Journey around the world with these hot new menus in Singapore - SilverKris

"A modern homage to Singapore’s hawker heritage at VivoCity, this concept updates familiar favourites with premium ingredients and playful plating while retaining core flavours. Examples include a luxe bak chor mee elevated with scallops, caviar, prawns, a poached egg and capellini; hor fun upgraded with rib eye, toman fish and a poached egg; and hokkien mee topped with soft shell crab, lobster and squid. Desserts get inventive too—the reimagined chendol arrives as azuki beans and pandan jelly on a warm skillet pancake with vanilla bean ice cream, coconut sable and palm sugar syrup, with an optional D24 durian add‑on—while many starch dishes incorporate a plant‑based “Alchemy Fibre” blend to lower glucose release without changing taste." - Joy Fang and Alexandra Karplus

This mega mall that serves the residents in the west side of Singapore, has upgraded recently with the introduction of more eateries at the basement, when one exits from the mrt station. Singapore is a foodie haven , so it is important to pump in popular brands to draw the hungry working people n tourists. One can see that every outlet is packed during meal time. So it is very competitive for the shops to come up with promotional set menu to attract customers. Another local pastime is shopping, so sale events are usually held at the front podium area. The mall houses two floors for those who enjoy shopping.

Google
So many stores to choose from, this mall is huge! The Christmas Market was great, it was lit nicely and there were a lot of good Christmas shopping options like baked goods, wrapping paper, Christmas signs and cards. Everything was very clean but since its a huge mall it does get very very busy.

Vivocity has lots of shops, restaurants and entertainment. It is a great place for shopping and going for outings. But on weekends, it may be very crowded especially since it is a popular weekend destination for singaporeans and visitors as Harbourfront Cruise and Ferry Terminal is juat beside Vivocity. In general, Vivocity is a wonderful shopping centre and I would recommend you going to.👍❤️✨️

Google
VivoCity is Singapore’s largest shopping mall, renowned for its extensive range of international brands and diverse dining options. With a vast selection of retail outlets, the mall caters to a wide spectrum of shoppers, offering everything from luxury labels to more affordable brands. Its dining scene is equally varied, featuring fine dining establishments, casual restaurants, and street food options located in the basement. In addition, VivoCity provides direct access to Sentosa Island, enhancing its appeal as both a shopping and leisure destination. However, it can become particularly crowded on weekends.

Google
Nice food court. Large mall with standard products and shops. Good but not amazing. Not enough information points, good for spending time but terrible if you are after something specific. No mall-wide staff to be seen.

Google
VivoCity is one of the biggest shopping malls in Singapore, though I enjoyed shopping at other malls more to be honest. It was very hard to navigate and find where you needed to be. Some more information boards and signage of where to go would be very helpful. Half of the time I was looking around for the signage of where I had to go.

Google
The last time I visited here was during Black Friday, I could buy almost everything I wanted here. The top floor also has a food court with a variety of dishes. Walking around this mall took me almost an evening.

Google
Unbelievably amazing place to shop, in my opinion it’s the most worth-to-go shopping place 😍 I loved it so much. Amazing View, clean, modern, it’s just amazing!

Yelp
The largest mall in Singapore. Doesn't disappoint as it has a huge variety of stores in all categories. Gets insanely crowded on weekends so beware.

Yelp
This is where all the action is as far as malls go in Singapore. It's huge, it's the hub to Sentosa, and everything you need is here. I probably wouldn't stay around the immediate area unless you are on Sentosa but the mall is very popular and super crowded. It's worth a visit regardless. Go for it.

Yelp
Great place to cool off, shop and eat! It's basically a mall with everything you need all in one place. This mall has quite a few well known American brand clothing/accessory stores - as well as coffee bean and McDonalds. There is a grocery store called Giants on the bottom floor. AND they have 2 food courts. One on the bottom floor and the better one on the top floor called Food Republic. Between the two food courts you can basically get any asian food your heart desires - Singaporean, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Filipino - amazing! It is also connected to a subway station, the sky rail and the tram heading to Sentosa Island.
google avatar

Yelp
A big mall in Vivo City. It is also conveniently connected to Harbour Front Mall. There is also direct access to the metro and easy access to taxi cabs. There is ample parking if you are driving your own car. This mall has direct access to cable cars to Sentosa Island. There are many shops to satisfy every shopping need. Food options are plenty for all price points - "Food court" or Hawker stalls to sit-down full service restaurants.

