Stayed here during a business trip in August and was impressed. Smooth check-in, reliable Wi-Fi, and solid meeting facilities made work easy. After hours, the ocean views, great food, and relaxing atmosphere were the perfect reset, not to mention the amazing staff. What a great balance of business and coastal charm. I would definitely return.

I recently enjoyed a stay at Voyager Beach Resort in Mombasa and was impressed by the experience. The staff provided courteous and efficient service, making check-in easy. The room was cozy, a stunning ocean view and a comfortable bed, perfect for relaxation. The on-site restaurant served delicious local cuisine, and the pool area was a delightful bonus. A slight delay in housekeeping was the only downside, but it didn’t overshadow the overall stay. I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway.|Rating: 4.5/5

This beachfront resort is an absolute gem! It offers a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean that immediately makes you feel like you’re on a true getaway. The lush green grass and beautifully maintained gardens add a refreshing, serene vibe to the whole place. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. I visited on a day pass mainly to try out the food — and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, with a variety of amazing options on the menu. I especially loved the flavors, although I felt the starch portion was a bit small. One thing to note: unfortunately, swimming is reserved for guests only, so I wasn’t able to take a dip as I had hoped, which was a little disappointing. If you're planning to enjoy a beach walk, I highly recommend visiting in the morning hours. By around 3:00 pm, the beach was already covered by water, and we couldn’t take that stroll along the shore. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a relaxing day, great food, and stunning ocean views — just be sure to plan your beach walk and swimming expectations ahead of time. Definitely a solid 9/10! 🌊

Location & Access||The resort sits right on Nyali Beach, with sweeping ocean views and quick access to local attractions. It’s about a 30–40 minute drive from Moi International Airport, depending on traffic. If your meetings are in central Mombasa, plan extra travel time as the city’s roads can get busy. The resort can arrange airport transfers, which makes logistics easier.||Business-Friendly Features||Voyager does provide conference rooms and meeting spaces, suitable for small to mid-sized gatherings. WiFi is available throughout the property, and while it worked for emails and video calls, speeds were inconsistent at peak hours. If your work is bandwidth-heavy, I’d recommend confirming connectivity details before arrival.||Rooms include a desk and enough space to work comfortably. For a quick print or scan, the business centre can assist, though it’s more modest than a typical city hotel setup.||Rooms & Comfort||Rooms are spacious and airy, with either garden or sea views. Mine had a balcony that was perfect for relaxing after work. The basics are all there: good air conditioning, reliable hot showers, and a comfortable bed.||That said, some of the furnishings show their age, and sound from evening entertainment can carry into nearby rooms. If you’re an early riser or need quiet nights, request a room away from the central activity areas.||Dining & Service||Food is one of Voyager’s strong suits. The resort offers multiple restaurants with themed buffets and à la carte menus. There’s plenty of variety, from fresh seafood to international dishes, which worked well for long stays.||Service was friendly and warm, though at peak times meals could feel a bit slow. If you’re on a tight business schedule, I recommend dining earlier to avoid delays.||Atmosphere & Added Value||What makes Voyager stand out is its balance of business and leisure. After long meetings, you can walk straight to the beach, enjoy the pools, or simply sit by the ocean with a drink. The nautical theme and entertainment programs create a lively, social atmosphere — though that can mean a little less peace and quiet than in a pure“A Business Stay with a Seaside Escape

I had a great experience at Voyager with my family! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and were quick to fix any problems that came up. The rooms were clean and spacious. The food was delicious and we highly enjoyed the entertainment. See the pics from a Michael Jackson performance. I highly recommend to anyone who is interested!

The Voyager is a fantastic hotel let down only by the rooms which are a little bit tired and could do with modernising. Having said that the grounds are immaculate, the staff are always smiling and want to help, the food choice is excellent and the three pools give you so many choices on where to spend your relaxation whilst you while away the days. The beach does disappear at high tide and the beach vendors are persistent and are watching like eagles for you to dare to put a foot on the sand. Consequently we spent very little time on there which was a shame. Would I stay here again, a big yes as the minor issues in no way impact of such a lovely place

My entire stay was exceptional and unforgettable! And this could have not happened without the guest relations manager Amina Kassim and the entire crew. They were professional, and always attentive to every detail. They made me feel truly cared for, thanks again to Amina!!! I'll definitely return!!!
