We stayed here on two occasions in the same trip we liked this place so much. It is within 5min walking distance of a cute town with restaurants, cafes, and groceries. It's right in front of the lake, a walking path that runs along the lake front into town, and a public play ground. The 4 toilets and 4 toilet/shower combos look modern and were clean but busy in the am. Two washer and dryers. You get a free 4 min shower and as a female with hair past my shoulders, I was set up an ready to go when the hot water started and it was enough time for me. The cassette dump was a hands off machine, which was really nice. There is an outdoor and indoor kitchen with sinks, stoves and different stations for multiple people to use at once, intended to prepare food and move to another location to eat. We had great service and everyone was friendly and helpful. There are limited sites - maybe 40 when we were there, so I think booking ahead during the busier season or arriving early is best. Electric is extra but every site has electric capabilities. They also have some cabins and I saw them trying to be super accommodating to those traveling in groups.

Parked here overnight in our camper van. Recommend you book in advance for this place fills up quick. We went in Sept and by 1500 all drop spots were gone. Had to pay for a premium spot. The location by the water and walking paths was very nice. However, campers get the better views. The WiFi was very limited. The bathrooms were free and clean. Just very limited showers so be ready to scramble in the morning. Power was extra. The kitchen was very nice with all the amenities (soap, sponges, towels, water kettle, etc). The water, grey water and waste point was the best we have seen this trip.

Great campsite with all amenities included. The service is excellent, as is the location. There's a playground and sports area right next to the campsite. There's also a swimming pool (not owned by the campsite). The sanitary facilities are also excellent. A truly fantastic campsite, I would definitely go back.

The pictures are very deceiving as the pool is not a camping pool, just next to it. You have to pay a lot and the outdoor pool is closed during bad weather. Unfortunately, there’s no room for sitting inside. There are two chairs in the kitchen, super cramped and uncomfortable. Not a lot of toilets and showers for the amount of people. The owner seemed nice at first but then I felt like he was being nosy and rude.

We stayed one night here with our motorhome and were very impressed by the impeccable service and cleanliness. Our parking spot had electricity right beside it, which was very convenient. It's a lovely stopover, especially with kids—the heated pool and large play area by the lake were definite highlights. We felt safe throughout our stay and had a smooth, quick check-in. Highly recommend!

Our second time staying here. Sandy and the team are so welcoming and keep the campground in top shape. Super clean facilities, free (timed) showers, great central location in Voss, and just a few steps to the lake. Highly recommended!! We’ll be back 👏

Compact & Convenient Campsite in the Heart of Town This campsite is right in the center of town, directly by the water. It's a compact site, so cars and tents are quite close together. There's also a summer swimming pool right next door. We arrived in the evening (around 6 PM) in July, and the place was completely full that night. However, we still managed to find a spot for our small tent, which was great! The staff here were exceptionally friendly. The price includes showers and dishwashing facilities. The service building is newer, incredibly clean, and very functional. I'd say it's one of the best in Norway in these aspects. Highly recommended!

Sad that the first picture I see is of a swimming pool… that is NEXT to the campsite and NOT part of it. (So yes, you have to pay for entrance if you want to use it) Felt totally baited into coming here… Also the 4 minute showers, clearly designed by some men with no imagination of how long it takes to properly clean longer hair 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Yelp
Although beautifully located close to the town center, the campsite is woefully overrated. It is very expensive even for Norwegian standards and has four showers and three bathrooms/toilets for all visitors (ca. 200), the WiFi is extra as well as the showers that are constructed the wrong way so the the clothing gets wet. If had been much cheaper for a smaller campground, three stars would be okay. But at this price it's a sham.
