Viva Maya by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive Resort

Great staff and friendly service everywhere on the resort. We especially enjoyed the yoga on the beach every morning. Thanks Gian Carlos for guiding us through great classes. Jesus provided free 5 minute massages which were great just off the lobby. The spa services are a little expensive but go see Jesus for discounted packages. We got a great deal and the massages were incredible. There were always lots of chairs at the beach and around the pool. Everyone lined up to get drinks at the bar which was nice. The rooms were clean and the shower had lots of hot water with good pressure. The beach is beautiful and clean. We loved going for dips in the ocean. The shows at night were great and they had one at the main stage and one near the lobby every night which was fun. Overall a great relaxing vacation.

My family and I stayed at Viva Maya by Wyndham over Christmastime, and the staff truly made our trip special. The workers at the water sports hut were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful every single day. A big thank you to Giancarlo, Alan, Adrian, Marco, Aaron, Ricardo, and Rodolfo, along with many others, for always being patient, upbeat, and genuinely kind. We also loved all of the bartenders throughout the resort. Every interaction with the staff here felt warm and positive. Overall, all of the staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome, and it is truly the people who made this vacation such a memorable experience for my family and I.

We had an amazing stay at Viva Maya by Wyndham during Christmas. What impressed us the most was the team — I haven’t seen such great teamwork in a long time. People from different departments and shifts worked together like one, and it truly made our stay special 😍 The shows and activities team were excellent. This hotel really has everything: a coffee shop, library, gym, archery, tennis, Zumba, air aerobics, painting, and much more. Everything is clean, well organized, and very well maintained. The food was very good — we visited the Mexican restaurant and the buffet, and big respect to the chefs. The territory is beautiful, clean, and the animals make this place even more magical. We will definitely come back ❤️

Pros: Nice Beach. Food was great even at the buffet. Service was OK. Room was clean with good bed. We liked the snack bar near the plage. Not feeling obliged to tips at bars and buffet. "À la carte" restaurants was great (Mexican at Hacienda Don Diego and Fusion/International at Cosmopolita). ||Cons: rooms may be noisy (noise from hallways, noise from exterior show), alcools are cheaps quality. Nothing in refrigerator (no soft drink or beer). Had only 2 "À la carte" restaurants on 6 days.||Special cheers on the Buffet: We had a special buffet night on the 31th December... Lobster tails, steaks, shrimps... and lot of desserts It was exceptionnal!||Special thanks to Margarito working at the buffet... We had great time to chat with him and his service was always EXCELLENT.

The place is gorgeous! The buffet is great, a lot of variety. I got a massage at Necui Spa. The massage was wonderful and then they talked me into a pedicure. I was expecting a fabulous pedicure but I got a polish change. She didn’t scrub my feet. It definitely was not a normal pedicure by any means.They don’t have gel polish, they have about 10 colors to choose from for a whopping $73!!!!! INSANE. We are currently still here. So far that is my only complaint.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Viva Maya the last week of October 2025. We had the most incredible time at this resort. Our room was beautiful and right on the beach, the food was always amazing and the entertainment staff were so great. We also got the lobster dinner and highly recommend it if you want to pay for an upgraded dinner. We did the sea turtle excursion and it was also so fantastic. All the bar tenders and staff were so kind. The beach was also so beautiful and we never had to worry about a spot cause they’re lots of seats! We would definitely recommend this resort!

Great hotel for family vacation with young kids. The hotel is not too big: everything is at a walkable distance. We also liked the landscape. Beach was always clean and the entrance in the sea is safe for the small kids. The hotel has the kids club, which has many activities for kids of the daycare age. We also liked a lot the evening shows. Buffet is big and has great choice of food. The pool area is nice, but you need to reserve the beach chairs in the early morning, around 6-7am.

I was very impressed with our quiet location especially since we were travelling with a toddler. The room is definitely amazing, two sinks and a large porch. Very clean and we were even provided a sterilizer for my child’s sippy cups. They have filtered water. They were very accommodating to our needs. We are very appreciative and more than happy for coming to this resort. They have a child pool and a child area with a playground and activities. Greta night time entertainment. High chairs if needed at each location. A variety of food at each buffet. The Mediterranean restaurant was amazing. Thank you guys so much. Ps the beaches are also amazing and the staff is super friendly.
