

The good. Prompt service along with flavorful chicken and sides...the needs improvement a quarter dark meat chicken and two sides with a bottle water came to just over 14 bucks. Overall I might try it again

9 years ago was the first time I've ever been to a viva chicken, and almost a decade later, ITS STILL 5 STARS. I've ordered catering from this location multiple times, they have been very accommodating for my 70 people I order for. Ambiance is still casual, high energy. My favorite item to order is: Quinoa stuffed avocado with pulled chicken

I love viva chicken i usually go for the same thing but today i decided to try something different and i regret it. The yuca fries are always good the passion fruit juice is a also good a little watery but till good but the lamo saltado that i tried for the first time was not it, the rice was soggy and full of water it felt like i was eating a soup it was also very bland not enough seasoning. Definitely try them just maybe don't get this

Viva gets it done! The food always tastes fresh and delicious. If it's between here and another "fast casual" pick up, I get them every time. Also, they play house music in the restaurant which is *vibes*. Thanks to the staff for being amazing!

Let me tell you, Davidson might be charming, but for Peruvian perfection, you gotta head a hair south to the Huntersville Viva Chicken. It's a quick trip, but the taste of their chicken? Worth every minute. I snagged a half bird, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. Perfectly cooked, with that smoky char from the rotisserie that just makes your mouth happy. Then came the sides: fluffy Peruvian rice and sweet, caramelized plantains - a textural dream team. But the real stars of the show? The sauces. Three glorious options, each a winner in its own right. I'm guessing the aji amarillo was the citrusy yellow one, the aji huacatay the creamy green with that herbal kick, and the rocoto - well, that fiery red number had me reaching for my Inca Kola. Speaking of Inca Kola - what a discovery! This golden nectar, like bubblegum and sunshine in a bottle, somehow magically cut through the richness of the chicken and brought everything together. Trust me, you gotta try it. Viva Chicken? More like Viva Delicious. If you're anywhere near Huntersville and have a hankering for authentic Peruvian, this spot is a hidden gem. You won't regret the drive.

Had to go to charlotte for a weekend, happy we found this place. Food was fresh, with a welcoming ambiance. I want to say her name was Laura, who took our order. She was extremely helpful and sweet.

Tacu Bowl review Cilantro rice+ chicken. Read the raving reviews and well... this bowl of rice and beans doesn't live up to its Yelp reviews potential. I assuming many people grew up eating rice and beans & this may be an upgrade from that?‍‍ It's basically rice and beans with chicken. Yellow sauce was creamy due to mayonnaise mix but that's it. I should've stuck to the 1/4 chicken, & a side, a good usual. No more tacu for me.

I love this place. Great plant based options like the quinoa stuffed avocado or the adina power food salad.

This is on our standard rotation for well-priced, delicious, quick, filling, healthy meals when we really don't want to cook. It's not an "out of this world" meal that changes my life, but it is great cooking, with great flavor. It is food that I would be happy to eat regularly as takeout.

This place was recommended by a local and it was delicious. Parking is across the street or it looks like they do a lot of to go and door dash business. Chicken Verde tacos are amazing. Plantains were great. Service was friendly.

Enjoyed my recent visit to Viva. It was right in the middle of the lunch rush, so they were pretty busy but the service was quick and efficient. I ordered the Inca wrap with chicken. It was a little dry, but the salsa helped a lot. It was very filling! Def worth stopping for lunch if you're in the area.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Great tasting food, healthy, great choices, great staff, nice ambiance, comfortable and great value for your money. Highly recommend it. VIVA CHICKEN was recommended to me by a Peruvian friend. I tried it once and now I go there for lunch at least twice a weeks d often for dinner. Check out the Thursdays special!! IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! Awesome food and service! This place is a "go to" for tasty and healthy meals for me and my family. Can't beat the Peruvian spices and flavors they use!

Yummy Peruvian food. The chicken was very moist and juicy. The rice was just OK and the green beans was just OK. I've had spicier sauces. Total meal price was about $45 for the three of us. No drinks.

Absolutely love Viva Chicken. First time at this location, but it was close to where my son lives. Inside was much smaller than I expected, put they have a huge enclosed patio and good size outdoor patio. The service was great. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and offered us great suggestions. My son and I shared the Vegetarian Inca Burrito with a side of plantains, the Quinoa Avocado salad with chicken, and Vegetarian Arroz Chaufa. We washed it down with their house made drinks the Chicha Morada and the Maracuya Glass which complimented each dish well. Everything was amazing! The food was impeccably fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite!

The food is good as always. Just wish they still had the delivery options. One of my favorites.

Food is still solid, service not so much. 11am on a Monday. Restaurant is mostly empty. 3 people are made to stand in line for 10 minutes while the guy at the counter takes a carry out order- occupying one of the 2 computers they have to take an order. Ok, no biggy. Next, I show him an email I got to redeem my Viva rewards - which has the account number right on it. He says I need the app to redeem them (which is nonsense- you shouldn't need the app to redeem earned rewards with the account number provided.) Then 2 dine in customers that were ahead of me and myself wait 19 minutes to get our food - mind you - in a mostly empty restaurant. This place used to be a well oiled machine. It's a shame. Clearly the carry out business is prioritized over dine in customers.

