The Roc Club is a peaceful, stylish hotel located just 30 minutes from central Athens in the beautiful seaside town of Vouliagmeni. We stayed in a spacious suite with a sea view and loved waking up to the calming sights and sounds of the town. The hotel’s design is modern yet cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the biggest perks is the location, you can easily walk to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. Compared to staying in the heart of Athens, we found this area to be far more relaxing and enjoyable. Plus, the included breakfast was fantastic, with a generous spread that changed daily. If you're looking for a more serene home base with easy access to the city, this is an excellent choice.

Decent hotel, nice service, calm and relaxing rooms. Good breakfast. Located close to the sea (although it’s across the main road) and close to some nice local restaurants.|Woken up on the Monday morning at 7am by construction work nearby (3 properties away) that reverberates through the building and feels as though it’s coming from underneath. It was impossible to sleep through. No advance warning from the hotel, which was unprofessional and disappointing. It’s possible that some rooms are more affected than others, so it’s worth asking at check in.|Overall a nice hotel but missing the details and professionalism that you might expect at this price.

Positives: check in was easy. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The hotel has recently been renovated . In a good location to get to local beaches. Pool area was nice enough to spend a few hours.|The cleaner was fantastic and perhaps the only member of staff that deserves a mention.||Negatives: Service needs to be improved. It’s not that it’s a 7/10 and the hotel can improve slightly, the service is more like a 2/10. Drinks take a while to arrive/ do not arrive at all, wrong orders were brought to our table and place settings were not laid for everyone in our group. ||Pool area: Don’t be deceived by the pictures, the pool area does not have an uninterrupted sea view. There is is a road between the pool area and the sea. There is also a car park to the right of the pool area. Service is non existent. No pool attendant to help with moving sun loungers and umbrellas- when the life guard saw us struggling to move a lounger he didn’t get up to help. Rowdy drunk groups disrupting other pool users.||Noise: there is construction happening nearby. On weekdays it starts very early (earlier than 7am which is the time noisy work is permitted). There is a generator or pump by the pool which makes an annoying whirring noise. ||Breakfast: This needs to be improved! The food quality was poor. We asked to sit as a group of 5 on the first day. It took 30+ minutes for that to be arranged. We made clear that on the next 2 mornings the table should be set up for 5. The following morning that hadn’t happened. ||Overall the hotel is fine if you want somewhere nice to sleep on a weekend however for the price you would expect more.

The hotel is renovated with top quality materials and exquisite taste, view over the sea is amazing, staff is incredibly nice and helpful, pool is super clean, great bedroom with sea view and balcony, very nice bathroom with Japanese toilets! we loved our stay!!!

My family and I stayed at the hotel for 4 days last week. I was impressed by several things. First of all, I would like to note the extremely kind, smiling and polite staff. The people who work at the hotel deserve recognition and gratitude for all their dedication to their guests. I want to thank everyone - the boy who welcomed us and helped with the luggage, the girls at the reception who checked us in and treated us to a glass of sparkling wine and small cakes, the man who always opened and closed the door for us, the extremely kind and smiling woman who served us breakfast every morning, the boy who made us coffee and cappuccino, the women who perfectly cleaned our room every day and left us compliments. These people made us feel cozy, special and made our stay at the hotel extremely memorable. We even went to have coffee at the Four Seasons Athens one day and it struck me that the staff there was much colder and less engaged with the visitors. Another thing I want to note is that the hotel is very clean, with a modern and sophisticated design and atmosphere. It is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, in close proximity to the sea, a beautiful lake, a marina with branded shops and nice restaurants with delicious food. There was also free parking at the hotel. We were impressed that they upgraded us to a room with a sea view for free, and the extra bed they had put in our room for my daughter was extremely comfortable with a large mattress. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and stylish, equipped with everything we needed. For the second time for our vacation we choose a hotel from the Grecotel chain and we are extremely satisfied. We will definitely visit The Roc Club again. We wish them much success in the New Year and continue to maintain their high level of service!

Checked in for one evening to a deluxe sea room and was disappointed with the bare amenities, it was apparent the room didn’t represent the photos on the website, it was unfinished with lack of artwork, etc, and smaller than the square meters noted, furthermore the mattresses were below expectations. If management was aware the room was unfinished, then they should provide upgrade to a complete room or provide a discount to price, which was markedly high for the room type. Otherwise, I commend the staff for service level and the location is desirable for a stay before going to islands or returning home from Athens airport.
