We had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Michael, who kindly picked us up in town since the place isn’t easily found on Google. The accommodation boasts breathtaking views of the volcanoes. The garden is stunning; it’s a perfect spot to relax. The rooms are simple but spacious, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Moreover, the food was great. Rita prepared each meal with such love and care. Breakfast was always on time, and we were delighted to enjoy it in the beautiful garden, even before heading out for our Gorilla and Golden Monkey adventure. Dinner was served in a cozy outdoor meeting area which felt like a special experience every night with the charcoal heater. Michael, Jean Damour, and Frederik often joined us for a chat, making us feel like part of the family. We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave, but we left with wonderful memories!

We LOVED our stay with Mickael, Rhita, Jean D'amour, Olivier and the rest of the team. They made us feel so at home in this beautiful location directly under the volcanoes. You couldn't ask for a better view, or better hospitality. Our experience was truly one we will remember for a lifetime, walking in nature. caves, visiting the museum and of course, climbing Gahinga (the smallest of the volcanoes). Despite being little, the hike was really challenging but we had an amazing time as we were joined by some members of the team along with the usual escort and our wonderful official guide Torero. Food was home-cooked and delicious, the company was second to none, creating a family atmosphere, and we can't wait to come back and challenge Oliver again to Igisoro. Also, cute dog.

Volcanoes Over View Safaris really stole our heart , the trips are awesome , the host are amazing , Michael tried hard and harder to follow up our every route we took to reach in Volcanoes, the guides are good , the food is lovely and the rooms are beautiful with basic things needed by a traveler , but our highlight is the view !

This is a back packer kind of place. The views are amazing. And the staff is exceptional. There is also a sweet dog. Make sure to ask Michael for directions. You want to turn right after the Dyan Fossey (Ellen) museum. Google maps will take you done some very questionable “roads”.

I have been here for camping. I really enjoyed the place with spectacular views of the volcanoes, with good staff , friendly...👌 The best place I can recommend to anyone to spend there night!

Far from the large luxury hotels overpriced. The volcano overview guesthouse welcomes you in a very friendly, simple and authentic atmosphere. The view from the garden is just Amazing! Michael and his superb team will be at your disposal so that you can live a superb experience. The proposed excursion was completely adapted to our expectations and allowed us to make great meeting with people from villages around.