Yelp
Nice view from the top of the mall. It's all interconnected which makes it easy to walk around. The food court on the top level has a pretty good selection. I got my lunch set from a place that was reviewed by Food King and it was a great deal for the amount of food I got! Also it's connected to the Sentosa monorail (which was luckily free for MRT pass holders when I visited) so Sentosa is only a short ride away!

Yelp
Vivo City is one of the larger malls in Singapore. I spent a couple hours wandering around, and spent the most time at Daiso and Zara. The Daiso at this location puts some of the California Daiso's to shame in terms of square footage and merchandise selection. The selection at Zara was unique and different. The food court was also awesome with tons of options ranging from hot foods to desserts. Ample seating too, but no wi-fi. Another perk is the comfortable temperature of the AC. Basically, VivoCity is very similar to most malls in the US, even the layout. I'd come back again, but if I were short on time, I'd probably skip VivoCity and do something else. #17/2018

Yelp
Great mall with tons of shopping and food options. Convenient access to Sentosa as well which is great. Very lively and busy location.

Yelp
This mall is pretty big. They have all kinds of cool stores and restaurants. I even saw a lego playground for kids. I ended up buying more than I had planned but had a great time at the mall. They also have some kind of ferry that departs from the mall. A cab from there to Gardens on the bay was very cheap too! Its worth a visit!

Yelp
This is 3 in 1 place that you can get great variety of food, shopping in any brands you name it and hub on and off to Sentosa Island or day trip to Batam island. What a great shopping center. Plus the MRT underground train is right there on the 1st floor and you can go anywhere from here. Singapore have so much to offer and this is one of great shopping centers in Singapore that you can get anything in one place. Was fun experience to explore this place.

Yelp
A horrible mall..super humid, lack of aircon..damp hot..the washroom is right all the way in..far walk..stuffy..the management trying.to cut cost on their aircon

Yelp
Very crowded place for family shopping. Long lines during weekend lunch time. If you are game for a wait amid the crowd, then this place is for you. Lots of restaurants to choose from. From the basic to the pricy. Lots of branded stores aiming for your choice. There's a train station at the basement to connect you to other parts of the city. The train to Sentosa is on the 3rd floor. For $4, gets you a ride in, once on Sentosa, the rides are free. There's a cable car connecting Sentosa and Mount Faber but that's on the next building. There are signs to follow. If you get lost.

Yelp
I went to food court in Vivo City. I have never seen food court this awesome. Whole place is designed with antique fashioned look. Interior decoration goes really well with the old wood structures. There were so many different selections of foods to choose. Each store had their specialty and they all looked delicious. Be sure to check all the selections of dishes they offer. I ordered my food from Korean store. I ordered kimchee fried rice since I missed Korean food. Visual looks like original K food but taste was totally different. It seems like owner modify the taste a little so Singapore locals would like it. After the meal, I had a original sugar cane juice. In front of your eyes, they squeeze the sugar cane to separate liquids from cane. So good.. I highly recommend.

Yelp
As I have probably mentioned before, the one thing that stands out with Singapore are the massive shopping centres. Well, some of them do have a bit of a purpose and Vivocity happens to be the closest to Sentosa, and since I couldn't see any shopping centres on Sentosa, I suspected that many of the guests there come over here to do what shopping they need. Actually, it also acts as a gateway to the island having the monorail station, and the cable car station, in or nearby. The other thing that is close by is the ferry terminal, where you can catch ferries to nearby Indonesia islands. Actually, I haven't tried the ferries yet, but hopefully will do so the next time I'm over here.

Yelp
Only in Singapore you get malls that are better than what you see in the US. Located in the Southside, this mall is the link to Sentosa Island. Many tourists are not aware or never bothered to shop here because they want to get to Sentosa. I like this mall a lot because it's vibrant and really satisfying once I go in. It's even bus friendly, there's a bus station nearby especially for bus 10 riders. The layout provides a really good sense that if you come here once you will come again! Not only this is a place that native Singaporean likes but a place that has different functions. I personally like the food court. Never have seen mall food that is so good before. I am amazed by the selection they have。As for shopping they have a lot more stores than an American mall. If you are a tourist and are looking for things to bring back home come here.

