Great hotel with an excellent view on the Akossombo dam and the famous Volta lake. We enjoyed our 2 days stay the personnel were all so nice. The food is really good especially if you like spicy food. The pool was also nice and clean.

When I got to volta hotel the rooms cost to much. I was in room 46 it didnt have internet and the inter communication was so bad we could not recive service we had to wait for the next day for the ip to fix it and we had a 1 day stay. This review is written by my 10year old daughter.

A beautiful hotel on the hillside, it gives a good view of the Akosombo Dam. Their services are good and they have a gym, spa, tennis court and other amenities on the grounds. If you're looking to relax and have a good time, then this is definitely the place to be on holidays.

Came here for lunch! View was amazing and food was on point. Staff were very friendly also, recommend!

The laundry service and good service was great. The internet was some of the best in the country. The rooms are a bit small, but they try to accomplish a lot in the space. The bathrooms were ok. Our counter was lose. However, it was westernized and gave us a night of feeling closer to home. Oh but the credit card machine didn't work well eith the internet.

The hotel is at a good location, splendid view of beautiful landscape beyond the dam and the Akosombo township. excellent view of the hydroelectric dam. Large hotel compounds with greens on a well designed hillside landscape. Calm and serene environment. It’s a nice place for relaxation and reflection. There’s swimming pool, adults and children section. Tennis court, gym and Massage Centre. Conference center is available. Well kept rooms and good service. We had a balcony that overlooks the greens and portions of the hydroelectric dam. Their food was good. We ordered some local dishes, banku and tilapia okro soup, yam and palava sauce. Nice hot chocolate for late evening. Morning walk through the nearby community was refreshing. However, there was no lift to get luggage and stuff down to the next floor. Had to take the stairs with the help of the receptionist. We had wanted to join the ferry ⛴️ but it was fully booked during our time of stay. In summary, we had a good stay!

The hotel staff were really friendly, their buffet was equally amazing but the highlight of my trip there was by far the view from the reception area, being about to look out unto the Akosombo dam and it's environs was a truly captivating sight to behold, 10/10 would recommend and visit again
