Vodni stolp - Water Tower

If you’re in Maribor, the Water Tower is definitely worth a stop. It combines several things nicely: history, good wine, scenic views, and a calm riverside atmosphere. It’s not a must-see like a huge castle, but for its size and character, it’s a gem — especially for people who like cultural heritage + food & drink.

Very nice location on the Drau! The location is simply a dream! The service was very bad! Like self-service! Then add overpriced prices and no ice cream for the wine cooler!

What a lovely bar by the river. It's located inside a medieval water tower and in summer they have a beautiful terrace which looks over the river. Service was friendly and the prices were very affordable. This is definitely the place to be if you want a drink in Maribor!

Nice place for a drink, coffee, wine, lemonade, everything was good. The service is top. We were twice during our weeken in Maribor and we would come back. The location cannot be better. It is quite and relaxing. Just to enjoy the view and your drink.

Good and friendly staff! Good location! Good wine. Nice music. Very romantic and atmospheric. The waitress recommended a good local wine to us. You can only pay in cash.

What a nice place to stop and drink a glass of wine and enjoy the views. Staff a little over stretched and run off their feet . English is spoken here along with other languages. Seems to be popular with all ages.

Nice place to enjoy a nice cup of tea or a glass of wine the views to the river get are stunning surrounded by lots of swans. The service was slow but I think they only have one waiter. He was nice and polite. Toilets were ok. You can pay with card or cash .

Great wine bar in the heart of Maribor at the river. It's a quite place but easy to find. Great wines by the glass (3 euro per glass) from the Maribor area. The setting is great at sunset with the river nearby, see my pictures. Would definitely recommend when you're in Maribor and up for some wine!