On my way to work I stopped by Viva Chicken after placing my order online I ordered a rotisserie sandwich on ciabatta toasted and fruit cup when the I arrived and open up the box, the sandwich was wet, not toasted. I could not eat it. Also I ordered a half chicken and half quinoa avocado which I have not opened yet it is for my dinner later on. I also had fries which were OK.. I was very disappointed with the sandwich and it was just a waste of money. I haven't tried the fruit yet

Came home from California to visit my folks, I had to pop in for the Avocado Qiunoa salad. It's been at least 5 years since I've been here and it is still just as good as I remember. Service was fast, the food was beyond fantastic and the staff was charming, helpful and friendly. And Holy smokes y'all, the BEST tres leches cake I've ever had in my life. I love this place.

It's been a while since my wife and I have been to this specific Viva Chicken. We were not disappointed as we both ate at the restaurant and placed an order to go. I ordered my usual, chicken soup and green beans. All was delicious and my wife got a 1/4 chicken and cilantro rice. It was great as well. We placed an order for our son and he enjoyed each bite of his 1/4 chicken and sides. The orders were placed differently and both received very quick. We have always had great customer service and tonight didn't disappoint. I will say the young man taking our order was very nice and customer friendly. Great return since we haven't been to this location in a while. Great job Viva...

Good food! I absolutely love the naked wrap because it is packed with fresh ingredients and the queso fresco is a lovely change from any traditional cheese. What I don't love is how you have to pay extra to add protein to a wrap, which brings the wrap to 12$. It's frustrating when wraps are priced as a veggie only then you have to add extra for meat, I find it misleading. I also don't love how it take 25 minutes for a wrap to be assembled. My guarantee ready time was 8pm and by 805 I was still waiting in the store. It's a chaotic system. I was given someone else's food first, luckily, I realized this and returned and but then had to wait extra for my own food to come out.

The OG Viva Chicken of Charlotte I've been coming here for years. The food and service is normally consistent. This location like the others is always busy. Parking is kinda weird but you more than likely will find a space. I ordered some of their seasonal items once. Not sure if only this location carries seasonal items but I never saw them at the other locations or on their menus. I didn't really enjoy the seasonal items. The veggies in one dish weren't cooked completely and chopped very large. The last time I visited the staff was very short with me and not the friendliest. It wasn't just one person it was a couple employees that weren't the friendliest. Overall a great options for fast casual dining. bad service very over prices for rice and been, I pad $38.36 for two bowl of maybe a cup rice and a cup of beens and there food quality has gone way down.

One thing I've found in my Yelp travels is that many US cities have one particularly loved Peruvian rotisserie eatery, and that such an eatery is usually one of the top-five-rated restaurants in town. Charlotte is one such city, and here the restaurant is Viva. I got a quarter white platter with canary beans, the specialty corn salad (solorito), and couple of sauces, and everything was delicious, both individually and in tandem (though maybe a touch too salty for my tastes). It made for a slightly pricy lunch at around $12, but it was well worth it.

I've been to Viva Chicken several times, but this was a new location for me. The inside was a lot smaller than the others I've been to. There's plenty of seating outside though. We got the Arroz Chaufa and the Tacu Bowl (and added chicken to both). Both were good and rice heavy. Make sure you get their sauces to add to it. My favorite is the yellow sauce followed by the green. I wouldn't say Viva Chicken is one of my favorite restaurants, but it's always a solid, consistent choice.

Tried the quarter white meat chicken with all the dipping sauces, cilantro rice and green beans, the herbal drink concoction. EVERYTHING WAS good! I really enjoyed the cilantro rice and the chicken was seasoned quite well. The string beans had a slight bite/crunch to them which I enjoyed. AND everything paired well with the three dipping sauces.

I LOVE Viva Chicken! The food here is amazing and so flavorful. They have the best chicken soup hands down. I'll order delivery for it when I'm feeling sick or just need the comfort. My other favorite is the cilantro Rice and Arroz Chauffa! Having those mixed with the yellow sauce is a meal that I don't think I could ever get sick of. I love the Elizabeth location but they have consistency at all their locations. Staff is nice and the dining area is clean. I would also recommend you try out their house made juices. I've used these for a mocktail during Dry January and I think it's what helped get me through the month. Cannot recommend viva chicken enough!

I love the chicken soup from Viva. Everything is very fresh and healthy but also flavorful. Plantains are great for dessert too.

Although the food is good. Sometimes the service lax here. FRANCES, today I called up and was on hold for 22 minutes before somebody answered the phone. By the time I drove here there was nobody in line nobody in the store, and the employees were watching videos, like three people were standing around, looking at someone's phone, and they wouldn't even answer the phone. The food is fair. It's convenient to me come up my daughter likes it because she's young. But it's inconsistent with service even when I brought it up, they didn't seem to really care. So in conclusion, the service can easily be well below average. The food is slightly above average. It's also $34 for a whole chicken and a couple of sides so just a matter of perspective.

