Voulisma beach

The water is unreal - so transparent and clear. It's probably one of the best beaches i've ever been. You could hire two sun beds and parasol for 10€.

The beach is very beautiful but the water and sand is full of plastic. There are small pieces of plastic everywhere. Never saw a beach so polluted. Does anyone know what happened to the beautiful clear Cretan weathers?

Nice white sandy beach. 2 Beds and 1 parasol for the whole day 25€ at the left and only 10€ at the right. Come before 10am if you want the beds. Fresh water shower and a small beach club with great food! Just follow sign Macrame Beach.

The beach looks fantastic but the water sadly is full of plastic trash. It's a shame that this place gets ruined by that. I was really looking forward to snorkeling there but I didn't want to swim through all the plastic. The beach is also very crowded and sunbeds are expensive. I wouldn't spend the day there.

One hour drive from Heraklion,you can park free ,main beach was very full in August no places even on the sand,luckily we found 1 set of beds for 30 euro just in front of the restaurant upstairs it is like a small private beach downstairs,we have luck,someone maybe have just left,the food at the restaurant is very delicious.one of the best on Crete,a bit on higher price list,but it is worth it

The best beach ever! Very clean with clear water. Sunbeds are 10 euros on the left side and 25 on the right. I loved it.

Amassing beach! Not crowded in the end of September. The the water is clean, blue and nice temperature.

Beautfil beach with fine sand. Calm and mostly clean water. However, in some parts, the water looks polluted with many tiny particles of plastic(?). I would totally recommend it. 40 euros for the umbrella, but the sundbeds are very comfortable.
