Voinovich Bicentennial Park

Google
Nice views. Worth taking a stop if your traveling to Cleveland. I think it's best to go in the evening to watch the sunset. Was not over crowded. Safe for families. Nice chill place. Security was around but not harassing anyone. It's like everyone knows the vibe. Minorities are welcome here as well. A nice mixed crowd with plenty of space for everyone. I think you need to park and walk though. I did not see much parking.

Breathe taking view of the water. Park was super clean and right in down town behind the Rock Hall of Fame. You can also doc your boat if you have one.

Usually I'm here during the air show. Being there during a random Monday afternoon felt so foreign and different. It was quite relaxing and enjoyable with gorgeous views of the lake and city.

Voinovich Bicentennial Park is a true gem in the heart of the city. This beautifully designed park offers stunning views of the waterfront and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for everyone. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by well-maintained gardens, lush greenery, and vibrant flower beds that provide a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The park features ample walking paths, making it ideal for leisurely strolls or a brisk jog. The scenic views of the lake are breathtaking, especially during sunset, but what truly stands out is the beautiful view of the Cleveland skyline. It creates a stunning backdrop that enhances the park’s charm. One of my favorite aspects of Voinovich Park is the variety of activities available. Whether you’re interested in outdoor concerts, community events, or simply enjoying the beautiful landscapes, there’s always something happening here. The park is also pet-friendly, which is a huge plus for dog owners. Cleanliness and maintenance are clearly a priority, as the facilities are well-kept. Overall, Voinovich Bicentennial Park is a fantastic place to unwind, enjoy nature, and soak in the beautiful view of the Cleveland skyline. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the city!

Wonderful place to walk with beautiful views of the lake. Just a short walk straight down from the Rock n roll hall of fame.

Google
Very nice enjoyable park. Great way to see a lot of Cleveland sites from this area. Look out over the lake, see the good time three, Cleveland stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. All are easy walking distance from here.

Yelp
George V. Voinovich Bicentennial Park This park is an absolute gem in Cleveland--peaceful, beautiful, and full of character. Voinovich Bicentennial Park sits right along Lake Erie, offering stunning panoramic views of the water. On a clear day, you're actually facing Canada, which lies just across the lake--how cool is that? Out in the water, there's a long rock barrier (part of the harbor breakwall system) that adds a coastal, serene feel to the entire landscape. When I visited, there was a live opera performance happening right in the park, which made the experience feel even more special. You can sit on the grass or along the cement steps, which makes it a great spot for a picnic, sunset-watching, or just relaxing near the water. There are often events held here, so it's worth checking the schedule if you're visiting--though honestly, just showing up might surprise you with something fun. The atmosphere is open and vibrant, but still calm and clean. You'll also find: * Boat rentals nearby if you want to get on the water * Restaurants right along the shore * Hotels with waterfront views, all within walking distance The park itself is well-maintained, clean, and has lots of visual interest, including ships docked nearby and big open views of the lake and sky. I visited in the evening, and the sunset over the water was absolutely breathtaking--a perfect end to the day. I can't wait to come back and spend more time here. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is one of those spots that makes you stop, take a deep breath, and just enjoy where you are.

Yelp
I'll give this the benefit of the doubt and an extra star because of the weather. This was a short walk from the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Street parking was free on a Saturday morning. There are restaurants nearby.

Yelp
Nice area along the waterfront in Cleveland, Ohio. Great photo opportunity with the Awesome Cleveland sign! Pretty Cleveland downtown skyline in the background. Lake Erie can be seen on the other side of the park. Definitely a terrific sight to visit when you are in Cleveland! Check it out when you in this city. It is close to all the best attractions.

Yelp
Right behind the rock hall, you're right next to the shore at this gorgeous park. I recommend you take a nice stroll here while you visit the rock hall due to the views of the lakeshore and the Cleveland skyline. It's also a great place for a photog session and getting your steps in. Well-played Cleveland!

Yelp
Beautiful park on the water After visiting the science center we walked over on the bridge that connects the park. Great views of the lake. There is also sand volleyball and public restrooms. Lots of benches and areas to sit. Plus the cleveland sign for awesome pictures. There is even a restaurant on the edge of the park so you could have a full day here.

Yelp
You'll find Voinovich Bicentennial Park more or less between the Inner Harbor, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the football stadium. It's a gorgeous oasis with plenty of waterfront scenery, lots of boats, public art, statues, benches, lots of gorgeous green grass, and endless photo ops. We strolled around after visiting the Rock and Roll HOF and had a very nice time.

Yelp
Beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Lots of room to walk as well never overcrowded. Get there before 7

Yelp
A downtown CLEVELAND staple with spectacular Lake Erie views. It located in the East 9th street pier on the North Coast Harbour. I can't believe that I have not reviewed this park yet. It's awesome and if I lived downtown, I would be here all the time. It isn't the best park in Cleveland but it is good enough for the services it offers such as free yoga. Speaking of parks, check out Lakewood Park and Edgewater Park in Lakewood. RUNNING - Some runners will jog around the park but it is a small park. You can still do some fitness exercise here on your own. There is plenty of grass space to do a cardio or strength based workout. FREE YOGA - This is my favourite thing about this park besides the wonderful lake views. There are free yoga classes here every summer leading into the Autumn season (June - September). The classes are offered by different Cleveland Yoga studios. Check out the below website for details - http://www.northcoastharbor.org/events/event/north-coast-namaste/ PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES - The iconic "Cleveland" script sign is here so you can come take photos in front of it. It's wonderful and overlooks the water. FOOD / BATHROOM - There is a restaurant right next to the park so if you are hungry then stop on in. I've never been there but it's on my list. It's called "Nuevo" and it is a Mexican restaurant and bar. Anytime I need the bathroom, I always go into the restaurant and they allow me to use their bathroom. I can't remember if there is a portable toilet here at the park but I don't remember seeing one. TOURIST - The Goodtime III cruise is docked here. The boat departs from here several times a day for their cruises. I recommend taking a cruise sometime to learn about the history of the City of Cleveland while viewing Lake Erie. CONS - There are no benches to sit at but right on the water, they have these big steps that you can sit on which is an option. It would also be nice if food trucks or a food stand was here. This park is a perfect location to have a mini food station (informal). The restaurant next door is an option but it isn't as casual. Overall, I recommend visiting this park. Although it is small, it's well kept (clean), there is a parking lot, and the LAKE ERIE view is breath taking. *** - 208 total Yelp reviews. - I have written 162 Yelp reviews in 2018.

