This beachfront resort is an absolute gem! It offers a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean that immediately makes you feel like you’re on a true getaway. The lush green grass and beautifully maintained gardens add a refreshing, serene vibe to the whole place. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. I visited on a day pass mainly to try out the food — and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, with a variety of amazing options on the menu. I especially loved the flavors, although I felt the starch portion was a bit small. One thing to note: unfortunately, swimming is reserved for guests only, so I wasn’t able to take a dip as I had hoped, which was a little disappointing. If you're planning to enjoy a beach walk, I highly recommend visiting in the morning hours. By around 3:00 pm, the beach was already covered by water, and we couldn’t take that stroll along the shore. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a relaxing day, great food, and stunning ocean views — just be sure to plan your beach walk and swimming expectations ahead of time. Definitely a solid 9/10! 🌊

This is a beautiful resort, with great comfortable rooms. We stayed under the all inclusive rate for five nights and it was too long. After the second or third day the food becomes repetitive as well as the entertainment. If you stay more than two nights I recommend getting half board and going out to eat in town. Location is not great cuz it’s far from town and not great options for transportation. Also the service at the restaurants is poor at best.

Second time here at this resort, but our first time with our 3 little kids here. The staff made us feel as welcomed and comfortable as possible. The variety of food at meals, in between meals at the bar - oh my! Vegetarian friendly. Lots of variety. The staff do a great job with the entertainment after dinner. They all work so hard and it shows. The maintenance staff were also so kind and generous. There is a kids zone where they have structured activities and pool time. They were wonderful there. My son got sick during the trip and the nurse there was great with helping him. Even the staff at meal time would see that he was sick and make recommendations of drinks, etc to help him. I cannot thank them all enough. |The resort has several pools there to enjoy. You can also walk along the beach which is just past the pools. Great views wherever you are. On a different trip, we did try another resort before at another location, but it didn't compare to Voyager. We hope to be coming here again in the future.

Had a great time at the Voyager. Great views of the ocean, several pools within the hotel with one right at the bank of the beach so the ocean splashes onto its sides during high tide. Great food fare. Would unreservedly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed two nights at Voyager Beach Resort. I booked a garden view twin and we were super happy to find our room, in deck 1, had a view across the gardens to the pool and ocean. The room was huge and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is definitely in need of an update but it was perfectly functional. We loved the big fluffy towels! We were very surprised to find that I’d booked a fully inclusive package that included all meals and drinks. It's the first time we've stayed 'all inclusive'. The available beers, wines, spirits and cocktails were all that we wanted, and, well, more than we needed! The lunch and breakfast buffets were truly gigantic. An amazing variety. We didn’t go to the dinner buffet as we ate away from the resort on our first night and at the ‘Italian’ the second. We would not recommend the Italian. The food was beautifully presented, and was good, but it just took too long to be served. Drinks took forever as well. There was also a daily afternoon tea that we didn't try. The weather wasn’t our friend during our stay and it rained on and off for most of the two days. We still made the most of what was on offer including spending some quality time at the Look Out Bar working our way through the included cocktails. It is a big and busy resort but it didn’t ever feel crowded. The staff were all super nice and looked like they enjoyed working at the resort. All the guests looked like they were enjoying themselves too. The gardens are beautiful and there are three pools, including an adults only pool. One thing to note is that there’s no proper beach in front of the hotel and this for us was a big minus. When the tide is out there’s sand, but it’s not a beach. The wide sandy beach starts immediately to the south of the resort. We’d recommend the resort to anyone wanting an all inclusive Mombasa ocean front experience. Great accommodation, facilities, entertainment, food and drinks and safety.

The hotel is on the beachfront, offering ocean views and immediate access to the sand and sea. The staff was very friendly, attentive in our case there was a guy at the reception by the name of Charles and a lady called Cecilia from the snack bar they went out of their way to ensure a warm, memorable stay. The high light of my stay was my birthday celebration where I was given a free complimentary cake by the hotel! And how the staff presented the cake to me dancing their heart out! The inner child in me came out. We will definitely be back.

Very unpleasant stay. I returned back because I enjoyed our stay here a decade ago, noticed standards went really down. The washrooms at receptions area don’t match the rooms standards and quality …. Washrooms way better !!! Rooms very old and worn out, rails on balcony rusty, floor was sandy ( not sure if it was cleaned ?) AC big no no Didn’t cool and suddenly stopped working at all in the middle of the night Response from reception is extremely slow even for Kenyan standards !!! Just a complete disappointment
