Vivid

This past Wednesday was my second time at Vivid and it was such a pleasant experience. The first time I visited I brought my dad for a birthday dinner on a Sunday and it wasnt very busy. The waitress was sweet and gave me mimosas although it was past brunch time, the manager came and checked on us, the chef even passed by and asked how we liked the food. This second time I went back with friends and we stayed until the place closed! The GM hugged us and walked us out herself. The bartenders were experimenting with new drinks and were bringing around sample shots throughout the night. We ate, drank, and had a good time. Vivid is definitely a place to go for great food, reasonably priced drinks, great music, and that good Caribbean hospitality. (Pics from my first visit)

I came for Thursday Night Football (Eagles @ Packers). Its a small, intimate space but I enjoyed it. The speakers were kinda loud, but my ears adjusted as the night went on. I'm a wine drinker and the glass of wine was more than I expected. The bathroom was nice and the Lobster Mac n Cheese was 🔥🔥🔥

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. The prices aren't too crazy but the Lobster & Shrimp with waffle was $24 and that was the most expensive thing. My friend said she enjoyed the lobster and that everything was tender and flavorful. I had the chicken and waffle. The chicken's batter was fine but it had no flavor at all. The ackee and saltfish was pretty good but the festivals (fried dumpling) wasn't to my liking. I didn't expect it to have a sweet flavor. It tasted like it was cooked with either cinnamon or vanilla extract but my friend enjoyed it so it's just a matter of preference. The Virgin Miami Vice drinks tasted amazing but it wasn't worth $13 (there was no alcohol so that's a little high). The service was exceptional. Because of that, I will be back.

Top notch service and delicious food and drinks... nicely priced.... the staff is very friendly and management cares about their business... I live in the neighborhood and had been hearing good things about the food here so I stopped in to check it out. I ordered the coconut shrimp which was very fresh, cold fish and plantains and curry shrimp $18. The food was good, but the prices are a bit steep for a neighborhood spot. I got a shot of patron and was charged $ 13??? No way ! I think the owner needs to adjust the pricing , it's ok to make a profit but if you want returning customers you need to not be greedy.

Lobster mac is to die for. I preferred eating with silver utensils because plastic is worth .01 cents. Corona friendly, was served with a mask on. Instead of collecting unemployment their earning a paycheck. The least I could do is tip. How can a check go over $300 and not tip. There were tables by me that were 15 person reservation deep and refused to tip. We need to appreciate all business that are open during this pandemic. Instead of quitting, let's give credit to all businesses that are trying.

Sweet waiter, she was definitely a sweetheart. The venue was great as well along with the music and atmosphere. Only problem was the taste of the food, um I didn’t really care too much for the price but portion to price range is a little off but like I said I didn’t really care too much for it, only the taste of the food. Ended up not liking the jerk chicken cause it was kind of rubbery but the chicken pasta was great so we ended up just taking it home