Yelp
Is this Singapore's biggest mall to date? Or is it ION or NEX? I don't know. Till date I still scatter my way around. Considering I go to this mall every month, that is saying something. Perhaps my sense of direction just sucks terribly! Yes, this place is simply to say, magnificent. Tourists will need to visit this place to complete their Singapore shopping experience. Cinema theatres, department stores, art supplies, fashion, spas... almost everything! If you want to find food, basement is the place to be. From gelatos, cakes, local foodcourt, fast food. Of course there are still other restaurants that are still dispersed on the other levels; like those of Burger King, Poulet, Jamie's Italian, Starbucks, Carl's Junior, Fish & Co and etc... Okay I take my words back, there're a lot of restaurants on the other levels as well. Just that the basement mostly caters to only food. The mall also has a great sea view. So far, the restaurant that I have dined in with great sea view here was Swensen's. Vivo City also serves as a station for monorails that will transport you to/from the nearby Sentosa Island. It's my 2nd favourite mode of transport going to Sentosa, really (first being the cable cars). Weekends can be pretty crowd-crazy. By far, one of my most favourite malls. Moderate prices with loads of variety and a great setting!

Yelp
Large shopping mall located and connected to another shopping mall attached to a cruise terminal with a subway stop in the basement, monorail, and gondola ride located with steps of the entrance. There is a lot to keep person entertained here from the shopping to the food options available. Place is busy from families to high school kids just hanging out. My hotel was located across the street so I always ended floating through here and it was busy regardless of the time of day.
google avatar

Yelp
Largest shopping mall in Singapore doesn't disappoint at all. you get restaurants, all sorts from European to Asian. Some of the restaurant you find in any other malls around Singapore but you have few that are only found here like the Malaysian food restaurant and the British pub. As for shopping... you get lots of shops from branded to large well known shops. Great place to visit.
google avatar

Yelp
It used to call itself the biggest mall in Singapore, though I'm not so sure about that with malls like nex popping up. Still, it's a pretty big place with a wide variety of shops asnd restaurants. It's also has a Toys R Us, of which I think there are only two in Singapore! The mall gets really crowded during the weekends. The mall is right next to HarbourFront, where cruises and ferries come and go. So if you're lucky you may see a huge cruise ship docked right next to the mall. There is ample space on the roof and balconies to hang out, and it gets quite romantic in the evening so you'll see many couples there. You can catch the monorail to Sentosa here, so there are plenty of tourists as well.
google avatar

Yelp
VivoCity is a great and very modern enormous shopping center! I loved it. You can find anything here. The Food Republic is one of the best in town and there is also another food court on the lower floor that has great food.
google avatar

Caspere L.

Yelp
One of the best malls. The selections of shops and lifestyle choices is excellent. The crowds is causually middle income types, little of those high class snobbery. Weekend crowds is however touristy and borders on maniac due to Sentosa trams rides. On public holidays, the crowds can kill !! LOL

Yelp
Probably my favourite mall in the island. Good thing it's near where I live too. It's mega, but not in a scary way. It's a little off-putting at first learning to orientate yourself in the maze, but once you have a grip on it you can do literally anything here. Go to a bank, eat decent hawker food, eat at decent restaurants, eat steamboat, drink beer, shop at not just one but two supermarkets. You can even take the monorail to Sentosa from here. The only thing you can't do here, it seems, is take a taxi. The taxi queue here is possibly the worst I have ever been in. I waited 2 hours for a cab once, had too much crap on me to be able to walk to public transport, and I'm not keen to ever take a taxi here again. Good thing then that it's so well connected by bus and also to not just one but two MRT lines (North East and Circle) from HarbourFront station.
google avatar

Charles Ryan T.

Yelp
One of my favourite malls over here. Not just a great place to hang out with friends and families. It's a good place to go on dates too! Spending time with your loved ones either hanging out at the mall or walking towards Sentosa in good weather is definitely ideal. The mall has something for everyone; kids, teenagers, adults and senior citizens, so no one will feel bored. There are ample of restaurants and food courts, however they are quite pricey so do take note of it. If you wish to have a meal there, do take note of the crowd at meal times, so either come early or an hour or two after meal times to avoid the long wait especially if you are with your loved ones.

