Viva Heavens by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive

We visited the Puerto Plata area for the first time and had a great experience overall. The resort offered good value for the money we spent. It’s small but cozy, and thanks to the low occupancy in mid-October, we were able to relax and really enjoy our stay.||A big plus goes to the entertainment team — Matteo, Timeo, Esther, and the entire crew did a fantastic job!||The beach was beautiful and clean. The only downside was that the beach bar didn’t open until 10 a.m., even for coffee. However, the bartenders and resort staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The snack bar on the beach served delicious pizza, which we really enjoyed. Be prepared, though, for frequent approaches from beach vendors — the constant offers can become a bit annoying after a while.||The pool area was small and not very deep. On weekends, when more local guests arrived, it quickly became crowded and a bit dirty. Unfortunately, my son ended up with an ear infection by the time we were leaving. The pool bar, although not a swim-up bar, was very good, and the staff there were exceptionally friendly.||The buffet food was generally good, though the selection was limited and somewhat repetitive from day to day, with only minor variations. The à la carte restaurants were open just three nights out of our seven-night stay, likely due to the low season.||Overall, it’s a good four-star resort — clean, cozy, and well-maintained.

My stay at the Viva Heavens Hotel was simply spectacular. Every day they offer fun and varied activities: pool games, dance classes, sports, contests, and moments of pure laughter and entertainment. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and passion are evident.||The nightly shows are incredible—full of rhythm, color, and talent—and each night brings something different to enjoy. Then, the fun continues in the nightclub, where the atmosphere is vibrant, the music is great, and the energy is simply contagious. 🕺💃||The entertainment area is a space where something exciting is always happening. Whether participating in activities or simply enjoying the atmosphere, every moment feels special.||And among the great entertainment team, I want to highlight Bairon for his charisma, energy, and natural way of connecting with guests. I stayed at the Viva Hotel for two weeks in September, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the first day, I felt at home thanks to the entertainment team, always full of energy, joy, and charisma.||||I especially want to give a shout-out to Bairon, who made every activity fun and special, always transmitting good vibes and motivating everyone to participate. I also want to give a huge shout-out to Aguja, Alemán, and Nicolás from the water sports department, who were super friendly, attentive, and professional. Thanks to them, I was able to fully enjoy the kayaks and boats, in complete safety and with lots of laughs.||||The nightly shows were spectacular—very well produced, with music, dancing, and a contagious energy. They offered something different every night, and there was no way to get bored. I also loved the disco, with its lively atmosphere, perfect for closing out the night with good music and fun.||||Overall, my stay at Viva was a perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and joy. The entire staff makes you feel special and well looked after.||I definitely plan to return, because this place has something unique: the warmth of its people and the lively atmosphere you experience every day.||||Thank you, Viva, for two weeks full of unforgettable moments! 🌴✨

It was my first time at viva heavens, i went from september 26th to october 3rd. I went to a couple resorts in dominican republic and it was by far the best i ever visited. Rooms are ultra clean, i never expect much from buffets but this one was absolutely delicious. Especially for breakfast. The staff of the hotel is very friendly but especially the animation team. They make you feel welcomed on the very first minute. A very special mention to Matteo, esther, Tim and a more special one to Bairon, who made my week even better. I will definitely be back next year. I strongly recommend

My stay at Viva Heavens in Puerto Plata was absolutely incredible! The service was top-notch from start to finish — every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. The entertainment team kept the energy high every day and night, and I have to give a special shoutout to Speedy — he was the life of the party! Always fun, friendly, and full of positive vibes.||The drinks were also amazing — super refreshing, delicious, and made perfectly every time. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying the evening shows, the bartenders kept the good times flowing.||If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable getaway with great people, great drinks, and unforgettable entertainment, Viva Heavens is definitely the place to be!

I've come to Viva Heavens many times and I won't tire of coming back. I definitely like it a lot. It's my favorite. The entire team and employees are very good, especially the rooms are very clean, the drinks at the bar are very good. Thanks to the entire team, and the attention makes Viva a good hotel. I really like the entertainment activities. Bairon stands out among them, he's one of the best, but we can't leave out the entertainment team and the entire beach sports team. They definitely make the difference. The entertainment manager is an excellent dancer and very friendly, Speedy is very cheerful, and everyone on the team, including all the cheerleaders. Without a doubt, Viva Heavens is heaven.

Overall this hotel was what was expected for the price. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure why the hotel is advertised as family friendly when they had music or events by the pool area until midnight on Friday and 11 PM on Sunday but nothing on Saturday. Anyways, do not get a room in the fourth building (4101-4310) range if you want some sleep or are traveling with kids.

You can meet my man Omar flipping cups at the pool bar, best bartender, watch him.... whistle call like you wouldn't believe, Yanet (Jackson) is usually sitting pretty with her smile ready to help. You can find my man Marlin seving drinks in the club while he dances up a storm. Orelvis and Alexis also great. At the beach and entertainment is doesnt get any better than Aguya, Aleman, Nico, Adonis . M.C Speedy Is the man on the mic, really awesome. Bairon, DJ Anderson, my homies.|Lobby/ Front desk staff, Henry, Caesar, Sofia, are all amazing .Ester, Marrisel, Nairobi, Skarlett incredibly beautiful and super nice. Timeo and Matteo from France were super good also. My security team were incredible Fernando, Angel, Nelson, Hola Hilario, thank you for keeping the place clean. Kitchen and wait staff are all great and very pleasant. Carlos in the kitchen was my midnight man. Dawin is the #1 waiter/server... gracias hermano. And I missed my good friend Aurelio. I hope he is back next time. Thank you viva staff.... you all are awesome and I'm sorry to the ones I didn't mention, you know I love you all!!! See you all again soon!!!