Yelp
It is so beautiful, clean and a friendly spot. Must go if you want to watch the sunset on a clear sky day. I visited this place during my visit and loved walking around and just breathing in the fresh air. Watching the sun melt into the lake was picturesque!

Yelp
Located at North Coast Harbor by the Rock Hall, Voinovich Bicentennial Park is a wonderful park. Its beautifully maintained by the city/Downtown Cleveland Alliance Clean & Safe Ambassadors. Seriously, not even one ounce of trash on the ground or flower out of place. In the summer, I love to see so many people walking, chilling on the park benches or hanging at nearby Nuevo. The park overlooks Lake Erie. As others have pointed out, there's a lovely sunset that you can catch with beautiful views of the lake, city skyline, Rock Hall and the Cleveland Cliffs ship. Its safe to hang here within reasonable hours as its well-patrolled by local police. I've attended North Coast Namaste here, which is a free yoga session on the green hills led by a different local yoga studio each time. Its fun to see different fitness and spots activated in the park and for people to experiences different uses for the space. You can also meet so many good floofers here if you just stay long enough! Love.

Yelp
This is such an iconic Cleveland park, and a must see if you are in Cleveland! As a photographer, this is always a favorite spot for weddings as well, as it provides a skyline view of the city as well as a background of Lake Erie. Highly recommend! Images by Jennifer Elizabeth Photography.

Yelp
They have the iconic "Cleveland" sign here with a great view of the Cleveland skyline and Lake Erie. It is located right behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Mexican Restaurant. I do recommend that they add a few benches. No place to take a seat and enjoy the scenery. An ice cream stand might also be nice here. Nevertheless, you get great views here.

Yelp
The view of the city from here is actually phenomenal! Not only that, but you can walk alongside Lake Erie to get to enjoy the views of the water from here as well. There is tons of open area so it is spacious enough for various activities, and if you are new to the city (or just like Cleveland attractions) there is a very cool Cleveland sign that is perfect for taking pictures and just enjoying the city!

Yelp
If for no other reason, go here to check out the Cleveland Air Show for free--it's one of the best views of the show around The Land. But as a park, it's just awesome. Like yelper Alexander B mentioned, this park is way underutilized. It boasts fabulous views of both the city scape and lake. It's well maintained and relatively safe, considering there is a regular guard that remains there for the hours it's open. I will say that the city does a few events at the park during the warmer months, but I'd love to see more--especially with it's awesome location right next to the Browns Stadium, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center. Keep in mind that this is more of a place to make your own fun, so don't expect a jungle gym for the kiddies, etc. I absolutely love this park for a sunset bike ride and stroll, but I'm really looking forward to having a picnic here one of these days.

Yelp
This place is pretty beautiful year round we visited today and it was amazing. This place is great to get a pic with the famous Cleveland sign, watch the lake crash on to the shores or just look at how beautiful Cleveland is!

Yelp
Voinovich Park is a hidden gem in downtown Cleveland. Located at the end of the pier behind the Rock Hall, it has stunning views of both the city and sunsets over the lake. The park is open late, and has a guard, which may make some people feel more comfortable due to its downtown location. It's perfect for an afternoon stroll, or a picnic after visiting the Rock Hall or Great Lakes science Center.

Yelp
I love Voinovich Park! I think this is the best place to take pictures of the skyline. It's so picturesque. I like to bike down there. Never have been to any of the festivals but I hear its a great venue. Beautiful place to visit!!!!

Steve B.

Yelp
Overall nice place just think it's a joke that you have to pay $16 or 18 or whatever it is the park there I go there often fish on the pier I just think it's a joke that you have to pay $18 pretty much the fish there to park and it's a public park I just wish that somebody would look into that at least not charge fishermen the part there other than that it is a nice place and it is kept up but the parking fee for fishing and enjoying the park is a joke I could see for people that are going to the restaurant or Rock Hall have to pay or the good time but not just for the recreational aspect of it

Yelp
Cleveland is the city of parks and this is my first since moving here last week. I went here for the Cleveland Wine Festival and enjoying drinks while bordered by the lake on one side and Cleveland on the other is really enjoyable. Well maintained and you have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next door with some parking garages and street parking within walking distance. This is a place that can be used for a whole host of events and hopefully I'l be back here for other events!!

Yelp
Great park right behind the Rock Hall! Ive been to Cadillac shows and Burning River Fest here amongst other things throughout the years. Its a good place to skateboard and they dont seem to bust balls too much about it. The only thing I took a star off for was the parking blows and they got rid of the permanent skate park that was left over from the X Games. The city builds basketball courts, baseball and football fields but no places for OTHER sports. Some kids like to think outside the box and not spend so much time in locker rooms with other naked dudes..

Yelp
We were all set to go to Voinovich Bicentennial Park today. Drove up to the gate, discovered a DISGUSTING $8 parking fee to get in to use the park. Absolutely ridiculous, we won't be coming back. As we were waiting to get in, 3 out of 4 of the drivers turned their vehicles around in disgust. I won't be going back!