Yelp
This is a 3.5 rounded down to 3. I'm a bit torn on this place. On the one hand, it's Singapore's largest mall with everything you're looking for. I almost want to say it's the Mustafa Centre of malls. All the popular stores are here, and there are a good range of eateries, from food courts to nice restaurants. Thanks to the spacious ground level, they have the ability to hold good events like the Cold Storage wine fair, which offers a ton of wines to choose from to a point that it's super overwhelming. But then there are the crowds. If you've read a lot of my reviews, you know I hate them and coming here on weekends is an absolute nightmare. Not only do you have half of Singapore walking around, you also have to contend with the groups of tourists that arrive at the nearby ferry terminal. Bottom line- it's a huge clusterfuck! I don't really come here to go shopping; it's more a meeting place for my friends and I before we head over to Sentosa for some party rockin'. When it's not a public holiday, we take the Sentosa Express from level 3. If the queues are too crazy, we end up using the boardwalk from the waterfront promenade. Despite the maddening crowds, I wouldn't mind revisiting to try some of the restaurants here. Jamie Oliver's, the Chop House, along with Queen and Mangosteen look interesting. Guess that's one more thing add to my list of things to do in Year 2!

Yelp
With so many stores under one roof, how is it possible not to able to find something that suits you? Vivocity caters to anybody. Hungry? Choose from the food court, fast food outlets or restaurants. Wanna buy clothes? There are plenty of apparel stores. Need something to cool off on a sweltering day? That's why the many ice-cream parlours are around. Heading to Sentosa? Hop onto the monorail. Expecting a baby? You'll find everything you need for your newborn in Mothercare. Honestly, this is the best mall we have.
google avatar

Jiahui Y.

Yelp
Best shopping experience ever to befall my territory. A general route for me when visiting Vivocity: POSB bank / Starhub for any errands. bYSI, La Sensa, Mango, Tangs, a quick glance at Ted Baker's shop window, Zara, Warehouse, Topshop, Forever 21, Best Denki and Challenger for geek fix, stop for yoghurt at Yigloo or pick up a bun at Provence or a snack from Old Chang Kee/Beard Papa, proceed to Giant/Vivomart for any groceries, Watsons/Self-Fix/Daiso the $2 store for any other stuff for the house, and wrap up at Food Republic on the third floor or Sushi Tei/Marche for dinner before heading home or for a movie at Golden village. What can't you do here?
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Vivocity would be an amazing place to hold a catching competition where people have to catch their opponents within a time limit. It's so freaking big! But whenever I get to the second level, I always wondered what was going on in the mind of the designer. Did he envision invisible platforms that can cut across the walkways or did he imagine patrons on rollerblades. It's advisable to plan out your shopping route, if not it's tedious marching to and fro across that same length. Vivocity's not hailed as the largest mall in Singapore for nothing; may Christian Louboutin bless the women in heels. That aside, I like going to the Pet Safari on the top floor, the little widdle puppies there on display are the cutest things ever. If you're on a date, the sky park overlooking Sentosa and the sea is pretty LOMANTIC at night. There are amphitheatre seats there - good place to rest your feet. One must-visit tenant at Vivocity is National Geographic at level one. It's a retail plus exhibition space; examples of the exhibitions could be simulations of extreme climates or photo displays of India's heritage.
google avatar

Kenneth N.

Yelp
I'm allowed to give the extra star for a tourist lol. Not just a massive mall, but it's happening. Everything you can think of is under one roof, though minus a few of the luxury retailers compared to the shopping at Orchard. What really impressed me the most is the sheer awesomeness of the food selection; not just the Food Republic with various cuisines upstairs, but also the main ground level, a more price-friendly along w/ the other kiosks in the mall. But wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a quieter time to take your time and stroll gingerly---it's like Black Friday shopping non-stop. And just a short hop to the resort Sentosa. Highly recommend for the hard-core shopper.
google avatar

Wendy H.

Yelp
This mall is massive! Not quite Siam Paragon (Bangkok) big, but it's the biggest one in Singapore. As big as the mall is, the shops are all very run-of-the-mill. There is nothing unique in here which you can't find in any other mall in Singapore. Basement is where you go when you're hungry. Anything from Thai food to your usual food court fare can be found here. My favorite part of the mall has to be Level 3. There you can find a big Daiso store and right beside it is Pet Safari, a really big pet shop. To be fair, I did manage to find something unique in Pet Safari - a hamster cage which I can't find anywhere else. They sell pedigree dogs too! Vivocity is also conveniently linked to Sentosa, so one can just pop over to the island for more family fun after a round of shopping.

