Vivi Bistrot has decent food but very American-style prices, so just be prepared. We ordered the ravioli di burrata al due pomodori and the strapazzato (scrambled eggs) — both were fine, not exceptional. I believe that it’s hard to find particularly bad food in Italy.
The café itself is cute, but there’s nothing particularly Italian about it; it feels more like a modern American café with a highly varied menu that offers a bit of everything. The espresso tasted a bit burnt, though the cappuccino was quite nice.
What really makes this place appealing is the location — right on Piazza Navona, perfect for people-watching and taking a relaxing break. We popped in while it was pouring outside, and it was a great refuge from the rain.
Tip: There are limited tables, so definitely make a reservation in advance if you plan to sit and enjoy.
