I attended the Sparkle party a couple of weeks ago, and it was a really pleasant experience! The event was well-organized, with fast-moving queues, which made it easy to get in and enjoy the night. The drink prices were reasonable, and I appreciated the overall vibe of the place. The sound system was good, creating a fun atmosphere throughout the night. I had a great time there with friends.

Built in 1913, now a proud monument, De Vooruit is a great place to visit plays, rock concerts, debates and what-have-yous. The restaurant is beautiful mixture of art deco and art nouveau and modern styling. Food is simple, nice, authentically Belgian and far from expensive. And when the sun is out, make sure to ascent to the terrace. Love it here.

Nice ambiance, a nice panel to choose regarding drinks and food. Don't miss out on the classic cheese cubes with a side of mustard 😋 They also seem to have a nice outdoor terrace sadly it was raining. And a nice divers public^.^

One of the most awesome cafes in Ghent! Great to relax and hangout, but equally great to get some work done or have a business meeting. BTW: don't forget to check out the menu! Fresh ingredients and they have the best salads in town!

A nice terrace in the heart of the city. You find yourself in a pleasant and different place. It is definitely better for sitting outside when the weather is nice although the indoor space is also unique and cosy. It is self service and in busy times you might need to wait for quite some time to order your drinks. And if you order Aperol Spritz make sure you explain to them how it is done..

'Vooruit' is a cultural-event space most known for its large beautiful theater with seating and balconies (see photo) and it's medium sized concert hall. Besides there's also a large catering space offering drinks, lunch and dinner. If you are a tourist, a visit to the theater space is the most recommendable. In 2013 this building was 100 years old, it is classified as a monument and after several renovations it received the Flemish monuments price in the year 2000.

One of the great "grand café's" Belgium has to offer. I drunk a great glass of Pinot Noir, adviced by the girl from the bar. She was right.

Great venue, great atmosphere and awesome gigs, though sometimes the acoustics might do with some tuning from time to time.