Yelp
Sure VivoCity has something for everybody... but what I hate about this mall is also that is has EVERYBODY looking for something. You'll be hard-pressed to find a mall this big in Singapore and yet on weekends you'll still encounter a literal press of people. Sure it used to be worse when it first opened, but still. I'd rather head to somewhere I don't have to worry about parking, and that I know I won't have to wait for the 3rd lift from the carpark because the first two were full. Crowds aside though (and I do wish the crowds would just move aside), the place is great. I love the Vietnamese Bahn Mi place. It's my nearest Starbucks. The cinema is pretty new (relatively) and usually pretty empty if you're catching the late night shows (as I'm wont to do since I live nearby). It's the gateway to Sentosa. There're two supermarkets. There's a Barcelos (which is sorta like a budget Nando's), a Swensens, a Challenger, nicer brands like Zara, and more mid-range ones like those in Tangs. With a mall that big, it's just really hard to not have a reason to head to VivoCity. Of course... that means EVERYONE has a reason to head to VivoCity, and that's the biggest reason why I haven't rated it four stars. Oh. That and the fact that the mall is HUGE, but the POSB ATMs are at the corner furthest from the MRT entrance and cinemas. My run from cinema to ATM to get cash for popcorn is possibly one of the worst late night movie memories I have...

Yelp
One of the biggest shopping malls in Singapore, you can almost find anything and everything you need here. From restaurants to cafes to bars on to fashion boutiques, furnitures, electronincs, cinemas etc. You're bound to find a store that meets your needs. They also have a pretty nice rooftop promenade that makes for a nice evening stroll. Pretty popular with couples, you tend to see a few scenes of public displays of affection here and there. It can be pretty unpleasant but just ignore it and keep staring ahead at the pretty lights at sentosa and you'll be fine. The rooftop area used to be a favourite spot for class outings where we would sit around and play games and talk for hours, as we could make almost as much noise as we wanted there. The only downside is that vivocity is so big that finding your way around might be a little bit of a problem at first, but walking around for a while helps you familiarise yourself pretty quickly with the rather straightforward layout!

Yelp
Conveniently located at Harbourfront MRT station, Vivocity is quite a fun place to go. Filled with many interesting shops like Daiso, Mitju, Tangs, Zara and many more. It's a place that caters to all individuals. It's huge and you have a choice of Giant or Cold Storage if you intend to do your grocery shopping. It also has an open concept park at the top floor where you can just relax and laze while enjoying the sea breeze. It's a good place to bring the kids as there are quite a few kids attraction spots. When hungry, Vivocity offers quite a lot of choices such as Banquet, Fig & Olive, The Chicken Rice shop and many more. The only thing that I don't quite fancy about Vivocity is the layout of the mall. At some points, you have to walk a big round just to go to the other side which to me, is really inconvenient especially when you're in a hurry.

Yelp
Quite the shopping mall n Singapore has lots of them! It's near the MRT. Ate at xiwan chain which was pretty good. Overall a good time.

Yelp
this mall is so big, wish i could stay longer and do window shopping. but my family don't like shopping. they even have krispy kreme here with do many asia flavors like matcha. the mall was offering $5 voucher if we show them our passports. we used the vouchers at food republic.
google avatar

Yelp
I was pretty happy with this mall, so there's nothing overwhelmingly amazing about it. You have your typical consortium of brand names, an expansive food court with a lot of yummy options, clean restrooms, etc. I'm skimming the reviews next to what I'm writing and I didn't realize that it's Singapore's largest mall. It's definitely a good mall but nothing amazing? As a tourist, I wasn't impressed, especially relative to the types of malls that I've seen in Shanghai. I went to a few other malls in SIngapore and I actually liked them a bit more than Vivocity. I think Vivocity's main plus is that it has an infinitely large selection of food, but otherwise, it's alright, nothing special.
google avatar

Sonia T.

Yelp
All in all I like Vivo City, it's gigantic, and has lots of stores, but not a lot of things I buy if that makes sense. I basically frequent the same stores, theres a lot of filler stores, but maybe that's just me. Gap, Keihl's, Sephora, Tangs, Nike, Steve Madden, Bebe (although this Bebe is just sad) and Zara. Out of the 10 million stores those are pretty much the only ones I go to. They do have a fair amount of food places (hello Wing Stop) and they have a really nice movie theater I frequent. For kids and families this place is it. It also can shoot you across to Sentosa on the express which I have yet to do. Solid mall, but absolute madness on the weekends, and during Christmas, just don't do it.
google avatar

Loren B.

