A true Goan gem nestled in the heart of Fontainhas! Viva Panjim is a beautiful blend of history and flavour, set in a 150-year-old Goan-Portuguese home. The heritage ambiance instantly transports you, and the food is nothing short of spectacular! We tried the Seafood Platter, Pomfret Racheado, Prawn Biryani, and Chicken Cheese Lollipops — every dish was packed with authentic Goan flavours. Their cocktails, especially Lady in Pink and Blue Lagoon, were refreshing and well-balanced. The service was warm and welcoming, true to its family-run roots, and the live music on Sunday added the perfect touch to our experience. It’s no surprise this place is award-winning and has hosted big names like Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and the US Ambassador. Highly recommend if you're looking to explore Goa’s rich culinary heritage in a cozy, charming setting!

Everything about this place is five star. Very old restaurant run by the family is situated in a heritage building and has furniture to match the status. Food at Viva is simply superb and you can try anything from their vast menu. For us it was more of seafood since it is Goa and we did just that. Service is prompt and old Goa vibe gives you enough reason to savour your food. Serradura, a local sweet dish is a must try. Try their crabs too.

Visited Viva Panjim with high expectations, but unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming. The food was just okay – nothing that really stood out or felt worth the price. What made the experience worse was the staff’s attitude, which came off as a bit rude and disinterested. The place is definitely overpriced considering the quality of food and service. The only saving grace was the ambience, which is charming and gives off a nice old-Portuguese vibe – hence the two stars. Sadly, the overall experience didn’t live up to the hype.

Went for lunch with my sister and had the Mustard Chicken and Apricot Chicken steaks, along with the Strawberry Delight and Virgin Pina Colada. It was all lovely and yummy! Service was great too!

Viva is a true gem, nestled in a heritage building that reflects Goa’s rich history. This family run restaurant has stood the test of time, offering not only a nostalgic atmosphere with its antique style furniture but also consistently excellent food. The menu is extensive, but given the coastal setting. The relaxed, old-Goa vibe adds a special touch, making it more than just a meal it’s a moment to savor.
