I booked Viva Day Spa for my birthday and, on the day itself, the experience felt genuinely lovely. The staff were warm and attentive, and parts of the treatment were excellent. I left thinking I would be recommending the spa and possibly returning in the future.
Unfortunately, everything that happened afterwards completely undermined that experience.
Two services that were clearly included in the package I paid for were not provided. One was a manicure, which I was told I could not receive due to requirements that were not disclosed on the website. The second was a "choice of hydrating body wrap", which I was never offered or asked about at any point during my visit.
I contacted the spa shortly after my appointment to raise this politely and privately, expecting a straightforward acknowledgement or resolution. Instead, I was met with total silence. Over the course of several months, I sent five separate emails (May, July, August, and again in January), reached out via social media, and submitted messages through their online contact form. I never received a single response.
I also made it clear that I live outside of the United States and that email was the only practical way to contact me. This was ignored entirely, and no effort has been made to address the issue.
It is extremely disappointing to pay for a premium birthday package, not receive what was advertised, and then be completely disregarded when trying to resolve it. The lack of customer service, follow-up, and accountability is unacceptable.
If everything goes perfectly during your visit, you may have a nice day at the spa. If anything goes wrong afterwards, do not expect any response or attempt to make it right. I would strongly advise caution before booking an expensive package here.