Yelp
One of the biggest malls in Singapore and right off of the MRT station. Although there are a lot of people in mall at all times, it never feels crowd with its spacious layout. I love this mall because there is a train on the top level that leads to Sentosa aka Universal Studios. The food court also located on the top level is massive. You will definitely find something you like here. The mall has everything from electronics to clothing and even a movie theater. Enjoy!
google avatar

Tammi T.

Yelp
Tourists and Visitors, listen up! I don't have to review this for locals, everyone knows you can get lots of stuff here. Recently my coworker asked where he should visit in Singapore, and Vivocity is one of the places I suggested. Lots of places to eat - if you want a taste of loacal food without braving the heat of hawker centers, Food Republic is an option. Shopping is pretty good, lots of stores and both international local brands can be found here. Now the reason why I really suggested Vivocity is because visitors can hop on the monorail to Sentosa or the cable car from harbourfront next door. That practically fills up a day of shopping, eating and sightseeing.

Yelp
A great place to walk and shop. Many places to eat and a wide selection. Prices are good and shopping several stores will give one some comparison shopping.
google avatar

Tyler L.

Yelp
A very nice, clean, and modern mall. The food here is better than most malls. It does get fairly crowded in the mornings and weekends with crowds heading to Sentosa. The mall itself is cool with modern architecture and the roof park is awesome.
google avatar

T H.

Yelp
Great mall, wish we had more than 1.5 hours here. We took a taxi from the airport, about 5-10 min, short ride. Prices are reasonable. Daiso store, Espirit, etc. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Things to do and see, people watch. Ive never seen so many people before in a mall, but understandably it was a holiday, New Years Day. Hope to come back in the future and see Sentora Island too.
google avatar

Jocelyn L.

Yelp
This place is a Madhouse any day of the week, but especially on weekends. Tons of eateries but if you're claustrophobic, avoid at all costs
google avatar

Reuben M.

Yelp
Vivo City, the answer to in between shopping or the rather the nearest full-fledged shopping mall to Sentosa. I like VivoCity simply because it is near my work place and my home plus it has all the amenities you would need or find in a single place. Fashion wise, there is not too much going on here except your mid range clothing like Zara, Topshop, Massimo and Tangs. This place is better suited for families with its large space especially on the top floor where you can often find kids running around and playing with the water feature. There is also an open playground on the second floor. The numerous restaurants and open spaces make it a great place to take the family on weekends hence the lack of parking space!
google avatar

Brooklyn C.

Yelp
Great air conditioning and, multistoried, there are plenty of stores to interest you. Restaurants and people-watching are also plentiful. There are very few benches, however, so it's not easy to find a place to rest.
google avatar

Qype User (.

Yelp
Inside the mall is probably none out of ordinary. The part that are quite unique in my opinion is the rooftop park with sand colour and water ponds. The only gate to go out if Sentosa to Singapore by train.

Yelp
I'm with Alex L. on this one. I am so glad I am not the only one who feels this way about VivoCity! It is as though people go into zombie mode once they cross the MRT gate, either stopping directly in front of moving heavy foot traffic without attempting to step aside, or cutting so closely in front, that you can't help but bump someone on occasion, and then they look at you as though you goosed them. Don't expect an "Excuse me," under any circumstances. And, for the love of chocolate, don't sit on or stand motionless in front of the stairs coming off the MRT gate, please?!? The disregard for common courtesy is definitely unnaturally amplified in this place. I only tend to venture here on occasion for Daiso and Giant, never after 4pm and never on the weekend! Many of the other stores are available nearby at more pleasant venues. I do think some of the weekend traffic could be alleviated with a more easily accessible MRT to Sentosa that accommodates more people at a time and that does not require a walk through the mall to use. That was strategically poor planning, though I understand they likely thought it a retail planning boon at the time. Even the boardwalk to Sentosa is difficult to access without a walk straight through the mall, again complicating access. Even cities have by-pass roads for easing this kind of insane congestion! Keep it. I'll go down by Marina Square where they have more of the types of things I want (like BOOKS, for instance) and the people are nicer anyway.

Yelp
food republic upstairs, kopitiam downstairs. no lack of food here. when it's super humid outside, best be indoors, shopping and eating and walking off all those extra calories.
