I have never been in a hotel that I have been treated differently due to some of the guest are club members. It was hot when we arrived, was thirsty, so it was not pleasant to see that others are receiving welcome drinks and wet towels. I like hotels where everyone treated the same so personally I would not book this hotel for myself. It was difficult to get into the room, as the cards did not really work. There are smoking areas provided, they ask at check in if you smoke and they will watch you if you break the rules, $250. Luckily none of the hotels own the beach, hence, easier to smoke on a wild, public area instead of squeezing into a small section, which was very humid due to the setup of the area. There was some sort of disco going on, which it did cause a sleepless night while there is a theatre on site so I don't understand why the music was on so loud near the lobby and rooms. I have got laughed on by Margarito at the restaurant because I couldn't spot where are the spoons. Clearly this is not an attitude and behaviour I would expect by hotel stuff. Room was clean, but like I said sometimes we needed to try the cards 5-6 times to get access to the room. I stayed at Hrand Bahia Principe 8 years ago, I would recommend that hotel, but not this. I experienced before that locals, Americans and Germans treated well, I am Hungarian, and I doubt they have got so many costumers from my country. First impression is the best, and unfortunately they have failed. I also stayed in some of the Wyndham before across the globe, they were much better.