I really like the Peruvian chicken. I wish I had one to open up in Columbia, South Carolina and West Columbia near the University of South Carolina. It would definitely be a success, and they would make lots of money.

Who doesn't love Viva chicken (don't answer that). I swear they do something to those french fries - they're remarkable and I cannot get enough of that green sauce. Seriously, buy the big one - I put it on just about everything when I have some leftover. :) Chicken is always fresh and tasty and the quinoa avocados are what healthy people dream of... (ha ha... I'm just making an assumption here, but they're GOOD)! I am so glad that we have VIva chicken as an option and love that they've popped up on just about every side of town.

This is my companies go to for catering. It is very good and flavorful. It is also a healthier option compared to other fast casual options.

Quick, healthy, and relatively inexpensive. I love the convenience and quality of Viva Chicken. My go-to for a lunch or quick dinner. The Limeña Chopped with chicken is my go-to salad.

Recently visited twice for take out for the first time in 2022. Their quality of service and ingredients and the wonderful flavors have not changed since their opening day. Visit 1 The Quinoa Stuffed Avocado is one of my 2 favorites at Viva. I order the half size with chicken and ask for the green and yellow sauces. The owner or manager introduced himself by name in the store, and took our group orders so we didn't have to wait for the other cashier to become available for a large take out order. Visit 2: Ordered this time on the app and set the time for pickup. Received a text as I was parking that my order, the Sopa de Pollo was ready. It was on the grab and go rack and I quickly checked to make sure the bowl with side of broth were both inside. Today I ventured out from my usual favs to try something new and happy I did. The bowl of soup ingredients was very filling, included lots of rotisserie chicken and plenty of broth left over to enjoy by itself or make in a meal tomorrow. First time ordering on their app and it is great when you're short on time and can't wait in line. For years, this location has remained busy regardless of time of day because of its proximity to the hospital, CPCC, and other businesses/neighborhoods. Another tip: you will easily accumulate points using the app.

Amazing food and customer service! Chicken and cilantro rice were flavorful. The green beans were a little too greasy for my taste but good nonetheless. Good portions for the price. I tried all the sauces and my favorite was the ají amarillo (yellow) sauce. The gentleman who helped me that day was very enthusiastic and friendly. I didn't get his name but he is caucasian with semi long hair and a beard. Thank you!

We get Viva Chicken every time we are and where near one. We live in CT but our daughter is in Charlotte. What we do now is have her get takeout to bring to our second home in Hilton Head. It's like a tradition now. Wish they would expand up north- the seasoning is amazing. Even my anti- chicken husband loves it!

Visited Charlotte NC a fee days last week and discovered Viva Chicken! Viva is a Peruvian rotisserie deli. There are several locations around Charlotte. The restaurant offers walk up ordering. Your food is delivered to your table. The menu is more diverse than most Peruvian style eateries. There are sandwiches, wraps, soups and the house specialty, rotisserie chicken. There is quarter chicken, half chicken, chicken wraps and all types of South American salad and chicken combos. There are several side offerings to include the special fried rice, fries, white rice, plantains, spicy beans, canary beans, and crisp house salads. I visited the restaurant twice during my three day stay in Charlotte. Yeah, Viva Chicken is the truth! The service was courteous and prompt. The chicken pieces were moist and perfectly spiced. And oh, the shredded chicken on the salads is awesome. If in the area and wanting something healthy, quick and tasty, look up the nearest Viva Chicken.

Every time I come, it is always right, fresh, and great! It does seem to always be busy, but it doesn't take long to receive my order. Will always recommend!

This is a great place to get a vegetarian meal. The quinoa stuffed avocado is a great meal. I also enjoy the naked purivian wrap.

We have stopped by here in the past few years when we are visiting Zion National Park and it is always such a treat. I love Peruvian dishes and have tried places across the U.S and this one doesn't disappoint. We are also usually hungry after our long drive in/out so stopping to stretch the legs and have a nice meal is so rewarding. Please stop by this place if you can.

On Jan 29, Chicken ,yuca fries, string beans were cold at Elizabeth location. Even cold on remake. Sweet potato fries were hot. Arroz chaufa looked like it had fake eggs and looked more like mush fried rice. Had no real flavor. We were very disappointed. Wasted $51 here. Shameful u cannot serve hot food. Had to go to another place to get a decent meal.

Our son had to have emergency surgery at Presbyterian peds. I saw this place across the street. It looked interesting. So of course I pulled up yelp for the scoop. Well it looked and sounded awesome. It did not disappoint! If getting to go I would recommend putting an order in online. In person was fine. They have a great to go set up for online though! We got a couple of different wraps, fried plantains, some juice, and some churros! The wraps were amazing. I got all 3 sauces. I am glad I did. All were yummy! The service here was great. The food was even better! I am so happy I cam here. If back in Charlotte we will be back for sure!
